    Can you explain how near infrared light generates heat?

    @DavidMausJr Curious what your typical week looks like with the combination of the sweat tent. Are you using the full spectrum 3x a week and sweat tent 2x-4x or vice versa? both the same day? If you go full spectrum is there still a need for sweat tent? You may have another video on this. Thanks.

      This one is over by my gym so its easy to turn it on and use it after the workout. Thats what I typically do, 10-15 mins in full spectrum after the workout. I LOVE using the traditional sauna at night. Its a great place to unwind and talk with friends/family and get ready for a good nights sleep.

    What's the hottest you got this sauna? Just curious if the fan hack is worth looking into when mine arrives in March.

    It’s all wonderful n all but most of us don’t have the space to just unpack ourselves every day let alone enough space to house a sauna & a cold dunker! I would love to use infra red believe me coz I’m in agony as I move around every day😢

    Which benefits can this full spectrum sauna give you that you can't get with a traditional sauna?

    Gotta start out by saying I love your content, but there is no way you can burn 600 calories in a half hour in any sort of sauna. I dont think theres any way you could burn 600 calories in a half hour period. The average person only burns about 60-90 calories per 10 minutes of cardio. You can definitely bump that up more if you were to do some sort of crossfit/HIIT workout but not by more than maybe 30 cals per 10 mins. Plus your heart rate wouldnt even increase up to a baseline cardio level until you hit minimum 8-10 minutes and even thats pretty quick to hit about 110BPM in a sauna. And if youre going by a watch like a garmin to measure calories burned, that number is massively inflated.

      Thank you and I thought that was pretty high myself. I don’t know if many people would be willing to test that out. I did. I couldn’t stay in the whole 30 mins but after an intense HIIT workout (heart rate in zone 4-5 for 20 mins) I got right into this sauna for 10 mins and based on my garmin, heart rate stayed in zone 4 and I burned 190 calories in 10 mins. I got out at 10 mins, it was brutal. Other articles and videos I watched said similar but like most it’s probably inflated and different for everyone and every situation.

      @erickosmicki7812 Місяць тому +1

      @DavidMausJr yea that 190 number is massively inflated, but even if it was accurate, you had to do a really hard HIIT workout to get into that zone 4 or 5 to begin with, therefore using sauna only would never get you to zone 4 quick enough to burn that level of calories in the short period of time. Also heart rate zone is only one aspect of burning calories. The type of exercise you're doing also influences how many calories you burn, so just sitting there, even at a zone 4, isn't gonna burn as many calories as doing actual exercises.

    I literally just watched a video of you contradicting everything in this video, saying infrared sauna don’t get you to sweat?? Why is this different than other infrared sauna?

      Its full spectrum. Hence the title "why everyone is upgrading to full spectrum" most of them are far infrared only. Huge difference. Watch the video I explain it.

    Basically water stops most of the red light spectrum so mixing sauna and red light therapy is not very impactful. Sauna alone is great.
