FIRST OVER THE FINISH LINE AT THE DALES STRUGGLE !!

I'm not sure how I was talked into doing one of the toughest Sportives in England as part of my recovery from surgery and a long lay off. We entered the May 19th event back in January when it seemed like a good idea. With my lack of fitness becoming increasingly obvious as we entered Spring, I told the group I was definitely NOT doing it....... but I am a sucker for peer pressure.
Anyway, the day was expected to be full of twists and turns and in a sense it most definitely was, especially the turns
