You got out mate , most of us passed up on it so good effort. Just one of those days not much once can do in the ice but ice tyres. Keep it up (literally) 😂
Thanks, i hadn't been out for a couple of weeks and new bad weather was on it's way so thought i should give it a go, 🤣, apart from the couple of falls i was actually enjoying it 👍
Cheers, i'm all ok and no bruising so probably not as bad as i thought, black ice is dangerous 🤣, even landing on grass would not be a soft landing 🤣, thanks 👍
Always a risk when cycling if there is a possibility of Ice or heavy rain. Personally I would not take the risk of injuring my self short or long term now although its only around 8 years ago when I came to my senses as I used to chance bad weather conditions as I loved to get out on the bike regardless. I am 63 now I still cycle when its cold but when possible Icy conditions I use a bit more common sense.
David hope you're ok after those two spills, lovely countryside and good views. Thanks for sharing.
Yes i'm all ok thanks, the countryside is nice, looking forward to the warmer weather now when it will be much better. 👍
At least you got out,I had a look this morning and thought no way I don’t fancy a smashed hip at my age 🐐🤣🤣
was good to get out, i know what you mean about smashed hip, will double check the conditions in future 😂

Thanks Tony, yes in the summer it would be a nice ride, I guess Tatton Park would be a lot busier 👍
Sorry for your spill, hope you’re ok. Beautiful countryside there. Thanks for sharing your experience. Take care

I considered going for a ride but the ice/frost wasn’t clearing in the shade so decided to stay in. Rather you than me 😳
You definitely made the right choice, i've learnt my lesson 🤣🤣
