Great interview. Ryan has an amazing grasp on how a supercars team operates and articulates it well. i think we would all like to pick his brain. what happened to the DJR tradition of running 17 and 18 as the car numbers? as for what supercars has become as an organisation, how about a media rights deal where you don't need a paid subscription to watch all the rounds (thanks fox). sponsors pay the wages. volunteers do most of the heavy lifting at events and fans spend millions on merchandise. have supercars forgotten that without the fans they are nobodies.
There is to many Old Boys at Supercars and if you ever believe parity will happen you have rocks in your head. Ford should just abandon the series all together.
@@gerardcrabb4556 That's motor racing! There were still ways to do it cheaper than the 888 cars/parts by being clever like SBR, GRM and Perkins/Kelly Racing (to a point). There was a proposal for an F1-style cost cap back in 2007, but that was abandoned for whatever reason.
Ryan Story really looks (and sounds) like Frank Woodley here, it's most curious! 🙂 Story seems very switched-on (as he is), next job beat 888 (again) -- how hard can it be?
Could listen to this bloke all day. He certainly knows the business inside and out.
Ryan is one smart cookie
Of all the strange things that happened this year, the video of Barry delivering Brodie to DJ and Ryan is my number 1
if penske was still co owner he would of gone what the actual farkkk lol
Always a pleasure hearing from Dr. Ryan. Loving the summer grill guys👏
Ryan means business!
Ryan been around Apex Hunters...
That's why he wanted alcohol! 😂
@Mabeanie not enough to spill beans on Anton exit...
@gerardcrabb4556 didn't he already talk about it briefly on Apex Hunters?
you need to sought the extreme volume changes!
You edited this?
You need to sort the extreme volume changes.
Hope this is what you mean.
please load you video to show how it should be done
I wish I was as clever and quick on my feet as Dr R. The guy is good......

18 is with Mr. Forklifts, but DJR could run 16 & 17 in 2025 if they wish.
If this bloke is so clever, why can't he identify where debris is on the race track. All the other team's managed ok.
Good video here but why has the v8 s lost that shine . Something is not gelling
Corporate has taken over, driver's can't say or do anything- same with team personnel. I miss the days of Kim Jones giving the officials a spray
Seeing that photo of Brodie dressed as a bum with the owners was a disgrace on brodies part . Roger Penske would have shown him the door
Interesting theory on barometric pressure

Parity destroyed the supercars appeal.for me, I think give the teams some guidelines and let the engineers build the best racecars.

Time for new car ( falcon) reboot, hopefully Ford does stay ,but time to move on if they keep blocking level playing field
Storey comes across as a good bloke, but is proven untrustworthy.
Huh....?
@ he bulls#+s a lot hidden by his nice guy mask.
"we've gotta keep Toyota honest" where was this attitude when Penske came along? Absolute hypocrite!
Quite a few more fo d teams moving to Toyota
Supercars can’t reach parity with 2 manufacturers, how can they possibly solve things with a 3rd manufacturer.
Cry baby
THE DOCTOR IS IN THE HOUSE!!!! 🧑⚕️🩺Thanks for all your hard work mate go get em in 2025!!
