I've been listening to Larry for years, loved his Crystal Blue Persuasion rendition. Just happened to click on this video trying to find the last thing he posted. So sad reading the comments that he passed away a couple of years ago. He was an amazing musician, and defiantly inspired me to pick up the guitar, something I've always wanted to learn. Rest in peace brother, your music will go on🙏
I cannot believe I'm just finding out that Larry had passed. I had thought of him this morning and went to visit his UA-cam channel, and saw the comments on this, his last video...Larry was one of my biggest influences when I began making covers for UA-cam, to the point that some of my song covers were modeled after his. What a tremendous loss, but your legacy lives on Larry. RIP 😔
@@ToniMattTony yep, same here…a few day ago I went to his channel and boom! heart breaking I have listened to Larry for so many years, and am so grateful that he shared his time and talent with us
I just watched his cover of Walk On By, I love that song and was moved by his cover and wanted to see more. When I saw it was posted 10 years ago I was afraid to find this out...
I just “discovered” Larry L yesterday and became an instant fan. So sad to know that he’s gone. There’s so much I want to know about him and his life. He’s touched a lot of folks with his soulful covers. Massive talent and commitment. Rest In Peace, My Brother❤
Just found Larry today while going through acoustic covers of jim croce songs and was instantly hooked on the sound of his voice. Sad to learn he’s passed, rest in peace 🕊️
I was so afraid of this after fewer and fewer updates. 😔Discovered Larry several years ago and was hooked by his nuanced take on Wichita Lineman-Fmaj7 w open G, dropping the third, and B-flat-maj7, but again drop the octave-higher third to a sus2. Wow, just opened the song for me. You are missed, Larry, but thank you to those maintaining the channel. ❤
I just learned about Larry,s passing now at this very minute, it saddens me so much, as I,ve listened to him for the last ten years, Larry was such a bright and gentle man, and , also , a great artist that gave so much without asking anything in return. RIP Larry, you were one great musical friend to so many people.
I’m sad to hear of Larry’s passing. His cover of the Bee Gee’s “Fanny” is one of my favourite covers of all time. Even though he’s gone I’ll continue to come back to his channel to hear him sing that song over and over again. RIP Larry. Thank you for sharing your talent.
From the age of 16 until now, at the age of 29, you have inspired me, bought me joy, and even bought me to tears with some of your covers. I'm saddened to hear of your passing. Rest easy, Larry.
So sad to just now find out like some others. I used to listen to him a lot when I lived in Houston. Something was making me wonder how he was today, and now I know. RIP. You brought us lots of smiles, and great music covers in your own brilliant style. Condolences to his family.
Just learned today Larry has passed but he left us with his wonderful influence and love for music and guitar, never had the pleasure to meet you but please Rest In Peace bro
I just found out about Larry’s passing and I am so sad to hear about this. What an incredibly talented and gifted musician he was. Being a child of the 70's, I loved the music and the groups of that era, so I could really identify with Larry's music and his channel. I did not know him personally, but from listening to him play and hearing him speak, it was apparent that he loved bringing joy to all who listened to his music. His genuinely kind disposition, humility, and gentle nature, made him all the more engaging. So sad that he left this world, but through his channel, Larry's wonderful music, which was his true gift, will keep his memory and his legacy alive. Gone but not forgotten. RIP Larry! 💔🎼🙏
My dad just passed a month ago, i came here to make a comment hoping Larry would see it and i’m absolutely heartbroken to hear he has passed as well. will never forget you Larry, brought joy to so many people. my dad would always put your cover of “Traces” by Classics IV…it was beautiful, i can’t hear it without shedding a tear thinking of both of you :(
Life is so fragile. One day here and the next day gone. I have been following Larry for over a decade. He inspired me to take up self-taught music lessons when I was around 50 years old. Larry was so talented and truly a human jukebox. RIP, Larry. You will be missed by all your fans and many others.

I am both sad and shocked to hear about the passing of Larry. I was a fan of Larry ever since his old podline6 channel. Through Larry's covers I have come to learn many overlooked classics, he was the one who introduced me to Elvis Costello and the "true" Bee Gees and probably others I can't remember at the top of my head. I also picked some guitar tricks by mimicking his style of playing. Though we never interacted with each other, his voice touched and inspired me. Dear Larry, I know how much music played a huge role in your life and maybe it was your entire life. I remember the video where you expressed your frustration with how you couldn't keep up musically compared to your musical heroes, but please know that you did play a great part of my musical memories. You are one of my personal music heroes and I deeply regret not telling you that while you were still alive to hear it. RIP Larry, thank you for all the great music.
Oh my God I can't believe what I am reading. I am so distraught to hear about Larry's passing. Oh Larry you made my life so happy all these more than ten years with your music, and your kindness you were so nice to me. I just can't believe it. You will always be in my heart
So sorry to hear we lost a legend. I’ve followed this page for over a decade and the Ludman brought me nothing but smiles. Everyone wishes that Larry Lud was their neighbor. Thank you for all the years of your genuine love for music.
RIP Larry. I never knew you personally but your renditions of You've Got A Friend, Time In A Bottle and other popular oldies brightened up my college days back in the early 2010s, and your passion in music was just astounding and infectious. I learned a lot from you during my formative years as a musician. Thank you for all the inspiration and music in the last decade - you will be missed 🙏🙏

As time went on I forgot and stopped watching. Today I went into my old subscriptions for a nostalgia trip and found this video, only to find Larry has passed. Larry was an early UA-cam star and could cover every song so well. It was obvious that he enjoyed singing and playing very much. I hadn’t seen him doing anything recently and wondered about him. I found his video about his life, and had me in tears because he could have been describing much of my own life, in many ways..Then I found his "Now and Then" series, and his wonderful band, "Feather", and his extremely talented lead singer Shari..Does anyone know if she still sings out?..What a wonderful voice!..They harmonized so well together, too..In his video about his life he seemed to think he somehow didn't make it, which brought tears to his eyes..I almost got angry with him 'cause I couldn't tell him how wrong he was!...He made it, and then some, bringing so much love and joy to the world!..I took him for granted, but from now on whenever I'm feeling down I'll just throw on a "Larry Video"...RIP, my friend.
