Galaxy S8 was a fantastic phone from a design standpoint. I personally did upgrade to the S9+ from the S8 but will hold onto this for years. It's just a fantastic phone to use.

The S8 is really surviving the test of time. iPhone 7? Ancient. Galaxy S8 from the same year? Still comparable to the iPhone 11 or XS. $800 was a lot to put down but I'm going to hold onto mine for at least 3 more years, so it's 100% worth it. It's surprising how much of the design from today's modern phones is taken from the S8.

its ironic that apple is the company that hates people getting inside of their devices most but they also have the cleanest interior with all the branding and apple logo inside on many things almost like they want you in here
It is. But branding on phone parts helps avoiding counterfeit. It's not a marketing trick.

The S8 is still a good phone, I have one and no complaints so far. I can see why Zack hasn't upgraded yet, but it might be time to upgrade
I use the s8 and it still has the best screen in my opinion on the market due to its large ppi compared to other phones

Watched this on the 11 Pro, and I can say the ear speaker is definitely just as loud as the loud speaker now, and the phone gets ear piercing loud when you’re pulling the tape from the battery, and I was extremely impressed, thank you for the content!

Only one thing is cool about Apple: its design is very simple to remember when you're going to teardown them. They're so similar to the each other. Ex: Ip 6s and Ip 11, the placements looks quite similar. from inside

I'm just happy that the screen and battery replacement is so easy, as those are the only things that I ever need to replace and back glass is always protected by a case.

@@infinity2538 unless it is midnight green, then there are tons of them at the store. I order for delivery 2 ip pro a few day before lauch and it said at least 3 weeks before thay can ship it. On the 1st and 2nd day after lauch I check online with in store pick up and saw they still have everything so I just cancel the delivery. Place the order and come to store to pick the iphone up an hour later. The first day I go to buy the ip 11 they were out of midnight green , on the second day they have it but low in stocks. On both thay the walk-in line was so long that I glad I buy it online, go in and out in less than 15 mins.

Apple just wants display tech to be perfected before moving to the next generation of design. Apple is wayyyy more focused on their software and internals. I'm not upgrading my iPhone till Apple makes the iPhone look like the iPad Pro and gets rid of the notch
