My current setup is the vegan jack 1 which feels more supportive than my first suede jack 1s but man in a year or two I definitely want to upgrade to jack 2s I love street skating and extra support for big jumps would be amazing
I literally just changed up my Jack setup for outdoor trails/streets, mine are just on Avenger plates. I'll probably just put hundreds of miles on my new ones and then upgrade eventually, the reinforced aspects of the Jack 2 make me interested, since I do 10+ miles at a time for most of my outdoor skates and the miles definitely add up on impact and muscle wear. 👀
Outstanding work, Michelle! A lot of folks who are, ahem, older, still want to keep enjoying their favorite sport/means of locomotion. Letting us keep our ankles working is a big step in the right direction.
Loved this break down, as I move towards more park skating I’m going to seriously consider investing in the jack boot. Can you do a video on how you roll out your muscles prior to skating? Thanks!
Honestly you're so cool hahaa Just the fact that you take into consideration things like implementing an ankle brace design into the skate, or like with Shove and the Thick set shows you care so much and it seems like you're an amazing person :)
Thank you, but work *should* be problem solving. Im very grateful to be able to work in something I care about. I may amaze, but Im not amazing.... Im full of flaws too. But thank you for the kind words!
Thank you and congratulations! Excited to see them out there and as a structural massage therapist, yoga instructor.. I agree wholeheartedly with all you say about the body work
Me too! I was going to get Lolly's but they're so close to my 135 Zones. This will make the perfect addition for super long-term use indoor and outdoor.
I'm super excited for my Jack 2 which should be arriving any day now! Before it came out, I originally wanted a Jack 1, but due to supply issues got the Melsore Premium instead. Now that it's time for an upgrade though, I'm so excited to see what's in store!
this is gonna be my first pair of skates. Mostly because I know I love skating but can't go to rinks often. And because I've got incredibly weak ankles and work in shipping, so I can't wreck my ankles because I'll be fired. I can't wait til they arrive.
I had the Neos forever, got new skates attached to sunlites about 6 months ago. The other day I skated in my old set up with the Neos and my feet were definitely feeling the impact! The sunlites are worth it for that alone. :) -Kayla (moxi customer service)
Hello are the Moxi jack 2 for sale I have been looking for a upgrade for a few months now because I have loosened 11 times but they still don’t turn but do the skates u sell turn. Please reply.
So excited! Love the black accents as it appeals to inner goth. I haven't found a skate that fits me yet so my only wish is that I could try them on. I have flat wide feet so I feel it's impossible to find a skate that is comfortable
Would you guys ever make an explanation as to the custom colour price? It’s super high for just a colour change so I’d love to understand why the price is so high? The comparison to the jack 1 customs is double the price which seems extortionate on the surface The stock price is expensive but reasonable then customs makes no sense to me
Hi I am an inline skater and figure skater and had an ankle injury last year and have a experience quad skating but not much park I skate a LOT so do you think the Jack 1 or 2 would work better for me
I have been skating for 2yrs. I park skate. Can't even drop in, whatever. I'm working on it. I only have a pair of impalas. Because hello, I live in NZ and shipping and international costs like... Wow. Impalas already cost about 150 bucks... I really wanted to get a pair of lollies... Then I wanted jacks... Now I want jack 2s. I promised myself that when I've worn out my impalas I was going to get a really juicy cool pair. I won't have to worry about that for a while, like I said, haven't got the guts to drop in yet. But I will. And then I can start stalling. And when I get that, I wanna do other cool stuff in the bowl. One day I'll do those things. One day (and I'm taking really good care of my skates!) My skates will wear out... Then I can upgrade.
Did you say more stable lace loops? I have a Jackson ultama boot a figure skate. The problem is I already broke two lace loops. Would I likely break a Jack2 lace loop?
Hey estro, I tried to buy on the website but it says no shipping to my australia address. By coincidence I'm going to la/san diego in a couple of weeks will they be available for pick up there? Not sure where the moxi skates shop is :)
I’m a new skater but if I get good at skating I will definitely invest in the jack boot. I have two pairs of Lolly’s right now and I love them but would enjoy the ankle support.
Beginner here! I’m looking at the rainbow rider, but an intrigued with the Jack 2 foot extra support. My ankles aren’t that weak, but my knees are. What would you suggest?
Could you go into more depth on how the brace is integrated and what the actual support is there other than counters? How do the counters in this differ than the 336 ones for example?
Can this boot support an inline frame? I love reidell boots but skate artistic inline. Don’t love the inline skate look but they are substantially stiffer.
I skate almost every day around 8-16 miles. I use the lolly boot but I’m interested if I should switch to something with more support. I’m not aggressively skating, just distance and speed, but I would be interested to know if I should stick with the lolly boot or move to more support since I skate so much.
Zipper- if you are not experiencing any issues, I would say you have the right model :) If you're feeling liek you need inspiration in your feet- I would change your wheels! Changing your wheels opens a whole new world :) Also, change your insoles regularly because they wear out.
Hi! I am brand new to skating & plan to dance skate. I have an ongoing foot issue so the mention of the extra ankle support on the Jack 2 sounds great. Would the Jack 2 be suitable for this? I just bought your Lollys and changed out the wheels. Also, I'd LOVE to know if you like your foot Dr. I'm local & am looking for a 2nd opinion :)
Hi! Does the Jack Boot 2 also come in Black Vegan leather at no additional cost? I noticed that it only applies to the white vegan leather option on your website.
I have arthritis and I use impalas daily and my feet bones hurts so much that I have to stop. Will the jack boot 2 help me with minimizing the pain? Edit: oh lord if I plan to have them I'll have to save up money for 2 years😭
I am a heavier skater (fat skate love!) who skates about 5-6 days a week. I have ambitions of park skating hopefully by the end of the summer. I play derby (and have derby skates) and I use my Lollys for outdoor and attempting new tricks. I love the way my Lollys feel for “fun” skating rather than for sport. They are an absolute dream. I have a bad knee from a torn ACL/meniscus, but do not seem to have weaker ankles. Do you recommend the Jack 1 or 2? Would the Jack 2 help with the higher impact from my heavier body frame? Would the additional support in the ankle also indirectly support my knees?
Congrats on the jack boot 2!! 🥰🥰 The black ones look like my moxi panthers 😍 i do get sweaty feet so for me the fur would be to hot i guess. And vegan ❤️ I think i will never need them. I am more a trail skater and a little skate park
You can custom order them with cork or leather heels, along with a banana cream lining. Some shops bought customs with the heels and kept them in stock. They're just a custom flavor of boot.
What's your current set up and are you going to upgrade to the Moxi Jack 2? Why or why not?
I'd love to. Coming from Beach Bunnies.😃They're pretty supportive, and great for all the things I do. But one question...do the two compare?
My current setup is the vegan jack 1 which feels more supportive than my first suede jack 1s but man in a year or two I definitely want to upgrade to jack 2s I love street skating and extra support for big jumps would be amazing
I have the Jack 1 in Suede and Vegan!

Current setup: BlackJack 1 on sunlite (might eventually get the lilac jack2 😆)

Are these good for artistic skating? (What is the stiffness rating vs. an Edea, for instace?)
Additional ankle support is also good for crunchy old knees. I want to try these for artistic dance.
They would be great for that!
I am so ready, there's a lot of great upgrades and the colors are so cute.
Thank you and congratulations! Excited to see them out there and as a structural massage therapist, yoga instructor.. I agree wholeheartedly with all you say about the body work
Thank you ❤
I just got my Riedell 135 build and now I'm thinking about upgrading already 😭
Me too! I was going to get Lolly's but they're so close to my 135 Zones. This will make the perfect addition for super long-term use indoor and outdoor.
So refreshing to here, look after your body! Great breakdown and review on your new boots ;)
Glad you enjoyed! Thank you!

The True Blue is calling my name, but so is the all black vegan Jack. Sooo beautiful. omg!!
Special colorsuuuuhhhhh!!! I'm dying.

Cannot wait! Have Jack 1.0 but need more support due to prior break. I really want to try the lighter Sunlite plates Neo’s are heavy!
I have sunlite plates on my lollys! They are so light honestly i love them

Would really love a video where you talk about the orgins of Moxi & an in depth video about how you managed to get a deal with Riedell.
What about the insoles, any improvements? They are very hard.

The stock price is expensive but reasonable then customs makes no sense to me
Prices rose overall. Custom color is an option but we encourage skaters to wear what we make on the production line. Black, True blue and Lilac
the reason its more expensive is because it would be custom. The stock colors are cheaper because they have them on hand :)
I have a question does the Jack 2 have a wider toe box?
Love this!! Genuinely curious why the custom colors are significantly more expensive? Please educate me!
My guess is when u get them in custom colors they’re made to order. So they charge for the extra labor instead for just getting one from inventory
Hi I am an inline skater and figure skater and had an ankle injury last year and have a experience quad skating but not much park I skate a LOT so do you think the Jack 1 or 2 would work better for me
Which sliders do you recommend to be used with the Jack 2s? Thanks in advance!
Will it be possible to order boots in 2 different colours? Right Black, Left Poppy for example? I don't need 2 sets of skates but I wanna mismatch!
YEAHHH ! The best friends package! You can order them special that way.
I have been skating for 2yrs. I park skate. Can't even drop in, whatever. I'm working on it.

Heck yeah! That's awesome. Jacks are a great investment, when you're ready! :) Keep up the shredding!!
Did you say more stable lace loops? I have a Jackson ultama boot a figure skate. The problem is I already broke two lace loops. Would I likely break a Jack2 lace loop?
Yes they are reinforced, so it will take a lot more time and force for them to break. :)
Ours are made very sturdily.
Just got one! Question, can it be mounted on a power dyne thrust plate ??
Hey estro, I tried to buy on the website but it says no shipping to my australia address. By coincidence I'm going to la/san diego in a couple of weeks will they be available for pick up there? Not sure where the moxi skates shop is :)
i think they got rid of the official brick and mortar store but maybe other shops will have them?
we are online only at moxiskates.com :) There are skate shops local to the LA and San Diego area that do carry Moxi skates though!

Can this boot support an inline frame? I love reidell boots but skate artistic inline. Don’t love the inline skate look but they are substantially stiffer.
These are super stiff and supportive- way more so than the Jack 1. You could purchase a boot only and test it out, although we have not.
Is there a Moxi video to show how to roll out those muscles and joints pre-skate?
We have a ton of stretching videos under our "No skates, No Problem" playlist! :)
But I just purchased a pair of Moxi Jack boots .... now I need to get in line for Jack2's ... Ok Size 9 please.

Hi!
Does the Jack Boot 2 also come in Black Vegan leather at no additional cost? I noticed that it only applies to the white vegan leather option on your website.
The white vegan is the stock option with no extra charge- the black vegan will be considered a custom color upgrade.
@@moxiskates got it thanks!

Special color…. Come on!! Just make all colors reasonably priced!!! 🍭
It’s amazing but I am so unbelievably broke lmao
I hear ya! The economy is a roller coaster right now. Feeling it here in the biz, too!
😍😍😍best skates ever
I have lollys but man am I drooling over these beauties.

@@estrojen8755 hi there! Just wanted to follow up on this 💕 I am super excited lol
would love a follow up on this question 🤔🥰
Are these good for dancing??
Absolutely!

How come some of the Jack Boots have wood stacked heels ? .. X
You can custom order them with cork or leather heels, along with a banana cream lining. Some shops bought customs with the heels and kept them in stock. They're just a custom flavor of boot.
Umm what's the importance of a heal or what it's made of?
The cork heel offers better impact absorption, however will wear more quickly if skating in wet environments.
These upgrades sound awesome. I only wish they were on a stacked leather or wooden heel :(
Cool video. 😂.
Thanks......,
Gente é confiável esse site
Those skates are very pretty but the back of the boots are not high enough to give good ankle support that’s why your ankles are super stressed out

New skatepark in town means I have to get new skates I can’t wait! 🥹💙
What color?! :D
@@moxiskates Blue or black suede I can’t decide 😍
Wow these look so cool. If only there were bigger sizes without having to pay $100 more.. cute tho 🥲
