    Oh I was wondering that myself. Thanks, that response makes sense :)

    the emotional stress will cause strain on her cardiovascular system, there is also the increase of blood flow to the injury site causing more swelling causing more pain causing stress thus increasing the heart rate causing more strain on the cardiac system. Can you see how this can continue till there might be a catastophic event.

    The public-safety answering point will request an ambulance for you if possible. If hospitals are overloaded, and they wont be able to send a dispatch, they will tell you to try and get there on your own. Also, the quicker you can get to the ER, the less chance there is for any further injury.

    Your dealing with an elderly patient there is a higher consideration for shock, further soft tissue damage and pain complications.

    Wonderful. I know one time during a traffic stop while Officer Lucy Nickell pulled me over for doing 57 in a 45. I was in a hurry to be on time and on task just to get the cake to a child's birthday party. It was all thanks to Chef Kade for his hard work on that particular cake. Sultz Z. Wolf, one of my friends, tripped and broke his arm, right after she told me to get my license and registration. I got out of my van to help, and Officer Nickell rushed to aid Sultz as well. Luckily, I wasn't arrested for what I did. Kiara, who works at her salon, came and got Sultz and brought him inside her beauty shop. She let me off the hook for what I did, and let me continue my cake delivery and I got back in the van to drive the rest of the way to the house.
    Signed, Angela

    Sometimes buses could get cramped and uncomfortable, taxis might do fine, but traffic could affect them.

    @fernibear Because she's old there is a high risk of shock, so it can be a lot more serious

    Broken arm bone IS NOT an emergency, and it can't get worse.
    What does the shock have to do with a broken wrist?

    Calling an ambulance for everything is a waste, you are just overloading the hospital.
    If you have a broken bone, just go the hospital, if you need it you could ask someone to accompain you.
    Just...you are not going to die for it.

  • @wcresponder
    @wcresponder 10 років тому +1

    You really didn't get the previous message. The woman can go into shock which can cause circulatory problems and that can cause death. She may not have any transportation, by calling for an ambulance she gets care and pain management. You can die. Rare yes but possible.

    Calling an ambulance for a broken bone? Arm bone? WTF?

  • @videogiocatore3
    @videogiocatore3 10 років тому

    Yeah, that's why you should go to the hospital. But calling an ambulance is an exaggeration.
    Surely you won't die with a broken, not bleeding wrist before arriving the hospital lol
