There is a video...it is so beautiful and it was done a few years ago when this song was remastered in 2019...it makes me cry because 2 of the Beatles are no longer around but are in the video...watch it....The Beatles are a the best and most influential band in rock history...they had very positive songs..their songs were very personal later on, so everyone can relate to them
I am so happy for you, Onyin, to see you are starting on your musical journey through The Beatles. This group was the greatest of all time and you will be amazed at the various things they did in their songs - you will never know what to expect! Here are a few suggestions to get you started on your trip! Yesterday, Baby's In Black, From Me To You, And I Love Her, If I Fell, I Saw Her Standing There, Fool On The Hill, Here There and Everywhere, Ticket To Ride, Norwegian Wood, You've Got To Hide Your Love Away and For No One! Enjoy each one of them, and best wishes to you on your channel!!
George sang lead on this song that he wrote. John and Paul wrote most of the songs, and the one that actually wrote it sang it. They were pretty much done after this. I like your understanding of the meaning of the song.
What a lovely lady! The Beatles, no accolades needed. Two bands that all you have to say is their name. The Beatles, and Zeppelin! 😎👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥
It's mainly George Harrison's acoustic guitar and a Moog synthesiser, one of the very first commercial synths available. The Beatles were always looking for new sounds and innovations. This one was a prototype and not always reliable. Sometimes when trying to sustain a long note the pitch would start okay then slide down. The querk was incorporated creatively at the end of the Intro, you hear the 'oo' sound note drop down just before the vocal comes in. There's also a group of classical instruments arranged by The Beatles producer, George Martin, which comprised of violas, cellos, double bass, piccolos, flutes and clarinets. George Harrison sung the lead vocals of his song, with him and Paul McCartney on backing vocals. Paul played bass and Ringo the drums. John Lennon was recovering from a car accident so wasn't present for any of this recording. This was one the band's final recordings together and appeared on the 'Abbey Road' album. George was so sick of all the business side of The Beatles that he avoided a meeting, where he should have been, at their offices, and instead went to find some peace in the grounds of the home of his friend Eric Clapton. It had been unusually sunny for a British April, so it came as a great relief to be able to enjoy it so soon in the year. George had recently had tonsillitus, been busted for marijuana possession, and also quit the band but been persuaded back. This is a song of great optimism and freedom, and seeing a turning point in his life ahead, away from being a Beatle.
Composed and sung by George Harrison. He wrote and sung some of my favorite Beatles songs. "Something" and "Here Comes the Sun" being chief among them.
I like your thoughts on the song. Yes, it's about the sun coming up, a new day with new hopes and possibilities. It's also about Springtime. It's very relevant especially right now. Here in Chicago, the winters can be rough between December and April: it gets really cold, dark, cloudy, snowy and gloomy. So like right now as the weather is getting warmer and the days get more sunny and the snow has finally melted away and the trees and flowers and grass is starting to grow again, it's like, the sun is finally here again and everything is going to be alright. Love you, love your reactions!
The background to this was that George Harrison got the start for it while relaxing on a bench or under a tree as spring sunshine came on while in his garden ( back yard in US, not sure what you'd say elsewhere). They went from there.
The Beatles have hundreds of hits, but I think you would enjoy hearing another one on this same album. It's called, "Come Together." BTW, most Beatles songs are so different one from another that they are their own genre.
There is also a video for the song. You absolutely have to watch it (for yourself privately). The Beatles were a phenomenon and I think their music is timeless. They have written very different songs, but they all have a special magic inherent in them. Because you will surely get a lot of suggestions for further Beatels songs, I want to suggest something else - also magical. "Turn Of The Century" (Album "Going For The One") and "Wonderous Stories" (Preferably the official music video) by Yes.
You are reacting to "end of career" Beatles. The Beatles music changed drastically and constantly throughout their career, so listen to a few early songs and middle career songs, you will hear development and experimentation.
You need to do a reaction to the Beatles Abbey Road medley of short songs. It is unlike anything else ever recorded by a rock group. It's from the same album ABBEY ROAD.
That's the "Abbey Road" album cover. It's about the false publicity story about Paul dying. George is the grave digger. Paul is barefoot (deceased). Ringo is the Undertaker and John is the Preacher.
Thank you so much for watching fam🥰

I've tried to anilyse Beatles lyrics for over 40 years gotten nowhere 😁
Great observation on the drum. Very underrated part of this song. 👍
A masterpiece from George Harrison. This music will never sound old. Best band on the planet.

This song to me sounds like a song about renewal and the hope for the future
The Beatles most streamed song on Spotify. By a lot. This song always makes me feel good.

It HAS ben a long cold winter, and it HAS seemed like years since the sun has been here. Thanks.

Great song glad to see your well
Wonderful Paul McCartney second chorus voice!
I love it
Thank you 🥰

Very nice reaction, as always! Great song, too! Can't wait for your next one, Onyin! 🙏😊❤️
Thank you so much dad 🥰❤️
It's a guitar barred with a capo to sound higher 😃
One of my best in those days 👏🏽👏🏽💃💃
🥰❤️
Harrison is said to have "triumphed at the end. (Of the Beatles)
There is a fantastic video that was made for this song by The Beatles company, Apple Music.

Amazing reaction 💥
You are reacting to "end of career" Beatles. The Beatles music changed drastically and constantly throughout their career, so listen to a few early songs and middle career songs, you will hear development and experimentation.
Yep, all the way from light pop to heavy metal and everything in between.
Ho ! When Mylène Farmer réaction please ? 🥺
I advise you :
- "Désanchanté" live 2009
- "ouverture + peut-être toi" live 2006, this intro is amazing 😍
Hi *
You need to do a reaction to the Beatles Abbey Road medley of short songs. It is unlike anything else ever recorded by a rock group. It's from the same album ABBEY ROAD.
You should have done the 2019 remix with video, it's a cool video and sounds much better then the 2009 remaster that you're listening to.
It's a great song written by George Harrison
THE BEATLES such a huge catalog of magnificent music. Try to not break the music so much. You’ll miss great transitions.
The Beatles were ALWAYS about peace and love. Mostly, these lyrics were just spoken truth not code words or implying a different meaning.
Except RUN FOR YOUR LIFE hahaha😖.
GUITAR LIVE
That's the "Abbey Road" album cover. It's about the false publicity story about Paul dying. George is the grave digger. Paul is barefoot (deceased). Ringo is the Undertaker and John is the Preacher.
The walrus is Paul
There is a great video to this song also, please check it out. Great reaction!
Thank you 😊
