Well, the Alliance had so much powercreep that the writers had to make them dumb enough to maintain the faction balance. So we ended up with an introduction mission ridiculously funny for the horde, fleeing a dumb, blind and slow demigodess.
There are so many things that disappoint me about BFA's writing, but Jaina's arc is not one of them. Blizzard finally giving my girl Jaina the treatment she deserves.

I played Wotlk briefly and came back when BFA got released, I love Jaina and all warcraft lore, I remember my bf would tell me about Warcraft lore as a bedtime story even back when I didn’t play the game. Now seeing many people leave the game, either temporarily or permanently, I just really fear for its future. That’s why this soundtrack makes me really emotional.
Game has some legit issues in terms of story content, even if the way it is delivered has never been better. Add to that the lackluster gameplay mechanics many people wanted out of WoW, and many people are rightfully leaving WoW. However, this should not really be cause for alarm but for cheer, as Blizzard may stumble along the path but when money is on the line, they always pick things back up! So I am hopeful that Blizzard will react well to the decrease in player base, especially with a newly enlarged developer team.

I stopped playing WoW last year. I knew that day would've eventually come. But you know what, I will never stop loving Warcraft, its lore, charachters and everything ( except the mechanical chicken quest ). I'm so glad that I was born in this period of life where I could've experienced such an amazing game in life. Even though there were times where WoW could get on my nerves, but boy do I love this game. Andu falah dor! For the Azeroth!
Come back before 8.2. Many of the initial BfA issues are getting addressed and it keeps getting in a better shape. The new raid is amazing and Jaina is one of the best boss fights in game. The music and cinematics keep the atmosphere alive. The story starts going somewhere. BfA was rough but Blizzard haven't given up on WoW.
This is amazing. The picture and music go perfectly together. You can really hear how haunted she is by what has happened in her life. I spent the entire video trying to figure out what the red cloth clenched in Jaina's fist was. Though if going with the theme of the picture I would guess it symbolizes the purge of Dalaran.
I actually have the wallpaper - and you can see a Horde-Symbol on the piece of cloth she is holding ... :) So I guess it's a ripped off flag or something - it also looks like there is a little bit of smoke at the hand that holds the cloth. I think it's a nice little thing since she kinda hates and kinda doesn't hate the horde. She doesn't believe that all of them are evil and THAT right there is a fabulous charakter considering everything she lost. I swear to god - if they kill her off .... x.x
Thank you for mixing this beautiful pieces of art and music together. Feel unfortunate that i just started to play bfa, got blown away by art blizzard have put in it. This music about longing for home and loving ones is timeless.
For the curious ones, the first three songs and the last one are an old sea shanty called "roll the old chariot along" Its also one of the tavern pieces that play in kul tiras
In my opinion, this has to be one of the best bits of music composed for WoW in recent years and was an absolute travesty that it was excluded from the original soundtrack. I think its so great, because it captures the essence of Boralus and the whole vibe of Jaina really well. I mean when I listen to it, it absolutely encompasses all aspects of her personality and story. Also its just a nice piece of music regardless of ties to WoW or the story :D

But I cant really play regularly and I felt that I was just getting the half-experience playing solo whilst also sacrificing a lot of time for university. The true Lich King ( Arthas ) could wipe both of them altogether easily, And Arthas himself could be destroyed easily by Sargeras and many others. As much as i love both of them they are far from beign the 2 strongests in Wow universe
Ya know.... from Mists to Legion, I had really thought they had destroyed Jaina's character. Like... I get why they were writing her to be that way, but it really made me start to dislike her. Her arc in BFA, though, has completely redeemed her in my eyes. I'm glad she got such a focus this xpac.
The portrayal in game was poor. The real Jaina was in the Tides of War book.If you haven't read/listened to it I totally totally recommend it. The best WoW book. And be ready to crai.

I think people need to understand that If she died, The entire Lore of warcraft dies with her. She is a powerful character in the entire lore!
