I was the live twin/spright player. I didn’t know ruin god was a card that existed in yugioh, didn’t know it couldn’t be negated until I fully read the card after I saw it wasn’t negated. I was more worried about a possible sphere mode or soul crossing when I saw god cards ngl, ruin god goes unexpectedly crazy. also, I knew the spright red negate would do nothing, that was just me being desperate hoping for the game to bug lmao. Last thing I was expecting , but was really funny. only replay I have saved where I openly showcase an L 😂
Thanks for being a good sport. Yall also have no idea how much i struggle to get a replay because most ppl concede :( so appreciate you sticking it out if you saw the writing on the wall.
@@jessekottonygo I do normally scoop if I know it’s a guaranteed loss, but If it’s something I haven’t seen before I always stick it out until the end to appreciate what the other player cooked up. like one time a lab player did this jank turn skip combo on me with Yujo friendship and the accompanying trap (I forget what the trap name was, was wayyy before rollback was in the game, it was the one trap that mentioned yujo friendship), I thought it was hilarious and stuck it out until the end.
31:20 I believe not, what will happen if i'm right is: 1- obelisk try to activate it's effect on end phase to go to the graveyard. 2- the effect is negate, so it'll continue on the field. 3- a very fun yugioh moment because next turn the untargetable effect is back
Breaking Ruin God was so much fun when Tearlament was a thing in Master Duel, ontop of Tear decks not having a reliable out to Obelisk, the banish GY / burn effect always did 8k damage so consistently, lol.
I've been using the obelisk with dark world danger deck as they have so much special summoning ability making if you draw obelisk or slifer it's very easy to summon
YES I'd definitely LOVE to see more of this deck, especially if you're gonna optimize it even more! I wanna build God decks and take them to my locals ISA 🤞🏻
I run Obelisk in my Dogmatika deck, mainly because it gives you something to do with your guys since you don't go into the extra with them. Also the church summoning God is really funny.
I think Fist of Fate is extremely slept on, it's a quickplay spell with a non-targetting negate then destruction (so it can out cards like BLUE EYES CHAOS MAX) and if you use it on YOUR main phase it's a harpy's feather duster to go on top of that, also it cannot be negated so you can take down nearly any monster with this card. That being said it's bricky because there is no real way to search it but when you can get use out of this card it's huge and very slept on.

Have you tried a Legendary knights deck? My favourite pass time in Master duel is seeing how my scuffed Legendary knights deck goes up against meta XD so far. Its terrible, but everyone for some reason doesn't read Mirror force dragon, and that usually gets me the win. Only once have I pulled off the full Legendary knights summon. But that was against the worst player in master duel, took over an hour to get the summon off.
hey jess how about you rex and sam duel with the god then. First round you can only use vanilla or OG Decks up till battle city. 2nd Round god deck is free for all engines to max your deck powers. Than final round each has to try to win with a wicked god in field next to the original god counter part, or the main character who used that card main monster

Jessie, please try to summon Ma'at and use his effect 🙏 Theoretically you can easily summon him with 4 monsters on the field by summoning the correct link monsters, but you also need to search him and stack your deck for his effect 😭
I wish each god had more support cards as well as generic support to help support and summon a god. There isnt that many devine monsters in the game, which is crazy cuz theres so many gods in this game
