Strange how a HOA will foreclose or sell a persons property. When they have a problem with that home owner. But can't do a thing with a squatter.
If the police won't pull those scummy people out, what can be done? Other than hiring the mob to do it the old fashion way.

this commissioner does not care. a squatter burned one of my homes on desert inn and eastern. clark county demolished the home and fined me 30k. i begged to this commissioner and she told me we are not charity. why she does not do her job with the homeless and squatyer in clark county
@Craig O No it doesn't put money in their pockets. That's why I would fight that fine tooth and nail, and sue them in federal court. That way there is no bias towards Las Vegas from the judge. I don't care if I have to take it to the Supreme Court. I would be willing to do that to prove a point. If the Supreme Court takes the case and says squatting in breaking and entering, then the eis no more squatter protections.
They are not squatters they are criminals breaking and entering someone's home they destroy property.
Problem is they're getting away with it are jurisdictional system lets them get away with it

Squatters should be removed within 24 hours, first offence.
2 year jail time 2nd offence.
4 years jail time 3 offence.
8 years jail time 4 offence.
No exception.
A lot of this damage reminded me of what was done by people during the real estate meltdown in 2008. The difference was houses were being destroyed by people being evicted or by crooks looking to steal things to sell.
I haven’t seen one case where I couldn’t have gotten the place immediately. The criminals don’t have a right to break into any home and live there Scott free. I believe everyone, from the guy off the street to a tenant, to a judge would agree with that statement. It’s just so simple. I think I’m going to go into business as a squatter whisperer, or a property Ninja. If I could get them out within days, I bet they would all pay one months rent if I could get them out within days.

Again, I've said this on other videos. But so many of these homes are pretty much abandoned. They may have an owner, many are owned by banks, but the bank or person doesn't care and allows this to happen. So perhaps if we started holding banks accountable, holding owners accountable for abandoning properties, this might change. I realize there have been home owners, who didn't abandon their property and ended up with squatters, but they are actually working to have the people removed. If the home owner just walks away and says they don't care, there's not much the City, HOA, police, neighbors, etc. can do.
Rich property owners(bank's) don't look after their assets. They expect cops and courts to do it.

Such a bad problem with such and easy fix...pay some locals to be security and run the squatters off , it may cost a few bucks up front but once the word gets out the place will turn around..

I have a solution to end real estate speculation and address the squatter problem. An potential residential homeowner must agree to live in the house they purchase for at least 5 years.

The lady in green pants is my mom and she wasn’t squatting let me just say they didn’t show the fact that my grandmas man owned that unit and they had be harassing us for hours and that Security guard got arrested for sexual assault against minors

This is why no one wants to invest in low-income housing. If you invest in luxury apartments, you get better tenants.
See what happens when you put low income housing near regular housing. They should go back to using large tenaments strictly for low income people. I will give poor people an incentive to better their lives so they can get out and live in proper housing where owners and renters care about the property.

There are two sides of the investors' story. 1 we don't want them to be here to rive the reasonable housing price way up. 2. We don't want the squatter either. The locals want both gone to hell.

Squatters suck, but so do the "investors" that own all these properties, driving up the prices so normal people can't afford to buy a home or even rent anymore. I feel no pity for either one of them.
