@@FordEra one of my maternal cousins sold my uncle's 1963 F100 long bed Styleside (unibody) for cheap in 1977 while attending Arizona Tech in Phoenix Arizona. My uncle had used it as a work truck until he bought a new 1976 Chevrolet Cheyenne 10 long bed with AC to use as his new work truck. My cousin regrets selling it to this day.
I had a 96 f350 crew cab single wheel 4x4 I regret selling and a 64 f100 lwb that I put on a 76 f250 hi-boy chassis I traded for a pair of 78s (one bronco and one lwb 4x4 f150). All I can do is move on and look forward to building these 78s 👍👍

Yes there are fat fenders, fridges, slicks, bumps & dents, heck even bullnose & OBS too
I have a 1966 f100 its been made in to a excab a 65 f100 its has the crown Victoria crossmember to go in the reat narrowed duelly flat bed and my 1974 f350 car hauler 455 buick have 5.9 12 value and have 1989 2500 dodge clip to be clipped fun

Lol I'm with you. I like a truck either stock height or slightly lifted.

Old trucks aren’t meant to be used as trucks anymore. Buy a new one instead🤷🏽♂️
so its actually quite simple. Dont think about it as there truck, think about it as that persons personality. Maybe they think that it looks great, or its fun to drive like that, or they enjoy making the old guys mad, either way what is the problem with someone else expressing their personality & building something the way they see fit.
I can tell you me personally I started in the slammed/ bagged truck stuff and that is still where my heart is, Not everyone has the same opinions
@@FordEra Good way to look at it I suppose. Only problem with that is everyone seems to be copying each other with the same “unique” personality. I’m not being judgmental, I just don’t get it.

These 70's era Fords....ditch those big ugly wheels and skinny tires. They look sooo much better with 15's and 44 rubber
I mean its either 5 lugs or 8 so fairly easy to switch out.
I don't understand why a truck sitting on the ground looks good to anyone. It looks absolute stupid to me almost as much as a monster truck going down the road in traffic lifted to the max. A truck should have clearance to go over rough road, that is what its designed to do it shouldn't be sitting on the ground nor should another car be able to drive under it. I just don't get people and their over the top builds.

how is it ruined? did you listen to when Mat was talking about how he has driven his truck over 15,000 miles in the last year and a half, or the fact that he has a trailer hitch on it and tows his 20,000 pound RV trailer with it?
im going to just straight up sat that your sounding very ignorant. If you are a red blooded amercian who preaches for freedoms & love our constitution then why would you make a comment like that and belittle someone elses pride & joy.
The people who I interviewed most likely love their truck so much & these comments are as hurtful as someone saying to you. Man I dont understand how you like you wife, she is so ugly & this and that. She would be better if blah blah.
