- The song is Falling by Keri Noble. The lyrics really express the emotions of the two title characters, John Thornton and Margaret Hale, from the BBC drama "North and South." I hope you enjoy this video, as it is my first fan video.

Richard Armitage said his 3 favorite scenes in the film were 1) Look back at me 2) His confession of love and 3) the scene at the end. What an insight into most women's hearts must this man have.
Yes "look back at me" that phrase is so tender and the last scene when she kisses his hand, is so romantic!❤

Just watched "North & South" for the first time a few days ago. I don't know how I got along without it-- It's one of the most beautiful love stories I've ever seen! (Not to mention Richard Armitage isn't bad on the eyes!!) ;) Great video!!!! If they still had star ratings, I'd have definitely given this a 5/5!!

The 'look back at me' goodbye scene? On one hand, she's grieving and seems to be distant from everyone right then. Also, at that point she thinks he doesn't love her anymore, as he did tell her that earlier (though he totally didn't mean a word of it - she doesn't know that). They're both so awkward and spend most of this series thinking the other one hates them. XD
Never boring watching every clip frm north n south over n over...specily to see the handsome n carismatic guy like Mr.Thorton 🥰
I'm new to the North & South (RA) phenomenon too. Too bad the Brits have been keeping this talented genius all to themselves. Now that I'm privy, I can't get enough of him. Have added this beautifully edited video to my favorites. Keep spreading the word. And yes, C19 is a must for all RA converts.

I absolutely love this video...I keep coming back to it, even after watching others' work. You picked a great song that manages to capture both of their points of view and is sung with a tentative sound: it's not too overbearing. I also like how you don't go the usual route and include the kiss. Some moments' juxtapositions just grab me and squeeze until it nearly hurts. Lovely job!

Perfect video! I Love north and south, watched it propably a hundret times. Just never got the goodbye scene. Why is Margret so distant and cold, when you can clearly see his pain?
She was young and put off by his mother's praise of her son. It took her a while to figure out what a wonderful man he was - honest and full of integrity.
