I agree. The DC-10 sparked my interest in aviation 22 years ago. Even though they are gone, they will never be forgotten. Love that Hum of the GE engine!!

I was on one of these beauties when I was just a young kid back in 2001 between DTW and AMS, and I remember it like it was yesterday. This aircraft was truly a treat

Nothing beats the roar of a DC-10. I love that sound to death. It gives a great indication of the power that the turbofans produce.

Despite its horrible safety record the DC-10 still is a wonderful plane!

What a classic. This plane sparked my love of aviation back when I was a kid. Listen to that sound! You can't beat it, especially with an AIRBUS! (thumbs down)

I love that sound. It reminds me of the Avro Vulcan. I like the Md-11 the best.

You have no idea what qualty workmanship is all about. Shit on the A330-200 it's european come on since when did the europeans become pros at making aircrafts?

DC-10's were hogs.. come in hot and heavy all the time and suck back a lot of fuel... A330's a much more efficient and user friendly airplanes AND QUIETER... thats what it all comes down to now these days. Not power and guts.
