It is Dimaah singing in the background. He was only 18 when he sang this so his voice was still maturing.
It is one of my favourite songs of Dimash. According to what I found on YT, it is from 2017, but maybe the video clip by Gloria Wu was produced that year, and the audio is really 8 years old? Are you sure? please inform. Cheers from Vienna
@@m.bk.3928 its gloria wus that was from 2017. It was a competition he sung in 2012 during contest Zhas, Qanat Young waves competition where he won the grand prize. Hope that helps.

Но, дело в том, что он говорит о величине искусства Димаша, о том, как высоко певец поднялся...и, тут же переживает за то, что это может когда то кончится... Мне кажется, что дело не в том, чего Димаш может еще достичь и на какие высоты подняться... Нам то уже точно нет никакого смысла рассуждать об этом...Дело в том - что мы можем благодарить бога за то, что уже Димашем создано! That was all Dimash. The vibrato matches in the "duet" segments, and those runs are ear candies. I love how he treats the simplicity of this song with embellishments as if to give it a little shine here n there, very tasteful. In the NY concert he shows how to mimick auto tune in Autumn Strong, very subtle but amazing nonetheless. Thanks Matt, well done🤗

КРАТКИЙ ПЕРЕСКАЗ ДЛЯ ТЕХ, У КОГО НЕТ СУБТИТРОВ /////////////// Наш любимый Метью много слушает Димаша, конечно, все новинки, а сегодня решил послушать из старого. Я записала своими словами, что он говорил до, во время и после просмотра: «Голос воздушный, как всегда. Я предполагаю, что эти визуальные эффекты взяты из какого-то фильма о любви, т.к. видимо эта песня тоже о любви, судя по названию. Эти отрывки из романтического фильма, похоже, что это происходит в Восточной Европе или в Западной Азии. Хотя могу ошибаться. Я - "геоугадатель", т.е. играю в географию в свободное личное время. Это похоже на украинский язык, хотя вначале показалось, что это русский, т.к. надписи были на кириллице. Красивая песня. Не знаю, это песня Димаша, или он просто делает кавер? На втором припеве уже не легкий и воздушный голос, а стало много силы в вокале и интенсивное фортепиано. В конце как-будто идет дуэт. Кто, кто это? (Второй голос) - это Димаш поддерживает свой собственный трек, это звучит слишком женственно. Что-то внутри меня прямо сейчас говорит мне, что обе части этого дуэта поет Димаш (один заранее записанный голос наложен на живое выступление - Азия М.). Я от Димаша видел и более странные вещи. Я стараюсь сосредоточиться только на дуэте. (на 8:23 концовка песни) Что это было? Прямо идет там классика, 100%, а потом вроде бы что-то вроде автоматической настройки… О, Боже мой! … Вся песня была очень простой, типично классической, гладкой, совершенно нормальной. Если бы я просто услышал это, не зная, что это Димаш, то просто подумал бы - "да, действительно красивая песня". А потом вдруг он просто вставляет мягкую классику - изменение жанра, а в самом конце обратно переключается. Димаш продолжает это делать? Три года назад (в 2018 г.)! Я никогда не слышал эту песню от Димаша, которая звучит как rnb ish в одиночку. Самое впечатляющее, что многое, что я уже услышал от Димаша, было более удивительным, чем эта песня. На шкале Димаша это очень простая песня, но она великолепна. Мы уже слышали D8, мы слышали эти вторые ноты, мы слышали все эти сумасшедшие пробежки от 3-й до 5-й октавы, эти вокальные слайды, когда он поднимается на октаву за октавой. Мы все это видели. Видели, как он просто упал на спину на сцене. Мы слышали и видели всё! Он всегда нас впечатляет, но потом он приходит с чем-то (простым) и впечатляет нас снова, реализует это. И как это работает? Это действительно впечатляет даже меня. … (В этой песне) нет ничего технически выдающегося, но он безупречный, невероятный, супер-пупер в том, что он только что сделал. Это будет звучать, как в суде, но, кажется, что он включает немного автонастройки, если только он сам каким-то образом своим голосом не имитирует автонастройку своего собственного голоса. Определенно это звучит так. Если он имитирует автонастройку собственного голоса своим собственным голосом, то я забираю назад всё, что сказал раньше. Я снова совершенно поражен. Это очень, чрезвычайно сложно, и я должен просто заткнуться. Делая что-то настолько простое, но такое странное, Димаш произвел на меня впечатление в целом. Он поразил меня основами, которые даже не должны работать, но они работают как-то!!! Я в замешательстве. Мне нравится эта великолепная песня. Я люблю Димаша. Он невероятен. И в конце концов, он меня сшибает с ног с каждым своим выступлением, которое я слушаю. Когда же он остановится? Надеюсь, что он этого не сделает и будет продолжать в том же духе. Перевод субтитрами - это, конечно, кошмар)))) Можно выхватить лишь общий смысл того, что говорят реакционеры, без нюансов, которые, как правило, важнее общего смысла.
Я кстати, этого клипа раньше не видела, хотя песню слышала. И что-то подсказывает мне, что наложение видеоряда на аудио - дело рук любителей, которым показалось, что одно с другим будет неплохо смотреться и слушаться, поскольку совпадает по смыслу. И это действительно и смотрится, и слушается очень неплохо. Ну, не уверена, что права... Просто ощущения.
А песня очень красивая - пусть и без вокальной акробатики. Мэтью прав - она все равно в исполнении Димаша слушается прекрасно.

No, it’s auto tune lol. Humans can’t sound like that. It’s literally impossible with how humans are built as an organism. Bad production choice. Dimash is capable of doing all that without auto tune, and no auto tune would’ve sounded better. Producer made a big mistake on this one and if Dimash was producing it for himself, well I can tell it’s been almost 10 years.
Welcome back. I did request this song. One of his most beautiful vocal just pure vocal that leaves you speechless and mesmerized. Considering he did this when he was still very young. Younger that we all know him. No vocal acrobats, yet he continues to surprise us.

There’s tons of auto tune on his voice at the end tho. Like TONS of it. Like hiphop territory. I’m not calling him bad, as I think he really did those runs in the studio. The producer make a bad choice in the studio with all that auto tune because now it doesn’t even sound like Dimash and just sounds like a robot do it doesn’t even sound good. And don’t try to tell me “he’s just that good” because humans can’t sound that processed. Excessive auto tune in anything but rap and hip hop just doesn’t work well.

Yes, this Ukrainian song Я люблю только тебе was written by Олександр Пономарьов - Alexander Ponomarev. Dimash also sings the accompaniment (he sings the accompaniment in several of his songs). He sang the song more than three years ago - when he sang it he was 18 years old.

@@kenhamaker He sings in Ukrainian but does not speak. He has been speaking Russian since childhood. Ukrainian and Russian are quite similar Slavic languages.

No, it’s auto tune. For sure auto tune. I’m not just saying that because I do t believe he’s that good, I know what he can do. But in this case there way too much auto tune. The amount of auto tune they used in this song only sounds ok in hip hop/rap. In this song, eh. The producer just decided to put auto tune over what he probably did in the studio. It ends up just sounding awful and way too robotic. It’s impossible to sound like this live because humans don’t sound like robots, they sound like humans. Poor choice by the producer.

@@julieh.700 theres something called "lip syncing" he does it relatively often, which I dont blame him for because so many of his songs are extremely hard to perform, so singing them too much would take a toll on his vocal cords and he wouldnt be as good. He keeps getting better for a reason. Hes really good at keeping good technique.

His voice isnt perfect and there will never BE a perfect voice. There will never be a perfect anything. His voice is the way it is because he takes good care of it. He lip syncs. Accept it because youre dead wrong if you think he doesnt. He actually lip synced one of his most recent songs "Be With Me" at the Slavic Bazaar 2021. You can tell its lip synced because the audio is the exact same and there are up close clips of him during the performance where you cant hear HIM singing, only what theyre playing into the speakers, and guess what? Thats totally fine. No one cares if he does.

It would not surprise me if Dimash did back his own track, but you’re right... it feels very feminine. If you’ve listened to the Know Vocalise, you can tell that Dimash has the ability to do those R&B runs easily. He truly is phenomenal and this is a simple and beautiful piece.

I am sure that is Dimash, he does it all the time. I have seen this video several times. It is a little confusing, the story. He is amazing. I think the notes at the end are like he does the tribal type things he has done in some songs, like Sinful Passion, a vocal trill of some kind.
