    A Sephardi Orthodox Rabbi told me that he felt Orthodox Christians were more similar to Orthodox Judaism than Messianic's were, so I decided to check it out. Since I started attending an Orthodox Christian church I have found it to be more similar to the descriptions of first century Judaism than Messianic, Orthodox Judaism, or Evangelical Christianity. There are also major differences though. Messianic Judaism has many wonderful qualities, but there is a huge amount of variation from congregation to congregation. Some MessianicsI have met even deny the divinity of Yeshua, or any number of false beliefs. I did enjoy my time in the messianic movement very much though and mostly experienced very committed believers. But I felt like it was more like modern Judaism than what I think the first century Judaism that Yeshua or the Apostles would have recognized. I
