Bruh Jujutsu Kaisen got me on the first two episodes, I was so shocked I’ve never in awhile had an anime so drawn into and ending up watching more episodes
If you like Girl From Nowhere, I suggest you read Dear X on webtoons. The mc has a very similar vibe to Nanno. Like their way too similar, even the way they look.
Demon Slayer is definitely an all-time favorite. And any art related to it, that is done as beautifully as yours, is even better. Honestly, the show just knows how to capture emotion, and the writers really make the plot seamless and amazing to be invested in. Love the art :)
As an answer to your question: I kinda teared up a bit when you mentioned Digimon. It is so rare to find another person who grew up as a Digidestined. I’ve been depressed for a long time but whenever I rewatch the series (as well as the new sequels like Tri, Adventure Kizuna, and Adventure 2020) gives me a feeling of joy that I haven’t felt since I was a kid. Nostalgia truly is the rosiest of rose glasses.
I love demon slayer because it one the best and first series that I’ve seen genuine and kind people portrayed without being naive. Something beautiful and truthful about kindness being so raw but not naive. I love it so deeply
I just have to say, since discovering kelogsloop amazing artistic work, I have felt inspired to get back into watercolors and my own art. Truly an astounding artist.
I think I've come to terms with haikyuu being one of my favorite shows, both in animation and manga the story is so fun to me! I've been pretty far from a sporty person in life, but this story about this tiny dude playing volleyball and seeing his ambitions take hold of his dreams...amazing. I have watched the series too many times to count, yet the scenes keep me on edge just the same. The main character's development is so wonderful and inspiring that it can be applied to anyone who wants to achieve something that seems farfetched - the idea that your passion for said thing is all you really need to get started, and when challenges, support, and learning are applied all you can do from that point is grow. It's really a great story with tons of likable characters, just like demon slayer
I almost teared up while watching this video because I remember doing a lot of watercolor art back then, and most of them were influenced by you, but I stopped doing it for almost three years now due to fcking depression, but seeing ur art again after almost three years made me feel like I need to go back to what I used to love before. Kelogsloops more power to you man and make more art and inspire people
I can't wait to pick you for one my artist for next year's art year where we have to pick artists for 100 choices and you are there and I decided to pick you so I'm happy to attempt something like this next year.
Man, you have been my inspiration for YEARS. As a huge fan of of Demon Slayer and you as an artist, this video is just everything and more. Thank you so much for going so in-depth into your thought process and your painting process. I’ve learned a lot.
An my favorite artist and anime finally combined and it’s beautiful Demon slayer is one of my favorite shows honestly largely because of the art style, animation and score. Being an artist a lot of that are things I notice and pay attention to As for the writing the characters are all great and the manga writing for later on is fantastic
That masking step really really helps unify the background as well, otherwise I can spend a lot of time working various areas trying to get them to match and STILL be noticeably off. It's just such a handy tool to use.
My fav show is Full Metal Alchemist!!! The story is so awesome. The original one and brotherhood version, both have their own things that makes them special. Also, I've gotta congrats you cos all the pieces you've done are incredible!!! I mean, you're an inspiration of mine. Keep it up!!
That looks awesome!!! Also, in the beginning when you talked about the art you wanted to reference you said art nouveau and ukio-e. I have a fun fact for ya! The fact that you said both of those is perfect. You see, in the final decades of the 1800s European and western art got more in contact with asian and African art. The post-impressionist art movement is the first one to take hints of inspiration, mostly the use of flat surfaces with color (Gauguin and Vangogh). Skipping some art movements, we get to art nouveau around the 1900/1910s. Besides the Greek/Roman gods and muses influence we have clear japanese inspiration. The use of nature is incredibly present because of that. The contact with ukio-e art changed western art so much. One of the things that we see in ukio-e pieces is the quotidian life. When people are represented, they're doing everyday things. Not posing dramatically, not bothered by the fact that there's an espectator. So we'd see people with their backs turnt to the public. It was "more realistic" because you were actually representing something from real life that wasn't perfectly placed there for the sake of the painting. It was just how it was. Ok... I'll stop rambling. Also, pardon my English, it's a second language.
well, im painting with watercolors for about 7 years now. i have never seen a tequnice like that to watercolors yet, iv learned so much from your video and im so blessed that i got to watch your videos now, thank u from beeing such a lovly and teaching azaming and wanderfull artist who is making our world more creative and just better :)
I really appreciate that you put the art styles name that you took inspiration from. It's very informative. I love Demon Slayer for same reason as yours. Another anime that I like is Mononoke . The art style is just so beautiful. It's like watching traditional Japanese painting coming to life.
i been in artblock for like 1 year and a half and im so greatfull i came across your videos it brought back my motivation to draw your vids are incrediblely aesthetic and chill vibes i really enjoy them
Your art never ceases to amaze me! Also, my favorite anime is called Gintama. I love because of it because of its funny story and really wholesome and sweet charcter interactions between the main three charcters. I also enjoy when the story gets serious and the amazing fight scenes and heart filled stories. I also like the over arching story that is hinted at from the first episodes without realizing. And of course I LOVE everything about the main guy Gintoki.
Wow, stunning and inspireing🥰 Wolf's Rain- the story, the quotes, the Art and Character-Designs and the music, it never let me go and is the best anime series i've seen in ages. Second is" the Untamed"- ive seen the live action, the donghua and have read the novel. I'm totally hooked to mo xiang tong xius writing style❤
Bros my favorite artist your style is immaculate the attention to detail and process it’s all amazing I haven’t seen anything this beautiful come from modern times this is art in my own way I want to reach the level your on im just glad to see true art is not dead u give me hope brother!!
one of my favourite animes is 'trigun'! i love the mix of futuristic and wild west vibe the anime has, as well as the art style. i love the old anime style! as well as 'rurouni kenshin' i like its take on that era of japan!
Amazing painting! The style decision is just brilliant♡ And about the show I enjoy: I absolutely adore Fullmetal alchemist Brotherhood and Steins;gate. The first series have such an interesting plot and characters, along with amazing storytelling. It's surprising how It's able to show us the path of every more or less important character! Oh, and the Steins;Gate. I love the main hero and his interactions with other characters, chemistry between them as much as I love the science fiction genre
I love this piece, also found so many tips for painting in this, can’t wait to try them out. I am so easy to influence with television and movies, as long as i feel i can connect with someone on the screen i will watch it devotedly, but one movie that really hit me hard was Wolf children, normally i would say Your name, or Weathering with you or maybe even Your lie in April, but for me the style in Wolf children, the way you get to experience the hardships of parenting and the hardships of being a kid feeling different, just do it for me. The style is simple animation but the faces express such emotion, the music is beautiful the pace of the movie is great. Would love to do a piece where the whole family is in it, like a movie poster, hopefully with a bit more practice i will be able to.
Firstly this painting is soo good!!! Secondly my favorite show/Anime of all time is Violet Evergarden. I think it perfectly reflects how veterans feel after the come home from war and the struggles they must face as they readjust. I always cry while watching the show it’s make you feel something so deeply and I believe any piece of entertainment should do this. It also helps that the art is fucking beautiful. If you haven’t seen the show, please do!
Man I love Demon Slayer so much. I started it pretty late since the manga already finished, but I literally watched it in one sitting with no breaks LOL. I love the art style and how action-y it was but it still was able to hit the feels with the backstory of the all the characters. The amount of culture in the anime was amazing as well since I grew up with anime too. So I guess we like Demon Slayer for similar reasons!
There’s no right or wrong way for art The way u do it and evrything can express your feelings emotion and even pass the message u wan to pass to others
this is so soothing and beautiful... there are times in this video where the music is just playing and you are painting that is just so relaxing.. thank you @kelogsloops
As always an incredible work was done ! Congrats ! The result is so gorgeous and well done by mixing you style with the anime's style. To answer your question one of my favorite anime is Harlock, love those spaceships fighting and the strong story in the background. Would love to see a portrait of Harlock by your hands. Keep up the good work !!
First time seeing you make art, and Wow! This is truly amazing. I wish i cud have this framed on my wall. As an art lover, i know i can make decent art but never something like this, and to buy it authentic must be an arm and a leg lol. Beautiful overall just spectacular.
new vid yayy!! I don't personally have a specific favorite show, but i do choose the genre of a certain show and that's horror, mystery and can also be gory ones your artwork is really amazing 😍
this is amazing!! i feel like demon slayer was made for you, your art feels so similar in its concepts. I loved demon slayer, but my favorite anime would have to be fruits basket! i love the idea of “found family” behind it, and it explores such sad situations while also finding moments to be silly and happy, and really just reflects what life is like.
akatsuki no yona has been one of my favorite anime i've ever watched. not only the story being based on old and traditional life of korean (?), but the protagonist is a princess that learned how to fight using sword and archery throughout the adventure. i recommend this to everyone to watch
I love Demon Slayer for all the same reasons, and I am so happy to see that you have done artwork of Nezuko and Tanjiro. I love their bond and I am so excited for the new season!!
my favourite anime this year has to be God of High School - The animation and movement in the show is so mesmerising to watch. Thank you so much for showing your painting style for this piece! It has helped me understand where I am going wrong with water colour painting. I've recently taken up water colour painting and doing a manga style in 1800s european settings, been having a ball (still learning though.)
I am always amazed at how much thought, detail and work you put in every single piece of your artwork! The mockups and different approaches of sketches to come up with a concept before starting your actual artpiece and all those mockups already look so beautiful... I wish I can bring up the patience and effort some day too. Thank you so much for sharing your process and art. Your my favourite artist and it's always worth to wait for your posts! I would love to see an artbook from you and buy it in a heartbeat.
Wow it's so beautiful. Love it❤️ i love Demon Slayer because of the animation, the story and everything. And i also love Dr Stone because it is like having an awesome science class and how Senku explains how all things are made .It is really amazing
Hi, I just want you to know that you are my biggest inspiration. Because of you, I started doing watercolor paintings! Now, I have been seriously painting for 1 year :D Thank you so much!
I LOVE the background wash and the granularity of the blue on this!! I would have been worried especially with these two colours getting muddy when blending but it worked out so well :)
Mine is mob physo because of the simplistic design yet complex characters and the fact that you can change which made me think that maybe I can change too so it has given me the motivation to practice art.
Fulmetal Alchemist!! Love the characters and their interactions, the world building, the alchemical system, the action and especially the storyline. The art is also unique, not a typical anime style but more true to the original mangaka's art style. The characters are not skinny like in most anime and yet there is something more unexplainable about the art style that really sets it a part from the rest.
Such a beautiful piece bro. I would love to see more of your fan art in the future. You inspired me to do more art by just watching your videos. I am rookie but with more practice make its more a fun experience.
I love Yona of the dawn because it had an interesting plot line and the characters had their own unique persona that made it absolutely worth watching!
This is so AWESOME!! It was nice to hear your artistic choices and you being excited about this made me excited too! One of my favorite anime shows recently is 3-gatsu no lion - the character development is incredible as well as the storyline and backstories!
Wow! Thats completely crazy. In love with the mix of art styles and the thematic. First video that i see from you, but not last ;) Hope you do some prints of this masterpiece, to bring one to my bedroom
I follow you since 2017, you don't imagine how much inner peace give me seeing you create this masters pieces. Thank you for all. Greetings from Mexico 💙
I enjoy watching ghibli films over and over again, because I often amazed by the craftsmanship of the background lol. I love the ones made by Hayao Miyazaki, the lessons and inspirations I get from his creations are just forever. P.s: I am waiting for a painting challenge where you would use your least favorite color, I just can’t imagine how this dynamic style of you, in forest colors. :))))))
my favorite anime and my favorite artist, so EXCITING! im in love with your art style and you genuinely inspire me to actually get back to creating art after feeling artblocked for months
This is so beautiful! As for what shows I enjoy ... I really liked Dororo, for a lot of the same reasons I love demon slayer. It's very connected to Japanese culture and is even slightly historical! And of course, there's a cool dude with a sword xD
This paiting make me go emotional. Thank you for your content, its beautifuul. The art, the way you speak, how you explain the process, the intimacy and warming atmosphere... Thanks, from Brazil. (Oh, and my favorite anime/manga its Attack On titan, im like, obessed lol)
To me my favorite Anime will always me Fullmetal Alchemist (original and Brotherhood), as my deceased brother and I were watching the first series together before he passed away when he was 9 years old. Now, this anime and the manga has a greater importance to me, it helped me through my grief and accepting his loss (just imagine : watching a show were the older brother wants to bring his younger sibling's body back/bring him back to life after losing him violently when you wish to be able to speak to your dead sibling once again, at least to say goodbye... I couldn't identify more than that with Ed). I didn't knew about Demon Slayer that much and when I've read the summary it reminded me of this Anime, so I might go to watch/read it really soon. Your art piece is as beautiful as always!
My favorite show is definitely Gravity Falls. One of the first shows that absolutely blew me away. It's nothing too fancy, but the writing is delightful. I think its where my appreciation for story-writing first came to light. On the surface its so goofy, but the characters are so relatable and real. Their development is highlighted well and I couldn't be any more in-love with the art. For anyone who wants to watch something with family and friends, 'ya can't go wrong with Gravity Falls. The Mystery Twins rock. 💕
Randomly got ur video n after watching this omg idh word how to describe how stunning is this. Literally everything was so perfect the voice, the background music and the shoot.
One if my favorite shows: Soul Eater. Love the world, the characters, the art style, the concept, the music, etc. I've seen the first half of the series like a dozen times.
My favorite anime is Violet Evergarden. I love the early 20th century-esque setting thats sort of an alternate world take on that era in ours. And the artstyle is absolutely incredible, it was animated by kyoto animations so thats no suprise. Above all else though i love the characters, especially Violet herself. She goes on an incredible journey to learn about and come to terms with her emotions and guilt after growing up as a child soldier.
glad to see an upload from you, i loved watching. although not a 'show', garden of words is one of my favourite things to watch; makoto shinkai has such a lovely way of expressing environments and stories that i just love watching.
I love Howl’s moving castle animation by Gibli studio because of the soundtrack, and the art work of Hayao Miyazaki. And this work of yours is amazing for its fine and delicate details. I love it. Demon Slayer is actually my current favorite show.
When ur favorite artist and one of your favorite anime meets one another, there's nothing more that you could ask for :))))
Your thumbnail is so cute 😍 Did you draw it?

Mine is currently “jujutsu kaisen” because of the animation, and the characters. And” the girl from nowhere”- it has an amazing way of story telling.

Unbelievable, I love how you captured the aesthetics of the Japanese traditional paintings while having that bit of the modern twist.
Wow!!
absolute beautiful work

You are the reason I use watercolours 💜
Thank you for being you!
i'm glad you guys are enjoyin the videos! i'm having a lot of fun taking the time to focus on youtube and other fun passion projects this year!
I’ve spent many hrs and days improving my art skills that looking at this I can see just how much hard work was put into this piece, deserves likes!
Demon Slayer is definitely an all-time favorite. And any art related to it, that is done as beautifully as yours, is even better. Honestly, the show just knows how to capture emotion, and the writers really make the plot seamless and amazing to be invested in. Love the art :)

Hermoso trabajo.
Me encantaron las referencias que usaste, tu estilo es genial (ademas me encanta Demon Slayer).
Saludos.
your videos leaves me speechless also your voice is magical :)
Ever since you posted this on ig I have been waiting for the video process..and here it is! Always so satisfying and magical to watch 😍😍😍
I really love your artwork!!! Soooo satisfying to watch you paint!
Mine is mob physo because of the simplistic design yet complex characters and the fact that you can change which made me think that maybe I can change too so it has given me the motivation to practice art.
I can’t even comprehend how beautiful this is-
Undoubtedly.... You are a genius!!.... Actually you r just awesome ....u really inspires me!.. U make my day!
Im screamiiiiiiiiinnnnnn! This is so cool! I hope you make more of thissss 😍
I always enjoy the way you evoke mood in your art pieces
when the digital mockup is better than your finished work
i have found a new favourite artist
I love Yona of the dawn because it had an interesting plot line and the characters had their own unique persona that made it absolutely worth watching!
This is so AWESOME!! It was nice to hear your artistic choices and you being excited about this made me excited too! One of my favorite anime shows recently is 3-gatsu no lion - the character development is incredible as well as the storyline and backstories!
This is so freaking amazing. You've combined two of my favorite art styles and made it look absolutely awesome. Just so super cool and beautiful!!
The amount of talent in this video is just 🤩😍. Came for Demon Slayer and now in absolute awe of all this artist’s work 🙌🏼
I guess this was the most awaited video on your channel ... totally loving it .
Your artwork is just on another plane of existence! It's so beautiful!!!!
Agreed! I also like hyakkimaru's development and the concept was really unique as well :D one of my favorite animes
You are so gifted 🤩👏🏻 Could you please make a real time video on how realize skin tones ? 🙏🏻
glad to see an upload from you, i loved watching.
although not a 'show', garden of words is one of my favourite things to watch; makoto shinkai has such a lovely way of expressing environments and stories that i just love watching.
I love Howl’s moving castle animation by Gibli studio because of the soundtrack, and the art work of Hayao Miyazaki. And this work of yours is amazing for its fine and delicate details. I love it. Demon Slayer is actually my current favorite show.
