    Nice repair :)
As for soldering, a tip from me: if you've got a row of joints, you can add a lot of solder and decent amount of flux, ten move the blob along the joints making sure no bridges are left, and pull the excess away.
Awwwww, Chi's Sweet Home! I watched the anime (all series) in 2018 and loved it so much.

Oh yeah, i have a vid somewhere where i show exactly that. Could be I never uploaded it. Solder wick and a sucker would be great additions aswell. The Lab needs a serious restock. Getting ants in my pants i haven’t done any electronics projects in a while but i also snapped the tip on my iron.
Haven’t had a chance to watch Chi’s Sweet Home yet.
Idk if i powered the PC up in this vid but turns out there was a issue with the processor most likely. Maybe the chip had a smaller power rail that i did not see that may be broken but i just thought the cpu fried so i put the whole thing back in the vault.

Definitely a unique little power supply board. Will be interesting to see what’s on the PC

When you flipped it over there at the end to test it, I think there was still a bunch of solder splashes on the glass, might short out some pins on the bottom. Probably not but just a thought

@@hullinstruments ROFL YES! I was aware of them and being careful. It happens allot. But yeah, I hope that PC boots. The vid should drop tomorrow evening.

Would love to see more of this project and also the multimeter soldering video from three weeks ago. Always some interesting projects you got going on 👍

So that computer is unfortunately toast. Whatever happened to it also got the processor. It gets screaming hot and when plugging in what looked like aux power was current monitoring that would shut the power supply off when attached. so sad. i will look at that disk one day tho.
The multimeter.... IDK if I posted the whole thing But I killed it more. Still totally fixable but now i have absolutely no power rails. I did find out what I killed and its a handful of componets I will be ordering soon. And the way i killed it more was so frustratingly moronic and I knew beforehand to double check but promptly forgot. soooooooooooooooooo dumb. lmao. but it be twice as cool if i manage to fix it.
since I have part money Ill be rebuilding my guitar and a really crappy amp to go with it. maybe some built in distortion from online schematics. yehhhhhh. I might decide to get fancy with new pickup one day. Once upon a time I had a pair of Bare Knuckle Razor humbuckers. I didnt care what they sounded like, they looked so cool. they sounded great tho. STOP! i got it! ill make custom pickups by hand with some wacky custom electronics. maybe teach how filtering works for would be modders!
      I love science so much
