Brissett has a lot of positive character traits, held back by a less than accurate throwing arm. if he has his way he'll get the team to pull together, he's a good game manager and motivator out there, he's smart, tough, and very likeable, but we'll probably go just about as far as the run game will take us. Basically, he's a great leader and I'm glad he's a Patriot but don't expect lasers or tight spirals through multiple defenders. We're going to have to win in other ways. That said, he probably won't burn us as badly as Jones did at times, he's smart and doesn't take stupid risks, so he has that over what came before him.

I’m a diehard patriots fan and when they took Drake I was so freaking happy because I would have taken him number one if I was Chicago. Only because I want to be winning for consecutive seasons. Drake is only 21 and he’s not even close to his prime yet. Looking at it in three years I expect the patriots to be making a run in the playoffs. I’m not expecting much this year.

If the OL and run game holds up we'll win more games than we lose with Brissett. If we start falling behind by multiple scores or making a lot of mistakes out there, Brissett won't be able to put the team on his back and carry them home. It's gonna have to be a collective effort if we want to win.

This team is still drafts and trades away from being a serious competitor. This coaching staff is new in every sense of the word their going to need to gel just as much as the players. The "just do your job" and "next man" up days are over. They need to make an identity for themselves and the players need to buy into it. They also have the least talented team in their own division with a brutal schedule.
