These look great. I like how they don't look so chaos-y now. The white and gold really looks good.
Perhaps you’ll find the Tamiya glue will work better if instead you hold the two pieces together that you are wanting to join, and then brush the glue across the join and let it run into the crack. You’ll also use a lot less glue.
I don’t use Tamiya kind, but the Mr. Hobby brand is the same and I don’t even touch my Citadel glue anymore.
@@_walruseater It's just acetone anyways. Get it by to bottle as airbrush cleaner.
My son's and I absolute love the Vader and stormtroopers killteam you did, it helped get them into playing! And it looks damn good on my shelf! Thank you for helping get my children excited to play tabletop games. The great unclean one in a tank chair is enjoying its life aswell 😁
Very cool, I just got back into the hobby after almost 10 years and I am overwhelmed at all the new techniques between slap chop and Air brushing. I am leaning to slap chop but I am intimidated by the price of the full paint set in case I end up not liking it. When I played previously I was very Naïve and pretty much used only what my local shop carried which was GW, citadel, Gale-force 9, etc. but now that everything is online there are too many options.

Besutiful emd result! I can totally empathise with the pain of painting for hours, and even though i enjoy the final products i have i still cant bare to return to the paint bench in anticipation of more hours of layering. So im learning hard about slap chop and ordered my speedpaints, ready to venture in the world of transparent painting 😊

Just ordered the Army Painter Speedpaints 2.0 mega set, black primer, grey and white paints and a set of AP dry brushes, all the gear no idea. i hope i dont suck big time lol.

Not new to tabletop but new to Warhammer. Avoided it for years as I knew it ISNT n00b friendly, is so damn huge and expansive and is a money pit. But here I am 🙄
Workmate told me KT was smaller scale and a good route in.. my arse, its still n00b unfriendly! Tbf the GW online help chat guys have been great. Had to go to eBay for a sealed Octarius set. Got myself the Phobos Space marines and the T'au aswell. The codex books are a farce, they just split the rules and faction rules up into seperate books, its a con. But credit where its due the sculpts are great and god help me, once ya dip yer toe in..it gets addictive once you get to grips! Thoroughly enjoy your vids, keep it up sir👍🏻

Might be worth investing in a wet pallet if you’re concerned about wasting paint? It means paints can stay wet even over night if you seal it properly and I believe the contrast-speed type paints work perfectly with it as well
Late reply, but no, you do not want to use a wet pallet for speed paints. I won't regurgitate but a quick search can give you more info.

Hey, what brand of poster paints are you using? Seems a lot more cost-effective than using dedicated miniature paints.
that's what I'm here to find out. I've had bad luck with poster paints.

Do you thin the paints with Medium at all?
How'd they do in the game?
I don't pay Kill Team, but I use them whenever possible in my armies, so my CSM Legionaries are the Kill Team boxes, etc., because the extra sprues have such cool parts on them usually.
