- Inside of the concentration camps established during the Second World War by the SS, there were many people who were persecuted for their religious beliefs. But one Nun who died inside of Ravensbruck, an all female camp was Saint Sister Maria of Paris, a woman who gave much of her life to helping the needy inside of the French capital. Sister Maria lived an incredibly interesting life, and she was even at one point a Mayor inside of a Russian town. But she then found religion and moved to Paris, but as the German Army captured the city she knew trouble was on the horizon.
Sister Maria was then rounded up by the Gestapo and she was then sent to Ravensbruck Concentration Camp, a place where dozewns of thousands were executed and killed during the Second World War. Maria managed to survive for 2 years inside the brutal camp, and she outlived many others but weeks before the site was liberated she was sent to the gas chambers, as she became incredibly weak.

It's still happening on large scales yet most of us don't ever hear about it or see it. Christians are slaughtered every day through out the world. In Nigeria alone 10+ Christians are murdered Everyday that's over 1,000 Christians ever month, it's a Fact that the Most Hated people are The Jewish people and Gentile Biblical Born Again Christian. Throughout time there have been more Christians murdered than any other people group throughout history since Christianity was birthed in Antioch. Just the false religion Islam alone have serial killed over 300,000,000 Christians since it's birth in 700 AD. Christ, Jesus said "If you follow Me the world Will hate and persecute You for My names sake"

On 5 March 2000, the Holy Father John Paul II beatified 11 Sisters of the Holy Family of Nazareth, Martyrs from Nowogrodek, Poland (now Belarus), Sr. Maria Stella and her 10 Companions, in Rome. The day ended with a ceremony conducted by Father Vito Calabrese, General of the Oblates of St. Joseph consisting of the unveiling and blessing of a memorial plaque with representations of the Martyrs, and veneration of their relics.
