I put a negative comment on the best 11 from outside Europe, which I still stand by, but I realised I've never actually put a good comment on any of your videos, despite yours being my favourite channel on UA-cam. This was a great video, very interesting squad, and I for one really appreciate all the work you put into these video's. I agree with your theory about goalkeepers. Baseball was my main sport growing up and when I decided to try soccer for the first time my second year of high school, I was naturally pretty good at it. Diving, throwing, catching, and even the mentality of goalkeeping all came very naturally because of my roots in baseball. The mentality between baseball and goalkeeping is incredibly similar because there is a lot of “failure” in both sports. In baseball, as they say, the best hitters fail about 7 out of 10 times and they have to keep a positive attitude and not get down on themselves. As a pitcher, you are always under a lot of pressure and have to have an incredibly strong mind to not break under that pressure in the different situations you are put in and get yourself into. Perhaps the most similar aspect however is the way your focus works in game. Baseball and goalkeeping are very stop and go in terms of the actual physical action you get and your mind needs to stay sharp and ready for those moments through the lulls in the game. I found that the mindset of getting ready to field during each pitch or getting in the zone each pitch while hitting was very similar to getting ready to save a shot or going up and snatching a corner. All that to say, it took me about a year and a half of hard work to get some of the basic fundamentals down for goalkeeping, which was often a tough and failure filled grind, but by my senior year, I was all state, had a 91% save percentage, and saved 5/6 penalties on the year! I wish I had started to play sooner but I am so happy I played the time I did, it truly is a wonderful game.
Thanks for greeting Filipinos, your not wrong about the Americans letting us go on the 4th of July, but we celebrated our independence day last month. Great shout doe, love your vids from this part of the world.
Love that you made this video! I have many thoughts: 1. Pretty sure both Funes Mori players are not eligible for the USMNT, and should not have been included. It doesn't appear they have american parents or grandparents, they very briefly lived in the USA, and if they were American, I'd imagine both would consider the opportunity to play national team football. 2. Sergino Dest should definitely be in the squad over Toljan at LB. 3. Tyler Adams is better than Michael Bradley right now. Adams has to start at DM over Bradley. 4. How is Weston McKennie not even an honorable mention? He's one of the USA's most important players, and could sell for 15-20m euros this summer.
Totally agree with you on those points except Idk if Funes Mori's were ever granted citizenship but they definitely could've easily been had they wanted to play for the USMNT
Precisely. He has often been the lone bright sport for Schalke post-restart and is rumored to being linked to Newcastle, Hertha, Wolfsburg, Everton, and even Liverpool (of course he won't start for them but not every day do you see an American being rumored to sign with Liverpool). He should have been in the XI, and yet was not even mentioned on the bench.

He actually picked our third best central midfielder to be the current USMNT representative, and then went ahead and didn't even put McKennie in the 18. You do realize that he's currently our second best player, right?
Unfortunately, he has retired, but what a player he was! I still remember that Belgium game where he was so good (15 saves, a WC record) that someone edited his Wikipedia page to say he was the US Secretary of Defense. Still won't forgive Wondo for that miss lol.
yeah ngl, I'm pretty damn sure that Sergiño Dest would be a better left back than Toljan, since he has played there several times over the season for Ajax and looked very comfortable doing so.
I personally thinik that McKennie would be a better fit than Bradley despite his poor form this season. Outstandingly versatile, decent mentality and already someone capable to lead a team despite his young age.
Fort the bench, here's how they're USMNT eligible: Darren Randolph: American father (who played for Irish basketball club UCD Marian, since he didn't pass tryouts for the Atlanta Hawks, and was part of the Irish SuperLeague's golden generation - Randolph too supports your "hand sport" theory, since he played basketball up until around 15) Neven Subotić: Raised in Salt Lake City, Utah (since their residence authorization in Germany expired and they didn't want to be deported) and Bradenton, Florida (specifically to play for elite youth organization IMG academy's football club, while his sister could play for their tennis club), also played for US youth teams Gōtoku Sakai: Born in New York (moved to Sanjō in Japan at age 2) Isaác Brizuela: Born in California (moved to Lagos de Moreno in Mexico at age 2)
I'd still have Giuseppe Rossi up front, don't even know if he's still active, but I'd take him. Also, Subotic was the one that got away for us, he was really good for Dortmund during Klopp's time there.
7 best national teams currently. I would like to see what you think because the amount of talent in the world right now is quite amazing. Clearly France is number 1 but i would like to see how you rank Germany, Brazil, and other good up and coming sides.
Morocco definitely should have got the chance to host a world cup by now they've been denied 5 times from applying the most from all the countries who've never hosted it
It has not and should not happen because morocco are not a top football country. It would just be like the 2002 wc. Corrupt and crap officials (refs). Like it or not it is the truth.
yeah it would be and neither is Qatar 2022 though. Morocco is a more footballing nation than Canada plus Mexico and USA have already hosted the world cup. Everyone will have a lot less to travel too if it was there.
I’m kinda sad Zac Steffen signed for Man City because I don’t see him surpassing Ederson barring a Joe Hart level decline for him. I’d love to see him at one of the 6th-10th place EPL or maybe even Newcastle if they actually plan on making a push for the top of the table after the takeover that may or may not happen.

Yo, love the memes! Thoughts as a fellow USMNT fan? I would take Dest at LB over Toljan, swap Adams in for Bradley (not sure why he's starting. Did this guy consult GGG lol?), move Puli to the left, Gio to the 10, and add Jordan Morris at RW. Then I'd slot Jonathan David (born in NY) at striker. Also disappointing that McKennie was not even mentioned on the bench. Happy 4th! Here's to the 2026 World Cup champs! 🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸 Edit: Just realized he had Brooks at RCB so I would move him to LCB but who would be RCB then? Aaron Long? Miazga? CCV? Richards? He actually picked our third best central midfielder to be the current USMNT representative, and then went ahead and didn't even put McKennie in the 18. You do realize that he's currently our second best player, right?
Video idea: Most goals scored in a season age 16-40
MESSI IS 🐐
I’ll put Tim Howard in goal. What a legend 🔥
He’s retired he only did active players
Unfortunately, he has retired, but what a player he was! I still remember that Belgium game where he was so good (15 saves, a WC record) that someone edited his Wikipedia page to say he was the US Secretary of Defense. Still won't forgive Wondo for that miss lol.
A premier league ‘the streets won’t forget’ XI including Taarabt, Michu etc
This is a solid team, I’d love to have seen this
yeah ngl, I'm pretty damn sure that Sergiño Dest would be a better left back than Toljan, since he has played there several times over the season for Ajax and looked very comfortable doing so.
I personally thinik that McKennie would be a better fit than Bradley despite his poor form this season. Outstandingly versatile, decent mentality and already someone capable to lead a team despite his young age.
7 clubs who never had any real golden generation
7 players who played on with medical conditions (Edgar Davids, Saul etc )
What happened to Saul?
@@ghettotraveller2027 Kidney issues.

I love you simply for even including Filipinos in interest
USA USA USA! We are just a couple of idiots

He didn’t mention McKennie😤
Adams over Bradley, Easily
@@CoolHandLuke7 nah Mckennie as a midfield enforcer
Cool Hand Luke ye
Fort the bench, here's how they're USMNT eligible:
Darren Randolph: American father (who played for Irish basketball club UCD Marian, since he didn't pass tryouts for the Atlanta Hawks, and was part of the Irish SuperLeague's golden generation - Randolph too supports your "hand sport" theory, since he played basketball up until around 15)
Neven Subotić: Raised in Salt Lake City, Utah (since their residence authorization in Germany expired and they didn't want to be deported) and Bradenton, Florida (specifically to play for elite youth organization IMG academy's football club, while his sister could play for their tennis club), also played for US youth teams
Gōtoku Sakai: Born in New York (moved to Sanjō in Japan at age 2)
Isaác Brizuela: Born in California (moved to Lagos de Moreno in Mexico at age 2)
Youve missed Jonathan David at striker, he was born in NY.
Also Tyler Adams should be in the midfield.
I'd still have Giuseppe Rossi up front, don't even know if he's still active, but I'd take him.
Also, Subotic was the one that got away for us, he was really good for Dortmund during Klopp's time there.
Best Left Footed XI
Messi for RW or CF
Laporte
Salah
Matt Targett
Fucking Roberto Carlos would be an easiest choice for the left back position.
7 best national teams currently. I would like to see what you think because the amount of talent in the world right now is quite amazing. Clearly France is number 1 but i would like to see how you rank Germany, Brazil, and other good up and coming sides.
I beg you do Morocco anything about Morocco I feel like we are never talked about and I would really appreciate it much love 💕
Morocco definitely should have got the chance to host a world cup by now they've been denied 5 times from applying the most from all the countries who've never hosted it
Sean Mccombie a World Cup at Morocco would be amazing tbh
It has not and should not happen because morocco are not a top football country. It would just be like the 2002 wc. Corrupt and crap officials (refs). Like it or not it is the truth.
yeah it would be and neither is Qatar 2022 though. Morocco is a more footballing nation than Canada plus Mexico and USA have already hosted the world cup. Everyone will have a lot less to travel too if it was there.
@@seanmccombie6379 at least Qatar has the funds for it. That's why they were chosen
Thank you god for trent he is a pure scouser and a grear rb thank you
*whispers in Filipino*
you're right about July 4, but our "Independence Day" is officially on June 12
now do a Philippines what if XI hahahahahaha
David Alaba he is such a versatile player he can play lb,cb,cdm and lm
Fun fact he could also represent Nigeria
@@IsratJahan-th3fo He'd be better off playing for Nigeria
When Arnautovic is one of your best players, you ain't that good
This will probs never happen but Areola of France and Madrid is Filipino by blood, a close friend of mine was very close to his family in Paris
sadly we don't have any significant national football identity since everyone just wants to play basketball :(
@@khalilnoelgevana3915 💯 😴
Giuseppe Rossi in his prime would of been a great striker for the USMNT
Best short players ever or currently. Maybe under 5'5 or 5'6
5 foot 3 dude on Italian team forgot his name
Butragueno is 5”5
Do 5’7 then you can have messi
nalim lattarai Giovinco?
THE best youtube i have seen hitc you are the maradona of youtube
Thanks for remembering us.😂
You have no idea how happy I was to see Gio Reyna in this!
You have to have Dempsey, Sargent, and Zardes in there
I’m kinda sad Zac Steffen signed for Man City because I don’t see him surpassing Ederson barring a Joe Hart level decline for him. I’d love to see him at one of the 6th-10th place EPL or maybe even Newcastle if they actually plan on making a push for the top of the table after the takeover that may or may not happen.
Best nations to have never won a World Cup
Eritrea, Cook Islands, Dominican Republic
Vatican City, San Marino, Equatorial Guinea
Don’t forget Qatar!
Where is mckenny from Schalke? He is the 2nd Most falued US International in real life and is just a baller. And would still be the best CM in this 11. 😬⚽️❤️
An interesting one would be “Italian players if eligible”.
Fuckin hell that bit where you said “non subscribers what you playing at press that button” worked!! Like a robot without thinking I just pressed the button!!
As someone who actually watches Michael Bradley, he sucks 😂 McKennie would’ve been my choice
What, you mean the best player for Schalke who is drawing interest from the Premier League and is currently the USMNT's second best player?
Not gonna mention that Reyna's dad is Captain America? Legendary player for the Yanks!
7 best Mexican players of all time please
Vamos Mexico ⚽️🇲🇽!!!😂
Hugo Sanchez
Yes
Lozano Ochoa maybe chicarito then another midfielder and forward
nalim lattarai I was thinking Marquez, Sanchez, Chicharito, Blanco, and probably 2 more
I swear if I have to watch Michael Bradley slowly trotting around the midfield and giving the ball away in dangerous positions again my head will explode
Best club from every top flight in the world
Germany - Bayern München
Heinz Doofenshmirtz ye obviously lol

Considering this is an MLS video, any of these could be considered the best team right now. Sporting KC, Minnesota United, Seattle Sounders, and LAFC all have a shout. But I have to say LAFC.

I cant wait to see the winger duo of Reyna and Pulisic as they get older 😍😍😍😍
TAA representing the USA, that would have been pretty cool to see
Maybe then we would've made the 2018 WC
@@mhatxgc8651 Ha! Arena and GGG would still have called up those MLS bums over him!
I requested this video a couple times but regardless, good job, and Happy Independence Day 🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸
Yo, love the memes!
Edit: Just realized he had Brooks at RCB so I would move him to LCB but who would be RCB then? Aaron Long? Miazga? CCV? Richards? Barring some other dual-nat that someone else capped, I woyld have to go with Long at RCB.
the comment section is full of suggestions only now it's sad people just don't bother much about the video itself
