    Thanks! At 3:48 there was a clip with a pin inside. Yours in the video had a bit different design but on my car, the pin sits kind of lower and I can't pry it easily without damaging it.

      It has no notches to fit anything on the side of it? Is the clip like completely flat but with the round portion in middle cut out? If so those are the type u push down in middle part and the clip can be removed.

      @@backyardchevy328 The clip is completely round and has a round middle portion as you mentioned. I tried pushing it in but maybe I had to apply a bit more force. Just didn't want to break the clip. Will try your suggestion! Thanks

      @@Charkatak yea it seems that would be the type u would push in middle so the fingers of the clip retract allowing u to remove the clip

    My car has the first type. When I reassemble I'm probably gonna see if I can install the other kind which are much easier to remove. I keep damaging the holes, but I'm probably gonna remove the rest of them with pliers and be more careful.

      ​@@backyardchevy328 Just a little update, I used a combination of a hooked pick like you use for hoses to bend the sides in and then Vise-Grips to grip and lock onto the bent up edges and those worked great. I didn't see that in the videos I watched but I think that's a good way to get those types of rivets off if someone doesn't want to buy the tool or is in a rush. Someone working fast paced can probably get one out in 20 seconds to a minute using the Vise-Grips. I was damaging the holes before because I was pulling them straight instead of bending.
      I also used to have a problem with the hose clamps, but you can either buy a tool for around $15 or use pliers and then replace them with the screw type for easier access in the future.

      That is the more common size for GM body clips..i know for the 2008 the ones i removed were 8mm

      No, metal rivets you wanna drill out the upper part of it then the remainder of the rivet comes off

      Yea those are risky, the plastic can get so brittle with the heat..sometimes I spray em with wd40 and that kinda helps lubricate em and keep em from breaking

    No one shows when the bumper is ON the car and HOW to locate the f" screws then to remove them to take the freaken bumper off! ! Missing!!

      Well every vehicle has different places where its secured but i can make a video on removing a front bumper, ive had footage on it on a scion frs that I never actually finished if it would help

    i always hated why on a single motorcycle there has t0o be 20 types of nuts, why not just make an overkill and put strongest wherever possible, like a hundred grams more or less is gonna make any difference, especially on a commuter's vehicle

      Yea especially when throughout the years the plastic gets so brittle they break..but guess to them it was probably some cheaper quicker fastener
