The "love story" joke is because they released the movie on Valentine's Day in the US. So while the theaters had rom-coms they also had this playing at the same time.
I watched it in the cinema with a friend and there actually was a guy who had convinced his girlfriend that this was a romantic movie. She left after like 20 minutes. We didn’t know whether to laugh or feel bad for her because why lie and be an a** when you know your partner doesn’t like movies like this? But also the movie is called Deadpool, what are you expecting?
Dopinder (taxi driver) is the voice actor of Pavitr (Spider-Man India) in across the spider verse. I suspect Deadpool will mention that in the 3rd movie somehow😂
So Deadpool is aware that he is simply a character. That’s why he’s able to break the fourth wall. That’s ALSO why he’s able to make references about other properties outside of Marvel. He’s aware that he a character in a franchise, and is also aware of other franchises
@@BaconWTF also kinda, hes shown to be so fully aware of being a comic character that he's entered the "real world" and killed the deadpool writers. At one point he lets Xavier into his head, and upon realizing the same thing Xs mind breaks and he goes comatose. Deadpool feels all the pain of what happens to him. Part of why he seems slightly insane is from having experienced all of that pain and mutilation without dying. In the comics, he was dissolved into a puddle of slime and regenerated. He's effectively immortal.
@@seaspike40 You're right. Although I've heard it once. I can't remember who it was, though, because it was one of the first DP reactions, and I've watched many since then 🙂
Marvel doesn't talk about DC because the concept doesn't exists within its universe and vice versa. Deadpool as a character however can do that because he is known to break the fourth wall.
That's not strictly true. People in the MCU do know about DC characters because they watch movies and read comics about them, just like we do. For instance, they mention Superman in Eternals.
@@Berto2K I never mentioned Spider-Man. I said they talk about Superman in Eternals. Eternals is Marvel and Superman is DC, therefor Eternals proves that people in the MCU know about DC characters.
Wade Wilson looks the way he does because the cancer got the healing factor as well, but his normal tissue is constantly pushing it out of his body to the surface and killing it. As a result, he always looks different and is also always in murderous, excruciating pain. He reacts so little to injury because the pain he's already in is so much more severe.
prior to being deadpool wade WAS technically pretty much a superhero in the way hawkeye is, he was able to see and process things EXCESSIVELY fast, to the point of being able to cut through and thus deflect a hail of bullets as hes being shot at, near instant aim and incredible accuracy. though the regeneration factor combined with his insanity removes his body limiting the strength of his muscles, thus letting him excert enough strength to stab through concrete n shit his swords are also made of carbonadium (or adamantium idk) making them almost as strong as wolverines skeleton
So the fun thing about him looking for Francis: all the people who work for him know him only as AJAX. They would have no idea who “Francis” is. All Deadpool had to do was ask for “Ajax” and he probably would’ve found him way faster and he wouldn’t have had to kill so many people 😂😂
This movie was the perfect opportunity for ryan reynolds to mock everything he can, including himself 😂 There are a LOT of references in this movie, for example, wade references the actual studio that made this film, they could only have colossus and negasonic longest name ever in the film, and the end credits is a nod to ferris buellers day off. Ryan reynolds was born to play deadpool
44:14 Bob is Bob from HYDRA. He sometimes serves as Deadpool's sidekick and he's basically a henchman for hire working for whatever bad guys have the best healthcare plan.
31:00 Deadpool regenerated from being dissolved into a puddle of goo. Literally was nothing but liquid...and he came back. You can find more out from the 3 Deadpool versus [blank] Death Battle matches.
It's nonsense, because rhe pattern of your mind is acquired, not in your genes. Comics are not written by SF writers. Squish DPs head and he's dead: immortal is not the same as unkillable.
@@davis.fourohfour In the canon comics, he was a literal puddle of goo, dissolved completely into liquid, and he survived, he quite literally pulled himself together, reformed, stood up, and walked out.
31:00 his regeneration isn’t tied to his brain like wolverine or most anime characters. His regeneration is encoded into every single cell in his DNA. I forget the specific explanation for this but it’s something to do with his cancer being tied in with his mutation. If he was healthy when he mutated, he’d just have wolverine level mutation and probably would’ve died when franchise stabbed his skull
Did you know, Francis was popularly known as Ajax and not by his Government. So Deadpool basically went around killing people for not outing Francis when they didn’t know who that is
So to explain his regeneration powers, in the comics I says that as long as one atom remains he will slowly and eventually regenerate. The only thing that will ever kill him is being right next to an atomic bomb exploding
In Marvel Comics, Deadpool comes from the same world as Wolverine and the X-Men. Plus, his healing factor came from Wolverine as they were both a part of the Weapon X programme. If you react to 'X-Men Origins: Wolverine ', you will see what I mean. Plus, if that movie never existed. The Deadpool Franchise wouldn't to. Because of the bad choice they made for it's climax (I'm not trying to spoil it.)
You’re mixing up MCU, Fox Studios X-Men and the comics. Neither of the movie franchises follow the comics exactly. In the comics, Deadpool can’t die because Thanos has cursed him to live forever. He’s is in love with Lady Death, but she likes Deadpool, so Thanos cursed him to immortality to keep them apart.
There was a video game that came out where you get to play as Deadpool at the same time as this movie and it one level your head does get chopped off and it quickly regrows little legs and you run around with as a head with these tiny legs.
