I would add on the subject of Stefon being a test for CJ and Demeco that I actually see their presence as being really beneficial in this entire situation, Go watch any of the mic'd up footage of Demeco or really any footage of him interacting with players and you'll immediately see how good of a player's coach that he appears to be. The dude is just charismatic, incredibly likable, and is so hyped and enthusiastic for his players, especially when they're succeeding and executing at a high level. His reactions on sidelines should be part of an NFL montage they're so good.
Then you look at CJ and I think the kid has established himself as a real leader very early on. That really stands out in the mic'd up videos of him like it does with Demeco, but the thing that really impresses me is how he's been on a lot of shows with former and current NFL vets on it and the guy is really unflappable, sneaky clever/funny, and just doesn't let anyone intimidate or throw him off. The guy stands down on business in a way that I think will work pretty well with Diggs.
At the very least, if Diggs can't get along with Stroud and Demeco, I really don't know if any other coach and QB duo in the league and placate him.
I'd agree season 2 will be a test. Last season, nobody, NOBODY saw them coming. This year the expectations, strength of schedule, and opponents' game plans will be much different.

That is nearly never in the case in the modern NFL. It’s even less likely for these Jets given that they play at MetLife.

If I were betting against Vegas, I would take a close look at the Bills' actual 2023 baseline and whether their new look offense- Cook, Kincaid, Shakir, Josh Allen short game- is for real. Lmao claiming Josh Allen is the best QB in the division by far is wild and completely untrue. Aaron Rodgers has literally won 2 MVPs in the last 4 years. Josh has never won one. I'm not even a Packers fan but that's just ridiculous to make those claims.
Rodgers won both MVPs on a completely different team and for one of the two he won, Allen finished in second place with arguably better stats which were ignored because rushing stats only matter for Lamar lmao. So the gap if any was there at the time, was that minuscule. If you have selective memory and decided to forget that Rodgers tore his achilles just last season and is now 40 years old going onto 41 on a new team, that's on you, not them.

Using 2023 as a baseline, the Bills without Diggs are looking solid. They already moved on to a different core of healthy younger players. That offense was on tear, with Diggs playing a smaller role. Their playoff run ended with a 3 point loss to the SB Champions, a game that might have played out differently if Diggs had not dropped a go ahead 4th quarter touchdown! Add to that, the Bills have 10 draft picks + an extra 2025 2nd to play with. I know this show hates them, but they might actually be stronger in 2024.

Jordan love number 1 option was better than lazard who is a number 3 and 2023 Packers receivers didn't lead the league in drops like they did in 2022 with Rodgers....Waston came on late but he wasn't consistent due to missing a lot mini camp, training camp and missed all of preseason.

The Bills will win the east. The guys they lost on defense were old and hurt and without them McDermott still coached them to a top 5 defense. During their running of the table Diggs and Gabe Davis were almost not existent they relied on a strong run game and utilizing their slot receivers and tight ends. They will win the division and lose to the bengals or chiefs in the playoffs like they do every year.

@@mikep3813 not by much. More yards and more yards per carry sure. But 4.7 to 4.5 yards per carry isn't a huge difference. What is a huge difference is the jets oline run blocking. No way cook puts up 4.7 yards on the jets. (breece with more TDs but that's not a great stat)

I am a believer in the fact someone does something for a reason. And if a source is going to year after year over promote a player like JTCA.
