This video is all about what to do when you are not able to scan your BRP chip using iPhone. Also I have shown the way to perfectly scan the BRP chip.

Visa application fees = 715 pounds

Hi , which side of the camera should we use to scan the chip? I mean front side? Where we take selfies?? Or back camera?

Hi, I got same problem, can you please help me how to book an appointment at a Visa Application Centre (VAC) or a UK Visa and Citizenship Application Services (UKVCAS) service point.
The you shown as Chip is not the chip. That just shows that the BRP Card has a chip.

Thank you. I was getting frustrated already until I stumbled on your video as I tried six times. I had to place the chip right in front of the iPhone and it got verified once. However, I didn’t have to move the phone but just made it still. Thanks alot

Hi! How did you put your iPhone over the BRP? Did you put the iPhone camera over the chip?
@@charlinenuflo6646 yes I did. Make sure you clean the camera first before using it. And also clean the chip (not a harsh cleaning). Then place the card On a flat surface, afterwards, take your phone and place the camera over it. You do not necessarily have to love the card
where is chip in new brp cards? front side or back side? chip is hidden.

You can ask any of your friends having android with NFC to scan your chip of BRP

I tried many times with my iPhone 13 and it didn’t happen. I tried the next time with an Android phone and the app worked in the first attempt . Thankyou very much for the suggestion

Try putting the chip symbol on the front side facing upwards and put it front side of the phone ( on screen) with chip in right top corner ( try adjusting slightly until you get full signal strength where it will say accessing chip with full bars progressing(###########)

Actually my frd application is completed for psw but for the final step it is showing to book an appointment ( due they have selected passport option in the beginning step of the application) is there any chance or alternative option other than appointment.

Only BRP holders who receive an email invitation need to take action at this stage. If you have not yet been contacted about creating an account, you’ll be able to create your account and access your eVisa later in 2024.

Do not go for appointment option it will charge you more pounds , instead try from any android phone to scan the chip, and you can apply till the last day of your visa

It varies for everyone, in my case I got visa confirmation email in 7 days and after 2 days got BRP card at home

Very helpful.. I have tried from iPhone 13 pro max and it shows me the same. Chip not found. When I attempted with android phone chip got access in one attempt. Highly recommend this 💯 Thankyou for making a video on this it was damn helpful!

@@henriettaumeh5717 She is trying to say scanning brp chip is done quickly from Samsung or any android phone as it has straight cameras in one line … while iPhone as 3 camera but aren’t in straight line which is making it tough for brp chip to scan.

Hello is there any chance if the identity is confirmed but due to the photo is not clear or BRP picture is not clear something like that do we need to go for finger prints again or if once confirmed in app and its done no need to worry?
If your BRP chip is scanned in app , no need to worry about then

Keep your Brp on flat surface such as on table and then keep your camera of phone on chip and slowly move it and make sure you scan with android phone with NFC if didn’t work with iPhone
