For the folks that stocked up on the first batch of cullshads. Berkley is recalling them for inconsistencies in the hardness that compromise the action, so look up the replacement process online. You wont have to return anything, just submit a photo, you'll get sent a replacement sometime in August. The replacement requests have to be submitted by July 31st
They are garbage. Rolls out, blows out, runs sideways, won't stay straight. 6in and 9in run the same way. These are absolute ass. I just bought 4 about 3 weeks ago and have yet to find one that runs straight or will even stay upright in the water column.

The 6 inch Cull Shad swimbait has two swim actions. Reel it slow for a wide tail action, and faster for a tight action. Very versatile bait. It is a good bait. I have not yet tried the nail weights options yet.
I live here in Minnesota, where we have 10 and 20 pound Pike and Muskie. This is a great bait for Largemouth Bass but it's a secret for trophy size Pike and Muskie. Thank you hope to meet you someday and go fishinh with you.
Able to disclose the weight on the 8” or rough estimate? Us saltwater surf guys are loving the look of that unit. Thank you for the video regardless of what you can share 🤙🏼
MAKE SURE you buy from a large dealer!!!! Small tackle shops may not go through the trouble of getting replacements! Larger stores will have theirs removed from stock.
Bait is garbage. Wont run straight at any point, no matter the line size or retrieve. Bait blows out, rolls, runs completely sideways. Ive got the 6 and 9in multiple baits. DO NOT PURCHASE THIS BAIT. Unless they fix these issues and have a recall these are garbage.
@jpoutdoors95 You’re not wrong. The entire first batch of baits has been recalled. Go to the Berkley website or social media and follow the link. They will replace all of them free of charge. No need to send the ones you have back.

I really like putting in a 1/16oz and fishing it fast

I have still never caught a big Muskie. It’s a bucket list item for sure.
Just grabbed one today for my fishing trip in northern Ontario I leave Sunday will be there for 2 weeks 😁😁
With what pound test did you use for the 6” cull shad?

@@act_lgnd1166hold them side by side, look at the coloration and detail, the hook keeping system, then make that decision. These aren’t cheap either.
Its a little late now but the clip that hold the hook broke on the first fish i caught. I haven't used it since.

8” should come in right around 3oz, maybe slightly less
