How could prophecy be fir today when you agree the cannon is closed? The word prophecy means speak forth, meaning speak the word tj others.. God does not speak to anyone directly his word speaks to us...

God wouldn’t miss - if you were “prophesying” then you would be right every time; nobody is prophesying - all of that is coming from man.
I agree 100% with the gentlemen in the black there are no more revelation. Just test all things like the bible saids. Many who say they are prophets speak in general.

Can mechanic build a house alone? If the Lord uses someone to express or warn his will , weigh it amongst the elders and get in the Word of God.

We know who’s right and wrong because his word is the standard. Prophecy is in the church today. But people will get it wrong at times. That’s ok. It doesn’t cause doubt in my mind about what has already established in the word.
Once a person comes to understand the New Covenant promised to Israel and Judah in Jeremiah 31:31-34, which is found fulfilled by Christ during the first century in Hebrews 8:6-13, and Hebrews 10:16-18, and specifically applied to the Church in 2 Corinthians 3:6-8, and Hebrews 12:22-24, man-made Bible doctrines fall apart.
To Jay; The same as when you were caught in adultery you were stone in the Old Testament but now we are under His Grace and not stoning, of course, His Grace has always been.
There are no more prophets
What do you do with the gift of prophecy in 1 Corinthians 14? No where in The Bible does it say this gift, is taken away. But I do believe it is being abused.
John the baptist was the last prophet in the bible. Those aren't my words; those are the words that Jesus spoke!

Question : i was asked to pray for a couple as i have the gift of prophecy. Whilst praying for them i saw a vision of a huge vault in heaven open up for them and money falling out, i even gave a time 2 weeks. And saw them ministering in 4 African countries. Well not knowing their situation they were thinking about missionary work in Africa and needed financial support. 2 weeks later they received funding and joined missions in Africa.... Nothing ia impossible for God our Father.

Nah I don’t think so Amigo. Remember what the Bible says about false prophets. One thing is, Don’t fear them if their prophecies don’t come to pass. Don’t believe them any longer.There is no gray area with that. That’s plain scripture.There are no excuses. And I hope you are not one who worships Trump as if he was a God or something. But, anyway,everything is on track with the Lord’s plans. Things are going straight downhill. Remember the scene has to be set for the antichrist to come in order to “fix things”. I think all of those people spoke out of their soul and own self desires instead of from God’s Spirit . If they were correct, they would have prophesied events accurately that took place regarding the election. For example, he’s going to lose and then he’s going to win. But no. that did not happen.Even though true prophets prophesy in part and know impart,Together they would’ve gotten an accurate word from the Lord and communicated what the Lord was really saying.

@@adailydose7196 amen! I agree! I fell into the prophecy thing and all the prophet saying Trump was going to win. When he didn’t I was so crushed. Now I think those profits are all fake and just in it for the money. I follow Jesus and I follow God and my Bible.
@@truthseekerjen6254 with all due respect you do realize that sometimes even in the Bible there are prophecies that have come true yet and there are prophecies that were prophesied that took 15 years or so to come true in the Bible and some it did not come true after 2,000 plus years, for instance the Kim Clement prophecy in 1996 the Lord showed him what was going to happen on September 11th 2001.
Also another thing I'll point out is that there is a prophecy called the two president prophecy from 2014.
and a lot of people think it's crazy talk but in it Kim talks about how some people will think Biden is President and some people will think Trump is president half and half basically in the country will have those beliefs
Personally I have had people coming up to me recently and asking me who's really in charge of the country,
because they know it's not Biden now they don't say anything about Joe biden's handlers or the people whispering in his ear telling him what to do whether it be the devil or a real person, however it says in the prophecy that the Lord will fool the people now this makes the sound like something the Lord would not do but if he can bring more glory to himself than he will do it and that is exactly what's happening yes things are going downhill rapidly , high gas prices, our open border situation,the Ukraine Russia debacle (I don't think Russia is blameless but they are not killing ukrainians you can find interviews with Ukrainian citizens on different websites where they explain how they're being shot at by their own government and told not to leave) also I much of the news media has missed translated what Putin has recently said he said he wants to denatzify Ukraine, did you know they're checking regular citizens for Nazi tattoos?) All is not as it seems and there are events going on and plans being fulfilled behind the scenes that I know father God is orchestrating or at least allowing to happen to reveal the evil in the news media government organizations and even in the church for his glory to wake as many people up as possible before he returns. and I truly do you believe that God is going to place Donald Trump back in the presidency father God's glory and that will really shake up a lot of people to know that Biden is not in control and that our lord Jesus is.

The Prophet that has spoken it presumptuously, "Thou shall not be afraid of him!!!" Is what Gods Word says, and it's not what you said!!!
Question from the outside of your beliefs here, first this isn't in bad faith, I was raised by a pastor and many family members are in church and find comfort in it. But church is where they have latched onto some pretty crazy beliefs, conspiracy theories, q-anon and Trump. My question is this, if these same people who have and still are promoting some crazy things are still given a prominent position in your church organization, how can you get past the legitimacy issues? Kat the pink haired lady is loud and proud on her proclamations, beating her staff like moses The very ones you want to attract to your church see this and walk away. I'm tennessee, Greg lock it something like that is full on Q-anon, and has said he's not a prophet while giving his version of prophecy. Many are legitimately afraid of what the lies and division will cause next. I truly hope you can get it straightened up. We need peace, and we need to lower the temperature in this country and unfortunately, the church has a fairly big role to play in it. Not saying it's completely deserved, but it's just the way many see it.

You shouldn't be against of Q Anon, why because it is military intelligence there's a lot connected to it that has been made up and people like kat Kerr and Charlie Ward a lot of times seem to add things to what military intelligence is saying and they seem to add stuff that is very new age which is definitely something we want to steer clear of as Christians, with that in mind I wish people especially Christians would stop calling out the believe that military intelligence or Q is doing things behind the scenes to fix stuff that has recently happened to our country such as a stolen November 3rd 2020.
There are a few reputable sources out there one of them is Kim Clement he talked about something similar to Q but didn't give it a name in 2012, another one is general paul v a l l i I l e, who was interviewed in 2019 about things that were going on at the time and when he was asked by the interviewer who doesn't fall the Q movement he responded by saying that the military intelligence with with the Q goes back to around the civil war time the Virginia militia because even back then the good people in power because there were many corrupt people even then in our nation realize that there was already corruption in our government and that they needed to establish a branch of the military separate from the regular part of the military President Kennedy in more modern times was going to use that part of the military to carry out an operation to get rid of the big three-letter agencies FBI CIA and so on but then was killed when he spoke out against them, it is difficult to find that speech, basically what he said in it was that he was going to shatter but the FBI and the CIA and other groups into millions of pieces and blow them into the wind something like that and when they got wind of what he wanted to do they had to kill him for it it was not just a one operation.
Things are hardly what they seem in this world and there are many things going on behind the scenes such as child trafficking buy a lot of our government officials, the only thing we know is completely certain is Jesus and what he did on the cross and what he's going to do when he comes back, with that said if you don't want to agree with the Q theory that's okay but they're doing more good than anyone seems to realize, it's just that there are few people here and there who are adding things to it just like they had things to the Bible which is wrong.
In the case of pastor Greg Locke in Tennessee I'd like to meet the man and I like some of what he says however I've recently found out through some reading online that he left his wife for another woman walk before he got divorced so I'm more careful if I ever listen to anything he says.
It's not hard if u serve a living God. If u serve a dead god then yes prophesey has no bearing
Yes prophet can get it wrong doesn't mean they are false.. False priphets dont acknowledge Jesus as their Lord and saviour.
Isn’t a prophecy that does not come to pass false, therefore making it a false prophecy?
All Christians have the Holy Spirit to lead and guide them and I do believe that a Christian can be led to tell what the Holy Spirit has laid upon his heart and that’s not to be a new word from God but from the existing Word of God it can’t be something new and set apart from the existing word because if it is than I definitely don’t believe it. Even when an individual will tell me what they may believe about God if I’ve never read about it the first thing I do is ask them where did they read or get this knowledge from. Think about this how many times we tell people that if it doesn’t line up with the Word of God then it’s not true. The veil was torn, Jesus told His disciples that He had to go away so the comforter could come to reprove the world. The Holy Spirit is the only prophet we need and can have a personal relationship with like never before, a Christian is literally living with God in his heart why would he need a prophet when he has God and the Living word. We have full access to God through the Holy Spirit!
Doug Jones, I myself having a hard time with this. I just had a discussion with my friend about this. I thought prophets exist today, but.....
A prophet sees today and tomorrow at the same time. A seer sees yesterday , today and tomorrow at the same time. So a seer is a prophet but greater than a prophet so is not a prophet only , a seer is and is not a prophet. A seer that says ani eesh low nava. They are saying the truth because they are greater than a prophet.
