thanks! maybe… depends what you mean. more sophisticated stuff like warping in ableton is mostly beyond my knowledge. i’ve been doing a little research on time stretching but it’s all very new. i’d love to hear more about what you’re interested in.
@@p__meyer Any way to access Ableton warping algorithms directly in Max? Max stretch~ (Ztx-based or alternative pitch/time modification of an audio buffer) and any timestretching algorithms in Gen would be really interesting.
i kind of miss the point of the rtt.notes~ object, i can't see a scenario where i would use it. maybe a video where you use various rtt objects to make music would be more enlightening.
for me the benefit over something like stash is that the list you pass in doesn’t have to change for things like scale changes, octave range changes, and transposition. certainly you can do these things with stash~ and a multislider and some other objects, but for me this is easier this video might be close to what you suggested: Building a Sequencer with Rhythm and Time Toolkit ua-cam.com/video/DfhQnNnh76k/v-deo.html
I am extremely happy to see this. RNBO compatible Scala parsing :))))
Yes!
Great videos! Anything you can cover re: warping and stretching samples in Max?
