  • I took the 2017 Yamaha SX190 out for an overnight boat-camping trip anchored off shore in Kaneohe. Clear skies, extremely calm waters, practically zero wind and the promise of huge sun the next day prompted this trip. I took Bree of course and a guest along for the ride. My good friend Tricia was gracious enough to try this over-night-camping-onboard a boat stuff out. She handled it well and got a better night sleep than I did as I was only half asleep the whole night. This was a lot of fun and hope to do it again!
Features include Hawaii, Oahu, Yamaha Jet Boat, SX190.

So jealous! We plan to camp overnight in our boat when it gets here! Drinking coffee watching the sun come up, can’t wait! Be safe brother!

      Aloha,
The camping trip was really cool, I really hope we get some of that dead calm weather again...on the weekends, to do it again. Learned a lot from the trip....don't over-pack and remember to stow dry clothes in additional dry bag! Your boat will get there, stay positive!

Bro you motivated me to buy a boat and you actually had a lot to do in what kind of boat to buy, I just got the 2022 AR190. Great videos homie👍🏼👍🏼👍🏼. Also now I know what David Spades gonna look like in the future.

      Aloha!
Glad to be of help! Always love seeing new Yammies hit the water, you'll have a BLAST! The 190 platform is a great starter boat and the AR is a sweet ride. I'm coming up on 200 outings in about 4 years and the boat is taking it in stride. Enjoy it to it's fullest! Boat On!

I must ask what camera you use for your videos and also what editing software or app. Looking to start recording but can’t seem to know what’s good.

Good question and I'll tell you what I have.
Cameras: Original GoPro Hero - Usually used for the bow images on the boat and some underwater images, FujiFilm Point&Shoot for water (the blue one) - Not used often anymore but can go under water. Samsung Note(s) 5, 9 & 20 - Usually used for bow images, hand helds and both the 9 & 20 can go in the water. The Note 20 is exceptional and is the primary video camera unless Im in the office or can bring a full size DSLR - Canon 5D mkII with an assortment of lenses.
Software: I've been using Windows MovieMaker since day 1 of this channel and had to find a copy out on the web when I got the new computer in late 2020. MS doesn't offer it anymore. MovieMaker is super easy to use, very little learning curve. It is limited in some respects and has it's hiccups from time to time but I still use it, just learn to work with its hiccups and remember to save your work as you go along.
Computer: HP PC with Win10. I7 - 9700 processor 3.00 Ghz, 32 gb of RAM.
Last Tip: Shoot your videos with three things in mind. 1. Shoot with a purpose in mind (ex: what are you trying to show your audience) 2. Shoot short concise to the point clips whenever possible. Excess footage means a lot of wasted time to find the meat of the scene. 3. Plan your video in your mind and then go out and capture it.
      Good Luck!
