Usually from Scandinavian leagues, it takes some time to hone the talent to get a chance in bigger leagues. Denmark, Sweden and Norway have all decent top leagues compared to population, with influx on foreign players competing for places in teams.
Even for a good player, it usually takes for their 20's to stand out for their teams and to attract interest from top 5 leagues.
There is younger talent (not everyone even at huge teams), have been as heavily touted as Håland, and this is part of the reason Scandivian players might somewhat fly under the radar during the early years.

Im a Swede and I have high hopes for Swedish football. So many young players with huge potential such as Roony Bardghji from Copenhagen who will probably smash the danish league transfer record when he moves to a big club. And midfielders such as Mattias Svanberg(Wolfsburg), Jens Cajuste(Reims)Lucas Bergvall(Djurgården), Yasin Ayari(Brighton) and Hugo Larsson are highly rated in Malmö. I don't need to worry about our future with the attack we have Isak, Kulu and Elanga (once our national team coach finds out who to play them properly) and many others such as Amin Sarr(Lyon), Jesper Karlsson(AZ Alkmaar) and Viktor Gyökeres(Coventry) more who will just become better through the years. In the defence we have of course Robin Olsen in goal from Aston Villa who performs well for Sweden even tho he's a second goalie in villa. He's over his thirties and may have 1-2 years before he maybe decides to retire from the national team. In the future, we have young goalie Leopold Wahlstedt from Odds BK in the Norwegian league who has the potential to be a good goalkeeper same with Jacob Widell Zetterström from Djurgården. When it comes to our back four who our national coach mostly plays. We have Lindelöf the captain mentioned in the vid. But the most promising cb right now is Hjalmar Ekdal in Burnley. Signed in January from Djurgården for a bargain in my opinion. He's done really well even scoring a goal on his debut match and only has conceded 2 goals in his 8 matches. And he'll become a big player and lean our back four in the future for sure. Other than that we have Isak Hien from Hellas Verona who might be in a relegation battle but he has potential once he moves to another club. Emil Holm a right-back from Spezia in Serie A doing well and talks about a move for him to Inter Milan in the summer. And for our right back, we have Gabriel Gudmundsson from Lille. Might not have the best season so far but the potential is there of course. I think the idea of a combined team of Scandinavia would be awesome tho it will never happen. We could make our way to a WC final with that team.

The frontline you picked is destroying the Premier League in my current Football Manager game, where I'm playing Liverpool with only British and Irish players. In the 2022-2023 PL season, Isak has scored 29 goals ! But Haaland has scored 47 (!!!) goals for City ! And 71 in all games for City + 12 for Norway. What the hell? I still won the PL invincible with 106 points though.
In real life, though it will never happen, your XI would be extremely strong ! It would be pretty much on par with Belgium, the Netherlands, Croatia or Uruguay in pure talent I think.
When I saw you put 2 center forwards, I expected Ibrahimovic though. This guy is incredible, to the point he's coming back to play for Sweden at 41 years old. Crazy for a striker
You could do a similar video with former Yougoslavia, Maghreb or arabic countries, west africa or France+french speaking belgians, swiss and canadians. That would be great ! Especially Yougoslavia

15:38 Funny enough, the 3 strikers Norway named for their squad in the upcoming games against Spain and Georgia is: Erling Haaland (6ft 5in), Alexander Sørloth (6ft 5in) and Jørgen Strand Larsen (6ft 4in) at Celta Vigo. They are all aged 22-27 as well, and similar build.
Exciting times as a Norwegian honestly, praying for a spot in the next Euros and World Cup. As the squad should be more than good enough, expect for in goal, and we really could use a decent winger

I'm gonna put in another request for a hypothetical starting XI for the East African Federation, a proposed federation (big surprise there) of Burundi, the Democratic Republic of the Congo, Kenya, Rwanda, South Sudan, Tanzania and Uganda. None of them are exactly what you'd call powerhouse footballing nations, with the exception of the DRC, but with plenty of players from those nationalities in the French and German leagues there's bound to be some diamonds in the rough. I did actually send Alfie a Twitter DM detailing my own attempt at an EAF first team, complete with a kit design and a subs bench, but since that didn't get a response I can only assume it got lost in the post. It's not like he'd ignore an unsolicited private message about putting together a national football team for a country that doesn't exist, right? Right?
This is request number 8; calling it a streak feels a little disingenuous considering I miss days a lot of the time due to my health. I intend to go for as long as I can until Alfie either makes the video or tells me to bugger off. I'm sure you have your own opinions about which is more likely. =]
