This was so entertaining I had to watch it twice. Good birdseye view of President Monroe's grave site - it is so unique,. Wondering if that was a quick clip of you flying the drone at the start. Appreciate your hard work. Thanks!
Unbelievable cemetery which my husband & I got to visit. My mother was old Virginia so many of my relatives are buried there. It is so huge that I could spend days there. Overlooking the James River and Richmond is a great site. Thank you for your tour.
Wife and I enjoyed this video very much we watched it twice and the extras you do with the pictures or say Pickett really makes it pop! Also ExtraBilly Smith was cool and I sent your video to a friend of my Author Scott Mingus who wrote a book about Billy Smith ..
This was so interesting, I live in Richmond, I have visited the cemetery about 4 times, each time I see something different, thanks again and Best Wishes to you.
I visited Jefferson Davis and Stonewall Jackson. There was so much I missed because that place is huge and time wasn’t on my side. I will be returning there
Nice job Chris. I can't believed you walked Hollywood Cemetery. I've visited the cemetery twice, but drove each time. My hat goes off to you. You covered a lot of information. A sidebar note that you may be interested in is that J.E.B Stuart was mortally wounded at Yellow Tavern. He died the following day in Richmond at his brother-in-laws house. His brother-in-law was a doctor. Unbelievably, the house was demolished. Anyway, Great job as usual.
Superb . Looks like a unique cemetery and the river views are absolutely beautiful.

Excellent video, kudos to you for walking around Hollywood, it’s huge! You might want to consider coming back to visit Maymont, as well!
Thanks, and definitely have Maymont on my list!

I live out in the Mountain West, and probably won't ever get over to Richmond. Thanks for the tour of such an awesome cemetery!

Yea great place to walk around. Thanks for watching!
loved this-you did a great job pulling history to life
Great comment about cemeteries being places where you “walk through history”…
Enjoyed it! We've had it on our list to see but haven't made it yet.

Yeah that walk was quite an undertaking. lol Thanks for the information on JEB. Didn’t know the full story.
This has got to be my favorite video, the drone shots, the elaborate stones and so much history! Well done👍
Very interesting, thanks! By the way, until 2020, John Tyler had 2 living grandsons. Lyon died at the age of 95.
James Monroe died in July 4th 1831
