:) Ah the songs of your youth are also the songs of my youth, I am enjoying listening to you sing and play so much. you and your music bring me such a big smiles when I seem to need it the most. Thank You.
Larry. This is one of those songs that can make you laugh and smile in the same minute..But, regardless of what expressions are made, people are going to be enjoying this song time and time again.I wish i were a chair at that table, sitting there drinking up your fine fine pieces of music.I always tell you, because it is SO true, your music collection is unique and so good..You do music in an original way that CAN'T be copied..I love the sound of your voice & the energy & style behind. it(cont'd)
(cont'd)....You just have real love for music and what it gives to you and you give it all to us...For that, we ARE so fortunate that you are here and that we get to share your great music.....There is nothing i can find better than being here with your sweet music....ione marie......btw: LOVE the whistling:))
I ve been subbed to you for a while and I grew up singing and playing to. Started in church and played in bands for the better part of 20 yrs but Ive just lost my motivation and don't play much anymore unless I'm drinking.Im in a kind of funk and bitter with the world I cant seem to get ahead anymore but I enjoy listening to you thanks....
Larry~Do you know what one of the finest things about your music is?~Well, that would be that it is You at your best, doing what you love~When you take that and the fine sounds that are here, you end up with music that is wanted more and more~ione marie~~and i still love your little whistleing bit there:)
Wow, thanks a lot for the posting. It's too bad that if you listen to radio these days you'd swear that Paul Simon wrote only two songs: Mrs Robinson and Bridge Over Troubled Water. It's great to hear this...well, let's say, more obscure offering.
I applaud you. Anyone playing it out there is something. Well done. You might try simplifying the guitar part a bit. to my ear it's just keeping the C then picking up the g on the high e. But my ear ain't nothing special.
Thanks for posting this! I've been playing this song for years myself...usually, nobody is familiar with it. Great rendition...I've like playing it on my J-45 also...or am I mistaken?
Well, if ten or fifteen people automatically dislike you, that means they have not a tiny hint of good taste within them. You know you are a great musician, so... go on, maestro!
Nice to feel your sense of humour, lol, maybe we should all hit the dislike button in solidarity of showing you our support. Peace from Long Island, NY.
great job.... really brought back memories....I use to do this and a bunch of S & G songs...when I was a kid.... Thanks for the memory......
