Yours is my favorite reaction to this game so far (and I've watched a lot of them). 49:30 is my favorite moment in the entire game. The sudden dramatic change in music coupled with the overwhelming visual of the infinite staircases would be enough... but then comes the terrifying realization that you have to somehow get across. Utterly mind-blowing. I honestly don't see why nobody is ever as shocked as I was when I realized I had to get across, but you both seemed to at least appreciate its significance. Going from one infinity to another infinity. This game is truly mind-stretching. I feel like Manifold Garden gives you a meaningful way to interact with and begin to understand infinity. If I could talk to my eighth grade algebra teacher I'd joke with him that this game helped me understand what an asymptote must feel like. Then as you progress and solve the same types of puzzles as you were doing before, but doing it OUTSIDE in an infinite emptiness, is just mind-squashing and absolutely horrifying. I understood the solution but got chills thinking about actually doing it. I don't have motion sickness but I do have a fear of heights.
Let me first say, I love watching E&K's videos. I find them so comforting to listen to. That's just why I've been bingeing old streams right now while I'm sick. But watching this one in the middle of the night while feverish from an acute case of bronchitis and disoriented from two types of antibiotics and cough meds is... interesting. Might have to come back to it later🤣.
I love your direction descriptions- up/down, in the __ domain. It took me so long, but I finally figured out what this reminds me of: Ender's Game (book, not movie- they tried, but just missed it). This would be one of the brain stretching games the pilot candidate kids play to learn to think beyond gravity-bound 3 dimensions. Just remember, no matter where you start, the enemy's gate is down. 😁
You did the single tear!! :) Lol! Love it! Hahaha Thank you for an awesome and super fun hangout (as always) on Saturday. T'was a blast, even if the the "prone to motion sickness club" was in session!
Bought this game because of your video. Loved it, absolutely stunning. There are many secrets to uncover besides the main "quest". Can't wait to watch you finish it!
I think you'd love the game NaissanceE! The game has a very similar atmosphere to this, and drew a lot of inspiration from the manga "BLAME!". It's still one of my favorite games to this day.
There is an instant rotate option if you feel that might help with any potential motion sickness from the rotation animation. But it does have some gameplay changes by instantly changing gravity opposed to letting things fall down when you rotate allowing some puzzles to be solved a bit different if wanted.
If you haven't tried it already, you should try the game 'antichamber' It makes an amazing streaming game to explore similar to this. I believe it was made by the same people. Keep up the amazing streams and videos. Editted as I had the wrong game title at first. Thanks Nova
I'm around 29 minutes in, at the puzzle with the 3 blue blocks and one red block, at talking to you guys on screen telling you to build a staircase with the blue blocks. 😂 Am I right? I dunno! Trying to decide if I want to risk the dizziness to find out. 😵 Edit: 32 minutes in and you almost figured it out, you just didn't go far enough off the platform. I have to pause every few minutes to stare at a real wall though, lol. Edit 2: 50 minutes in and for once I was grateful for YT having ads. 😄 I think I'm tapping out for now. 🙈👉 Let my stomach recover from all those drops so far in this game. My fear of heights has been triggered. 😨 Still love you guys even though you tortured me! 😅
I played this game at a friends house and it made me so disorientated. It's weird because I get vertigo from watching people walk on what was just the roof in this game!!
@@EvanandKatelynGamingUncut Question (idk if you get notfis for these comments or not) But you mentioned monument valley, I was wondering if you had made any videos on it because I loved that game
I love watching your videos normally, but I had to stop with this one because it gave me a wicked headache. I think I'll stick to just appreciating M.C. Escher's art.
Hey ya'll I got a fun suggestion for a collab video. Wicked Makers, Halloween is coming up so maybe you guys can make some spooky stuff. Plus they also live in Texas (I'm not sure how far tho)
Not sure if it was mentioned anywhere, but this reminds me of echochrome! It was all about perspective and getting around. I think it was only a PSP game
Watched about 14 minutes - gonna take a break and watch a lawncare video before my tummy gets too nauseous. Will try more later. // A few days later - am trying again- not sure for how long. // A few more days later - I give up, too tummy turning. // Oh, will you be going back to 'Animal crossing - part 14' in the future?
human voices aid focus sometimes, most times. be careful, this can lead to zoning out which may be considered rude or detrimental to progress. but attention is motivated by values.
Hope that there will be a part 2! Watching you guys play this game is soo fun too watch ❤ 🙂 ....even though the game makes you feel like you in a 3D Sugar Buzz 🙂
This game kinda gives me Monument Vally and Portal vibes, pretty dang cool and artistic style of game, love it! :D Edit: lol just saw where katelyn did mention Monument Vally XD
Watched this stream last night and 3/4 of the way through my Great Danebull got up from watching with me and threw up. At least for Rigsby this stream is NSFD; along with roller coaster videos.😮
If you like visually stunning puzzle games I hope you check out gorogoa (if you haven't yet ) it's not very long but absolutely gorgeous with really creative 2d perspective puzzles. Gris is another one but that's known well enough so you might have played it already
Sorry... I would love to watch the entire thing, but I'm getting nauseous already (minute 5)... I'm sure it's a great video like all your others nonetheless!
I ABSOLUTELY LOVE LOVE LOVE you guys SOOO much! That's why it pains me when y'all play so many games where you warp your voices. I have hyperacusis and migraines (with stroke symptoms), so when you warp your voices I have to stop watching. I miss your videos. 😓💔
After some consideration, I have concluded that getting drunk before watching this was Not a Good Idea.

Watching while on a cruise ship, this game and wave motion puts sensors on hyper sensitivity.
oh no, look away!

48:49 is an example of the secret passages that are threaded through this game, although that particular door only opens from the other side
Looks like it could be a fun game but I’ve got to tap out. Can’t deal with the movements. Hope you guys had fun with it!❤
watching you guys 3 minutes into the gameplay and I'm already sitting on my wall
Yep... I am questioning my reality right now...
XD
Guys, you gotta play Anti-chamber!
Seconded!
Loved this one!! Hope you make a part 2!! loved the incomprehensibility

Evan: WOW OMIGOSH, Oop I almost died
*becomes vacuum*
bahahaha
Reminds me of antichamber. Now THAT is a brain breaker!
Evan: "I like how you can just jump off and your not really punished"
Me: "umm you get punished you will forever be dizzy and questioning physics"
I think I might be getting smarter as I watch this but it's hard to tell because my brain hurts so much 😆

Love watching yall, you always make my day brighter
Oh, heads up. Applebee's has cheeto flavored chicken wings.
I'm not someone who suffers from motion sickness but watching this left me legit nauseous

I think you two would really enjoy the game Sable! It's very pretty, lots of exploration and puzzles and going zoom zoom :D

If you like this game a very similar but little less mind-bendy game is Antichamber! I highly recommend! And watching y’all play it would be sooo fun!
There's some pretty bad tearing though, is there a vsync setting that's off?
This is so much fun! Though even as someone who doesn't normally get motion sickness easily this one did :D gotta come back later for the second half
Awww where’s the second half? Did they finish it? I can’t find it!
