I love Sam being like “Oh Yeah Caps and Rekkles didn’t say anything bad” - Caps literally made an entire video about why Fnatic is a dumpster fire and why he was leaving.
For reference, the times I could find Caps mentioned reasons for leaving FNC: ua-cam.com/video/ltQlIdlC5Do/v-deo.html . Explaining overall mentality / work ethic. ua-cam.com/video/8uAkbkp-Mnc/v-deo.html In the second one especially, he reiterates again and again.. "We had a lot of problems as a team.. Of course, he being new at the LEC, didn't want to talk openly about the subject to not burn bridges with other organizations. Now we know FNC has been a toxic environment for almost a decade.
FYI: Caps and Rekkles both had the issue with fnatic not working on improving themselves and the players, Rekkles had an issue with fnc acting in his face and not telling him that they decided to bench him, only when he left for home he got a call saying he is benched (the very next day).
Rekkles had an issue with everyone (and vice-versa). If you have an issue with literally everyone it means you're the problem (not the rest of the world) and you can't be taken seriously because what you say doesn't hold enough weight, no matter how right you might be in some instance.
@@KristinaBlabla well thats just not true. Players like Broxah, Nemesis, Wunder, Hylli still speak highly of him. The problem is that Rekkles sees his job purely as a job. After working hours he likes to spend his time the way he wants. This mentality collided with players who like to hang out after working hours (like the G2 roster he was in). I feel thats also a reason why he went to t1a since in countries like Korea, they have a complete other work- mentality that suits Rekkles his personality more
@@KristinaBlablaTons of players liked Rekkles. He had issues on G2 and most of that was because he lived separate from the team and had conflicting ideas on how to play the game (All the crap Striker said about him was basically a lie or blown out of proportion because he was angry he got fired). Fnatic were dysfunctional AF. Everything Rekkles said, Caps and Bwipo both said as well.
@@PeoplePleaser578 no idea what striker said about rekkles, was talking about other players which would no doubt say a lot more but can't or won't because they don't want the drama/have contracts that prevent it. i mean, when the entire team and coaches agree on how to play the game/work together/shift things when needed and you can't come to terms with not being the center of the universe all the time and forcefully keep pulling things to your side when it's not in the best interest of anyone and even when it visibly doesn't work and then ruin games/matches/competitions/work enviroment? sounds like a huge-ass issue to me work-wise, relationship-wise, everything-wise. I don't disagree that Fnc was/is dysfunctional, just that when rekkles says/said it, it's hard to believe considering his behavior in a team setting and huge-ass ego. bwipo's word will either be credible or not depending on what he says about his own performance in worlds and how he goes on about it. caps I can believe since he never had any drama and talks level-headed even when it's not scripted.
what you said can be like "oh, shame he doesn't wanna hang out after" but that definitely wasn't the reason why players said he was hard to work with and other things about his character. just replied to someone a couple of minutes ago so that'd be my answer to you as well, check it out if you're curious.
3:50 I do actually think that if your coaching staff is incompetent like this you should put them on blast, privately and publicly. Otherwise you keep things underwraps and nothing will ever change or improve. „Calling them out“ which jun did mildly will lead to fans pressuring the team like in this twitter thread and force the team to change or atleast respond and acknowledge the situation. It is pretty fucked if they plan on banning yone and then last second ON STAGE decide against it without previously informing their players.
Nah, this is true if they were already out of the tournament, but keep in mind they still are competing in Worlds and now all the chances of FNC somehow making it out of swiss are gone. The atmosphere must be unbearable right now within the team even though they try to act chill.
Not to mention Jun's been out of korea for about 10 months, English isn't his first language so publically blasting them probably isnt something he would feel comfortable doing.
@@steven-xb7rf tbh they should do what professional athletes do during big tournaments and not go on social media, then they wouldn't (they would still have an idea) know the the extent of the heat in the back. They could focus on the job at hand. Also FNC's chances aren't gone, I understand why you say that but there is still a chance lol. As for OP, I disagree, I don't think there is a need to call them out. You're not paid for that. You signed up to FNC, do your time and hop to a new team, FNC should learn when no-one wants to sign for them, but still there is just professionalism to stick to.

@@PassivesAbseits That might have been a mistake, but from what I've heard he mainly got offered from desperate orgs since he was borderline blacklisted by FNC doing esports petty politics
I still have no issues on Jun's comment even if not properly translated fully. I feel if this is what happened can understand his frustration, and yeah you def need to ban Yone against Creme. Sure he criticized the coaching staff, but he didnt pull a dardoch in terms of flaming his team.
I’m not even a FNC fan and I’ve been over this team forever. My buddy is a diehard fan and they just keep letting him down, I can’t even rub it in his face anymore because it’s just sad lmao.
As a FNC fan that just can't let that last speck of hope die, I can tell you that the only certainty about FNC is that they will always fumble at critical points.
@@Jack_Rakan that's the trend for the past years. On their early years they still fumbled a lot but they somehow always found a solution & clawed their way back from the grave. Not the case anymore sadly
been fan of this org since 2014, i had pleasure watching them when they ruled over europe and made 2 worlds semifinals. saw lows like season 6 when they didnt even qualify for worlds, or winter split season 13 when they were so shit they havent made playoffs first time in org history. with this years msi loss to team liqiud they have lost their first series to na team first time in org history. not to mention the ridiculous losses to g2 in split finals, or many series where they led 2-0 just to lose 3-2. in earlier days the org always found replacements for the leaving players. season 1 team won worlds > season 2 they do bad > season 3 good new team > season 4 same team > season 5 good new team > season 6 they do bad > season 7 they kinda do bad > season 8 good new team > season 9 nemesis for caps after season 9 something has changed in this org and it looks like fnatic lost its soul or whatever u wanna call it. this org has always found way to build up a new team and be successful, now at this rate i feel like im not gonna see fnatic win another split in a near future what this org needs is to hire a spy and look how a real, good organized team like g2 is being handled. the day caps chose to join g2 was the day fnatic got doomed. letting the best player not only in the role, but in the whole region go, has cost them next 5 years of 0 splits won. how do u let that happen, when back in 2018, when caps left for g2, fnatic was still the most decorated eu org? as caps said himself, g2 had better perspectives to let him win international trophies - this right here lets people know that something within the fnatic is rotten and needs to be changed. fast forward 5 years since caps left, fnatic havent won 1 split since his departure, and they are trying to win lec with korean import botlane, when fnatic never in their history had import botlane. they had amazing success with import huni and reignover going undefeated split during summer 2015 and reaching semifinals at worlds that year, but these imports were one in a lifetime jackpots, that left the org when the season ended anyway. what this org needs is to give up on import botlane and look for regional talents from lec teams. the whole team needs to be restructurized, and if it was up to me i would only leave razork. humanoid had enough time to prove himself the last 3 years and its time to say goodbye. import botlane doesnt work good for the whole team communication. oscar just isnt it. build the team, starting with razork, looking for talented players in the lec.
The issue is there isn't much better available that isnt already contrated. A lot of people say that the Razork/Humanoid combo has run its course and needs a new midlaner. But who? Jackies is with GX, Larseen is with Rogue and anyone else wouldnt be a side-grade at best. Do you want to try and get Perkz and give him another shot given his disastrous last few years? The sad part is that its already been leaked that Fnatic is resigning Oscarinin for 2 more years. Im sorry but if you have a 4K gold lead on renekton and you still look invisible in a game makes you not the best player. Any Asian toplaner in that position takes over that game. I dont even like them but Brokenblade or Adam would take over the game with that kind of lead. Oscar is not the player to be building around but Dardo and Fnatic management seem to think otherwise.
Yeah, I feel the same... I'm so mad I liked FNC more than I liked Caps when he switched. I'd have been a G2 fan and life would be good. Now I have to watch Dardo and co massacre my boys year after year.
One of the most important factors is Dardo, the LoL team manager. I have no idea how that guy still has a job. I think losing Caps was defo the biggest mistake, but hiring Dardo. There was even questionmarks when he got hired and he still has his job, that's insanity to me. Don't get me wrong, Nightshare looks like a good envoirment coach and I would like to keep him, just only as 2nd or 3rd in command as a coach. Personally from the drafts I've seen of how slow we are at picking stuff up, (like Humanoid pretty much just started playing Yone whilst the champ was being played throughout summer) And Oscar looks like a MagiFelix project sadly. I don't get how we have 2 of the arguable best soloq players in their roles, being this shit on stage. This surely has to be a Fnatic envoirment thing. (obviously there are massive differences in soloq to actual proplay, but when you are the literal undisputed best soloq player the west have ever seen "magifelix" no shot, you can't work in a team. I personally don't have a problem with import bot, I just think Noah needs more time, and sadly us in Fnatic kinda need results pretty soon. My dream scenario is getting Smash from T1 academy to pair up with Jun. Replace Humanoid with maybe Jackies or someone else talented. Give Oscar a last chance unless you can find a clear upgrade elsewhere (maybe Adam back but idk about that one, but he is teamless now) and obviously keep the best player Razork
The worst part about this attitude from Fnatic and from many western orgs is that professionalism only matters when it's something that reflects poorly on management. Players can ignore each other, can ignore their coach, can go behind each others backs or suck up to management, they can goof around in scrims, they can throw teammates under the bus on twitter, none of that matter, but god forbid they say one thing that makes management look bad, then it's a whole intervention and apology and it's unacceptable behaviour. These people are the worst paycheck stealers, they give less than a shit about the team environment or performance, and only intervene when a player makes them look bad, they don't want anybody to know what coaching and management actually do behind close doors because that way they can keep the deniability which they use as a shield to protect their jobs.
Agree with Dom here. Unironically, and speaking from first hand experience FNC fans today are pretty much CLG fans 2 years ago. Either you're flat out delusional, or you are one of the true die hards who just accept that their team is shit right now, like trad sports fans cheering their local team regardless of success
Also good luck getting a new job when you’re openly talking shit about your last one. Employers or teams in this case don’t want that kind of brand risk.
I think in the corporate chart of fnatic there is a line that says something that's more or less "if there is no drama by the end of each of your worlds runs, the org has to disband" or something
Im pretty sure I've got Stockholm Syndrome as a FNC LOL fan. I live in Oceania so I have to wake up at 3AM to watch these games and I watch all of them, the cope I need to keep doing this is crazy
did bro actually say there hasnt been any drama in fnatic since 2019 @7:16 or am i misunderstanding the tweet? because if thats what he is saying that might be the most delusional comment i have ever seen, Fnatic has been nothing but drama.
Right, leaving up yone could’ve been fine if you had a draft plan like Fly with players who play those champs. Or something similar, but fanatic doesn’t play late game teams and doesn’t play the necessary champs to punish the yone give.
6:12 i love being a T1 fan sure they might feel "hopeless" for lck but we know all roads lead to them in the end :D we can cope has hard has we want has we can trust they have a chance to do it FNC i feel is like watching a burring boring house trying to keep a image of a pristine penthouse xD
6:00 as an old FNC ( 2012-2018) i can confirm that the only reason im keep fallowing the team is because of the good old days, its so blatantly that the couching staff and environment and FNC has been extremely dysfunctional for years now. As someone how been ranked in the top 1% in league for over a decade now im getting the feeling that any success that this team has found in recent times is when the players themselves individually popped off. While the systematic approach to the game has been fundamentally "wrong" . And lets not talk about their drafts, out of all major regions FNC has had the biggest amount criminally bad drafts, to the point people unaffiliated to the them would be able to come up with better drafts on the spot.
More of a problem is that the managment are stuck in 2013 and think that just the name Fnatic is enought but reality is that the bus is away the team needs money and someone else then Dardo. Liky people can shit on nightshare but he came when noone wanted and in 2 splits we were back at top of EU teams. Still the coaching stuff needs more then 2 people and for me it would be best that we got 5 people that can speak english then again some good koreans with bad english.
Dom thanks for rolling it up again. I've been a Fnatic fan for 13 years. I have not only supported the team live but also bought merch. So yes you can really call me a fan. The disintegration just came with Cap's departure. But what I find much more frightening is that Dardo wasn't even there yet. That means Caps is really telling the truth that there was a problem in the management before. Means for me, what I didn't realize before, not only Dardo is a Huge Problem, Sam Matthews too. I find it scary how you can burn 18 players and 15 coaches/analysts in fking 5 years! So as a Fnatic fan I just don't know what to say anymore. I'm really lost for words. And it's logical that the whole LEC is making fun of us. Especially g2 fans like how shitty Fnatic has become. Yes, that's all I can say. It's frustrating and at the same time simply disrespectful how players, coaches and us as fans are treated.
As a Fnatic fan, if you want to see something funny, see the series where we threw the 2-0 against TES and the most recent ones. 5 completely different players yet over forcing plays left and right in both cases
Imagine where FNC started in league esports - and where its now... an absolute horror; I was a fan way back then, the org seemed to care about their players and about getting better - sure stuff didnt always work out, but thats just how it is. Many orgs/teams suffered a lot from the gradual shift from a fun player focused environment of the early seasons - NA with TSM CLG rivalries and the players being 99% of what the team is. To this now multi million dollar companies being managed by people who dont know what a caster minion is... which is natural - but this sterilization just sucks especially for orgs/teams that had so much ridding on their personalities and their image based on that. FNC in the xpeke, huni, rekkless, cyanide days was more focused on the game and doing well then now where "sure a win is nice but how is the stock value?". Thats a big part about how the league esports becomes less appealing, add to that that many pros are also just boring, sure its not their job to be fun and entertaining, but personality was a core part of the fun of early league esports. With all of that going well for FNC for years, having Rekkles, one of the most liked players as their face - they had it all... and now this; Poor play - some of the players are liked NOW but we all remember when people wanted them all sacked a year ago. The management is poor, disliked and ineffective at dealing with anything. Its a miracle and mostly based on the total collapse of the LEC players that they are even doing so well in their region, with all these burdens and issues. Far from performing or cultivating progression or even a positive image in the scene. FNC is just carried by 1. the boomer fans that still hope for the wonders of S5 or S8 and 2. their standing in the esport scene and all the connection and money they have. Very sad this could be so much more... maybe someday, lets not have a TSM or CLG part 3.
FNC not banning Creme's Yone and G2 nnot banning Bin's Jax is just pure ego from EU On the other hand BLG banned Hans-sama's Draven for example. So asian's team respect our strength but EU teams which are obviously worst than asians just have too much ego to accept it and disrespect them by thinking "we are better". Spoiler alert : you are not when you let them play their best champs
It's actually insane that the coaching staff pulled such a stunt at the world championship. Don't they have some kind of meeting before the game where they go over the potential strategies and drafts that's going to be used. That's actually the bare minimum that you would expect from your coaching team. This includes communicating said strategies to the players and making sure everyone is on the same page.
lol fnatic players always had potential but it always felt like they were always mismanaged, we especially see that when looking how some fnatic players performed way better after leaving fnatic, caps and wunder for example, they went to G2 and holy shit they did good back then
Been a fan since 2015. Fnatic is a name that has ambition to challenge internationally. We all know a worlds win is a bit far out for the west as a whole, but 2018 and 2019 happened. We’ve played good and close series before even if we usually end up short If current fnc were to win the next LEC split I’d have no faith in EU internationally. The way fnatic is currently run there’s no way they beat G2 unless G2 implodes. Losing to G2 more often than not is ok. Not being at the top anymore is ok. But the name Fnatic demands to fight for the top in europe, and right now it ain’t really a fight and hasn’t been for a hot minute
Idk if you can bet about pick and bans but that could be one of the reason they changed the draft last minute. It’s not like this never happened at Worlds. It happened quite recently with a PCS team
This is just twitter doing reddit cosplay flipping over something that was clearly staged as a joke. like jun is fine. everyone is fine. everyone gotta stfu
Based fan haha, I knew Fnatic was doomed as soon as Dardo was in charge, remember Origen? it was a fantastic team until Dardo came along, Idk how he has kept his job during all these years :V
@6:26 the thing is that's quite normal in other sports. Arsenal gained a lot of fans back in 04 because of the invisibles. Man united got a lot of fans from the 90s and 10s. So did Chelsea. man city are gaining fans now (if you think they will be the best team for the rest of time, you're delusional.) so it's pretty normal to fall in love with a team and stick with them during the bad times.
At least United had the most succesful 20 years in British football history... What has fnatic ever done in League other then winning the most fraudulent Worlds ever and getting shit stomped by iG in 2018??
FNC does way too much changes for an esports org and the one in charge is too silly. Like historically letting go Deilor, Dylan Falco, YoungBack, Caps, Rekkles to G2, Nemesis, Bwipo, Upset, all of them key players or staff at one point, a lot of them left cuz bad team environment or seeking other opportunities that should've been given to them, it was always bad. The current team is good but the issues have been like this for a long time and they still haven't figured it out, surely they won't let Razork or Jun go the next season right? Or change the entire roster
Sam Matthew’s (Fnatics owner) defending Dardo and pretending nothing is wrong and every player who has ever left just wasn’t good enough and it was nothing to do with management. Random dude on Twitter wrote 23 tweets and brought evidence to show Sam was full of it.
If you were still a FNC fan after the upset/adam thing, regardless of which side you're on, you had to have accepted that as a FNC fan, you don't matter to them. Enjoy.
Most of the tweets I see aren't even from actual Fnatic fans, they're mostly G2 fans who take every opportunity to throw shit around. Most Fnatic fans just want this shit to die out, it's not even that big of a deal it's just a fucking ban. Maybe it was a mistake not to ban Yone, maybe it was a miscommunication issue. Whatever, they still played like thrash I don't think the Yone ban would've changed that.
Its actually fair for most calassic era teams - fnatic, tsm, clg, dignitas, etc. They rise up as a teams on a talent of individual players, but was unable to transform "team" into an organizations with proper running proceses inside. Basicly, since golden rosters of that era gone, they just milk their name while slowly degradate. (or, actually, just not evolving from garage type of buisness)
And this Fnatic team is pretty good.. they just need good leadership and coaching.. they demolished G2 but threw 3 fcking games in a row.. they were winning in all those 3 games until one throw happened and they lose.. the player talents is there.. this is a good team.. but the leadership is lacking so hard... That's the issue of coaching and not the players..
All I know is that fnatic is joking about it with that video to pretend like that's not what actually happened, that kind of psychological games won't work
FNC been a joke org ever since they let caps walk to G2, i would even argue that it was even before that but that was such an aggregious decision that it literally changed the course of europe and the ORG that was clearly the greatest in the west, now its a joke, i would even say that TSM and FNC are on the same level as a joke org, the fall from grace is crazy to watch
I mean they didn’t really have a choice - Caps didn’t want to sign a contract. Caps walked when his contract ended. The rest I agree with. Fnatic is a terrible organisation management wise.
Doesn't this just show in what a terrible state the LEC is compared to the eastern regions, if a Team like fnatic in a state like this, with this much drama going on, is still the 2nd best Team in Europe?
Nah. Its just shows, that if u once become a big name, u'r able to milk sponsors and funs for the next 10+ years, while solving all problems by throwing money into new players and simulating activity. Was unable to organaze basic working process inside own buisness, but was able to grab the cash riding known brand.
The thing is nothing he said was incorrect… Sam is directing flame and pretending nothing is wrong when everyone can see that things are wrong (Not to mention countless players talking about how dysfunctional Fnatic are management wise).
I’m in that position with FNC started watching in 2016 summer and they were shit so the did a huge rebuild around Rekkles bringing young EU players in like Caps and got better and better over multiple years and genuinely could or maybe should have won worlds but they completely chocked in the final. Once my favourite players like Rekkles and Caps left I was fucked didn’t want to support another team so I’m stuck with this shit they then bring back Rekkles and even tho he struggled they threw out their legendary ADC not giving him a decent team or chance to show his worth form is temporary class is permanent and he get thrown out like he meant nothing to the fans or history of the region and team literally being the greatest ADC in the regions history, It’s all management and the coaches FNC is being ran by imbeciles who don’t want to win I would implode everything after worlds and restart the whole LoL operations from scratch.
I can't be bothered with this anymore. In the entire history of both western leagues, as soon as we have a strong roster for world stage, it immediately gets sold for profits of team managers. Every. Single. Time. We never won anything internationally but we could have numerous times. CLG was insane at one point, disbanded. FNC was insane at one point, disbanded. G2 was insane at one point, disbanded. C9 was insane at one point, disbanded. I don't even care at this point...
I dont think the case with G2 2019 was anything to do with bad team management. Those players had played with each other for so many years and it had naturally run it's course. Perkz wanted to go back to playing mid, which obviously meant he had to go to a different team. Wunder didnt really perform like he did around 2017 - 2019 again. Mikyx was in a major slump.
g2 didn't really disband though. 2019 roster collapsed, because perkz didn't want to play adc anymore. They're kinda the only ones really trying i feel.
How to destroy an org by Sam matthews. Today Fnc is really bad. G2 Kinda destroy them year after year, even with rookies in roster. Unless a lot of things change in Fnatic they never gonna win LEC.

FNC are literally turning into eu TSM. Wormwood is 100% correct in everything they're saying it's actually disgusting how Sam and Dardo can run the entire org into the ground without taking any accountability. Players like Noah, Nisqy, Jun etc. have all mentally from it. I would not be surprised if the issues listed influenced Upset's decision to not go to World.
I cannot fathom why Dardo still has a job. 6 years of absolute mediocrity with ZERO results. GMs in any other sport get fired for much less.
I like to think he got his job through nepotism
What to expect from an org that got its CEO from AliExpress, its team director from Wish and its coaching staff from Temu?

Yeah, even if you do the pain is miniscule compared to what this team already did to their own fans
Not the case anymore sadly
been fan of this org since 2014, i had pleasure watching them when they ruled over europe and made 2 worlds semifinals. saw lows like season 6 when they didnt even qualify for worlds, or winter split season 13 when they were so shit they havent made playoffs first time in org history. with this years msi loss to team liqiud they have lost their first series to na team first time in org history. not to mention the ridiculous losses to g2 in split finals, or many series where they led 2-0 just to lose 3-2.
in earlier days the org always found replacements for the leaving players. season 1 team won worlds > season 2 they do bad > season 3 good new team > season 4 same team > season 5 good new team > season 6 they do bad > season 7 they kinda do bad > season 8 good new team > season 9 nemesis for caps
after season 9 something has changed in this org and it looks like fnatic lost its soul or whatever u wanna call it. this org has always found way to build up a new team and be successful, now at this rate i feel like im not gonna see fnatic win another split in a near future
what this org needs is to hire a spy and look how a real, good organized team like g2 is being handled. the day caps chose to join g2 was the day fnatic got doomed. letting the best player not only in the role, but in the whole region go, has cost them next 5 years of 0 splits won.
how do u let that happen, when back in 2018, when caps left for g2, fnatic was still the most decorated eu org?
as caps said himself, g2 had better perspectives to let him win international trophies - this right here lets people know that something within the fnatic is rotten and needs to be changed.
fast forward 5 years since caps left, fnatic havent won 1 split since his departure, and they are trying to win lec with korean import botlane, when fnatic never in their history had import botlane.
they had amazing success with import huni and reignover going undefeated split during summer 2015 and reaching semifinals at worlds that year, but these imports were one in a lifetime jackpots, that left the org when the season ended anyway.
what this org needs is to give up on import botlane and look for regional talents from lec teams. the whole team needs to be restructurized, and if it was up to me i would only leave razork. humanoid had enough time to prove himself the last 3 years and its time to say goodbye. import botlane doesnt work good for the whole team communication. oscar just isnt it.
build the team, starting with razork, looking for talented players in the lec.
Tell me where you finds talents nowadays in EU XD I can think only of Jackies and hes stuck in GX
I would so happily take a year or two of rebuilding, maybe even missing worlds, of that means a genuine restructuring and rebuild
Personally from the drafts I've seen of how slow we are at picking stuff up, (like Humanoid pretty much just started playing Yone whilst the champ was being played throughout summer)
And Oscar looks like a MagiFelix project sadly.
Give Oscar a last chance unless you can find a clear upgrade elsewhere (maybe Adam back but idk about that one, but he is teamless now)
and obviously keep the best player Razork
6:10 is still the reason why I'm rooting for fnc. It hurts but I keep on coping every year in hopes that it gets better

That makes you insane and delusional. Congratulations!
@@slitzitv2875 That makes you insane and delusional. Congratulations!
Aye, bring on the rollar coaster
Unironically, and speaking from first hand experience
FNC fans today are pretty much CLG fans 2 years ago. Either you're flat out delusional, or you are one of the true die hards who just accept that their team is shit right now, like trad sports fans cheering their local team regardless of success
We need more players that call out horrible coaching publicly. The wishy washy bullshit helps no one
Yes but the caveat being when fans start speculating with that lol
Also good luck getting a new job when you’re openly talking shit about your last one. Employers or teams in this case don’t want that kind of brand risk.
I think in the corporate chart of fnatic there is a line that says something that's more or less "if there is no drama by the end of each of your worlds runs, the org has to disband" or something
wait till they see oscar renewing for 2 more years
Im pretty sure I've got Stockholm Syndrome as a FNC LOL fan. I live in Oceania so I have to wake up at 3AM to watch these games and I watch all of them, the cope I need to keep doing this is crazy
Bro honestly it's not worth it to wake up at 3am to watch esports
I mean as far as the "name ONE organization" claim, TSM.
But still, that's 🔥
did bro actually say there hasnt been any drama in fnatic since 2019 @7:16 or am i misunderstanding the tweet?
because if thats what he is saying that might be the most delusional comment i have ever seen, Fnatic has been nothing but drama.
No that is what he said. That’s what he says every year that there is no drama and the whole thing is made up by “bad players” who got replaced.
upset and adam just 2 yearsago right?
Right, leaving up yone could’ve been fine if you had a draft plan like Fly with players who play those champs. Or something similar, but fanatic doesn’t play late game teams and doesn’t play the necessary champs to punish the yone give.
I was not aware about the fact that nightshare is Freeze's twin.
With all of that going well for FNC for years, having Rekkles, one of the most liked players as their face - they had it all... and now this;
Poor play - some of the players are liked NOW but we all remember when people wanted them all sacked a year ago.
FNC not banning Creme's Yone and G2 nnot banning Bin's Jax is just pure ego from EU
On the other hand BLG banned Hans-sama's Draven for example. So asian's team respect our strength but EU teams which are obviously worst than asians just have too much ego to accept it and disrespect them by thinking "we are better".
Spoiler alert : you are not when you let them play their best champs
6:00 Dom straight up just described me.
I watch and I don't even cheer that much vs a good team, I am just waiting for them to lose.
It's actually insane that the coaching staff pulled such a stunt at the world championship. Don't they have some kind of meeting before the game where they go over the potential strategies and drafts that's going to be used. That's actually the bare minimum that you would expect from your coaching team. This includes communicating said strategies to the players and making sure everyone is on the same page.
lol fnatic players always had potential but it always felt like they were always mismanaged, we especially see that when looking how some fnatic players performed way better after leaving fnatic, caps and wunder for example, they went to G2 and holy shit they did good back then
As someone who was a fanatic fan i just jumped the g2 train when caps left and rekkles after. Thank god lmao
Been a fan since 2015. Fnatic is a name that has ambition to challenge internationally. We all know a worlds win is a bit far out for the west as a whole, but 2018 and 2019 happened. We’ve played good and close series before even if we usually end up short
If current fnc were to win the next LEC split I’d have no faith in EU internationally.
(tin foil hat on) I'm sure some people would pay good money to see fnc leave Yone open. Especially if they then bet against them.

Nah
FNC does way too much changes for an esports org and the one in charge is too silly. Like historically letting go Deilor, Dylan Falco, YoungBack, Caps, Rekkles to G2, Nemesis, Bwipo, Upset, all of them key players or staff at one point, a lot of them left cuz bad team environment or seeking other opportunities that should've been given to them, it was always bad. The current team is good but the issues have been like this for a long time and they still haven't figured it out, surely they won't let Razork or Jun go the next season right? Or change the entire roster

It takes a really poorly managed org to make fnatic fans seem reasonable

There can only be one winner and honestly in the LEC that winner is called caps - you can move every other piece around as much as you wish but no mid laner can stand vs caps and so no team can stand vs G2, all the good players want to play with caps (Perkz roll swapped to get him, Rekless left FNC for him,..) - caps is the vortex of western league, the LEC doesn’t have all that much talent to begin with and what talent there is he sucks into G2, wins nearly every split and every other team is considered a failure and have to try new things to keep fans happy
Nemesis didn’t retire because of bad management, he could have gone anywhere else but he realised he wasn’t as good as caps back then and besides there wasn’t enough talent in LEC to compete with caps outside of FNC - G2 purposely broke apart talent further with contract jails - caps and G2’s dominance essentially destroyed any real competition for years by making one competitive mid retire retire due to lack of overall available talent and role swapping another before shipping him off to NA - now we have no mids left outside humanoid and yeah all teams suck..big surprise
Teams are trying to build and rebuild just to challenge G2 but there is no mid laner who can do that so it’s bound to fail
There was simply no hope so he'd rather unwind with his family than be miserable for 1-2 months and flamed for 'underperforming' in a grief environment.

You can do a very long message but you have to pay 😅
Twitter has a character limit for every tweet, thats why I think
FNC doesn't deserve the LEC. Send em to Turkey
