1:54:38, I think I wish I was dead's play was among the best one they could have chose. Accesscode is an 8300 atk immune beater, branded had no way to deal with it barring a kaiju, which unfortunately they had, but it was absolutely a bet worth taking imo
nah, I think he had a line to leathal. Making an transcode talker with update then using update and another link 2 for accesscode would make it untargetable and you'd have a double attacking 4800 monster and a 2800 monster that also would have stopped aluber from being summoned. I'm not the line to get to that point exactly though.

@@mattr791 you only need the one you make access code with update jammer and and splash mage. Unless you need it earlier in the combo, I never really messed around with meth ignister myself.
@@shawnjavery transcode is part of ignisters turn1 setup and you dont have space to play a 2nd copy... knowing whats left in deck "make towers and hope they don't draw a kaiju" is pretty much the only gameplan from there

I love that they sorta just agreed that Branded/Despia was the villain here and the Cyberse was the underdog hero.

While Master Duel definitely have a lot of problem, I actually kinda enjoy the format that we have right now. A pretty diverse one with various competitive decks with Runick being the only thing that I would say is a glaring problem. Kinda dreading Spright and Tear coming bc of that tbh
The game would improve so much if they finally added best of 3 ranked. I kinda miss side deck options and just kinda exploring deck building aspect of that.

@@tossapixeltoyournoelle for things like duel rooms sure but never for ranked Bo1 is just way better for this the glaring problem though the banlist isnt centered around bo1 which is why it seems so clunky

Havent watched yet but Branded Despia, Mathmech, and Swordsoul feel so much better than every single other deck on masterduel right now.
I wouldnt be surprised if this video was just those decks over and over. And i would be surprised if one of those decks won.
What do you think of Dragon Link?
@@xCorvus7x dragon link will always be a playable deck. But its not tier 1, 2, or 3 making it technically rouge.
Ruinick, adamancipator, and @ignister mathmech are all much better decks than dragons right now sadly.
When it comes to rogue though i would put dragons near the very top.
@@cooldes4593 True, the Runick match-up is awful and Adamancipator is too strong if you don't have access to Borrelend as well as Dark Ruler or Droplet.
Though, shouldn't you have space for an Underworld Goddess to handle @Ignister or is the Mathmech side too consistently strong after siding?
@@xCorvus7x even if you underworld goddess their link 6 arrival, the deck should have super-factorial set and it’s extremely hard to play through that as well
I wouldn't say they are a lot better than the next best options. From what I heard there was guru, marincess, thunder dragon and adamancipator in the top 16, so it's not like only those 3 decks are viable and anything else is in the dust.
IWishIWasDead is unironically the GOAT. Why is he never in the Chalislimes? He'd give Mt. Fuji a run for his money.

I was in one Chaliceslime, was 4-0 or something, was the feature, misplayed a won game(Didnt know Herald of arclight could negate when its effect were negated by living fossil), then lost the next 2 went 4-3 in shame

I fall asleep a lot watching youtube. Whenever I watch a yugioh video, this video is always next on the auto play for some reason, so I probably have played this video in it's entirety 10+ times.

That was great, surprised didn't get to see as much maxx C as I would have expected...
That card resolves less than 25% of the time. Anyone that thinks it keeps combo in check doesn't really play the game. It only makes deck lists similar.
@@Ragnarok540 It kinda keeps combo in check by forcing them to run the counter package and reduce space for extenders and techs. Combo is usually designed to have higher engine size.
Obviously it doesn't always work because sometimes combo doesn't need the space. Mathmech is an example. It makes a great board but engine size is average.
The branded player trying to discard his Ash but using it instead awakened some very painful memories in me.
This was fun. I'm excited I have this to watch the next few weekends and hope it stays this strong. I watched the whole thing live and am watching it here too, liking, commenting, and everything to hopefully get this the traction it deserves to stick around.

I think Nibs better sits for removal of really tough to break boards where targeting is out the window. Are there other options? Yeah but not really as a hand trap which helps skirt several different negative interactions. Regardless, Nib in a Branded deck creates massive tokens from my exp buuuut thanks to stuff like Albaz, Super poly and crap like that just funnel him into Albion or something.

Am i the only one who doesn’t go into lubellion first? I go into albion (albaz + inc. ecc) to GY, use albions effect to make lubellion with whatever dark i have, then use lubellions eff to go into mirrojade and I at least have MJ and another fusion monster.
I don’t end on just those 2 that’s just the line i go for, but i see why people go inti lub first.

Once you stop Branded Fusion, the deck is pretty much crippled. Unless the opponent has Albaz and a poly in hand.

As much as I like live duels, I'd prefer if it was just going on a replay. It's just a little too slow for my taste. Plus the casters don't have to stall during the dead times.

I think yugioh has become so powerful that Konami finds it hard to make a power creep in a new set without just breaking the meta and it really sucks to spend a lot of money on cards that have to get banned so soon and that is why they take so long to ban them but then you torture the duelist who didn't want to spend the money

Ishizu tear with grass seems super good?
at 3 sure. with the semi limit to 2 seems like you will just be reducing the consistency with which you hit tear names. Will still try it with a bunch of stuff, pre-ishizu tear deckbuilding is actually pretty fun
No. Ishizu cards already are better than grass. No need to play 60 cards with and unsearchable spell when you can accomplish a lot more playing a really consistent 40 card deck
If you ever play Tear you know that Grass is terrible in Tear because the Ishizu cards are just miles better for milling
@@lhv2k pretty sure he's talking pre ishizu which is much less solved, though i believe the consensus was danger tear was best. In comparison to Grass Tear or Punk Chaos Dragon Tear
It would be insane yeah, but its kinda a troll build. I've messed around with 60 card builds in the tcg and you really just get crazy value off of gy mills. Grass would basically be an auto win button if you go first and it resolves, or if you can resolve it going second without getting flood gated.
