Nice write up. I drove mine for a few days after each change. Love that Valvoline fluid in my Accord. Good stuff. So glad I ignored the naysayers out there and used it 🙂
good video / l did this on an old CRV with real HONDA fluid (expensive) and it took a long time but is shifts some what better / I'll try a generic brand next time on my element / it could be also a failing torque converter bearing / too much work 🎱
The fan or fans should come on as soon as you turn on the AC. The fans should be tested. You can unplug them and then apply 12 volts and see if it spins; if it doesn't spin with 12 volts, then the motor has failed. If the fan does come on, then an electrical issue exists and needs to be diagnosed.
@@APDTYdon’t jump it, you just need to hook up a DMM on the connector and see if it gets 12-14v when it’s up to temp . You may have to drive it around for a few first

Never use any other transmission fluid in a honda. Honda fluid only, source every Honda technician. Also the condenser fan in on the passenger side.
You can use idemitsu atf fluid it is Made for Honda and its a little cheaper 👍" it is the atf fluid in the Honda bottles "

Do you change the filter only when change the fluids? I change my fluids at honda a couple of months ago
We usually follow the Honda recommencations.
No way the vehicle was kept up on maintenance, Fluid was as dark engine oil😂
How long does it take for fans to come on? Cause mine aren't turning on and I have no AC

Hi! I have a 2004 model and it have a inside filter. How can I change it......
Requires disassembly of the transmission.
I don't see this kind of in-line filter for sale anywhere. Is it often called something else?
Transmission cooler filter on a element and CRV
👍👍🙂
Do Honda auto transmissions only use Honda ATF? Is it safe to swap?
Only honda ATF
@@8325A I agree 100%
@@myopicchiwawa trust me you dont want problems with your transmission
@@8325A I have 4 Hondas and I know very well not to mess with ATF and Pump oil.
myopicchiwawa it has the additive for the Honda transmission, been using it for years with no problems

ATF. Automatic Transmission Fluid.
