- Beautiful SRT 392 vs 370z Nismo FBO e85. Im running different rear tires as you can notice. I took off the 20in Ferradas with Nitto 555G2 and put stock rims with Continental Extreme contact sport tires. Huge difference in performance with just the rear changed, the grip is the main difference but also less weight. Going back to all stock rims for less weight even though i love the look of the 20in Ferradas.

@@onlyvon1348 Not a lot. It had fast intentions long tubes & their dual catback exhaust with the mufflers cut out and straight piped. Spark plugs. Coilovers and a new clutch. The rest was in the tuner who was used to tuning 700+whp American cars so he did a few tricks to get more top-end power (something about torque-based throttle). And quick shifting.

@@shad3128 the scatpack is the stock car that I respect the most is faster in the 1/4 mile than the 10AT 5.0 & 10AT 6.2 camaro (stockvsstock)

I added the DWso6s to my setup, made a MASSIVE difference!
since your 7at, you should get some 3.90 gears in that thing. I had them on my g37 7at and it made a huge difference. you can find gtr diffs that are 3.90 limited slip for cheap too.

Good races.....I can tell he doesn't lock the charger in gear on the rolls. I feel the charger has the advantage on rolls and top end but doesn't actually perform great on the hit because it looks like he's waiting for the trans to down shift on its own imo
So it's better to manual shift the charger then let the 8 speed trans work??
@@just_a5.7 no it's not better for you to manually shift it. What I'm saying is if you're going to do a pull....... before actually hitting the gas..... it's better to manually select the gear that is optimized for the roll that's being done. For example 40 roll 3rd gear...... select it manually. Hit the gas and not long after hitting the gas, go back to auto......... this is better than being in 7th gear in auto..... stomping the gas and then the car has to down shift on its own..... that's causes a bit of delay when you have to wait for the trans to drop gears.
@@MrDerekRobinson you are absolutely right but if you manually downshift using the paddles it will automatically upshift for you when needed. When I do hwy rolls I put the tranny in sport, downshift with the paddles to 3rd and let it rip. But if you use the shifter to downshift, it will hold the hold the gear forever and will not automatically upshift. At the end of the day we gotta give the z credit for puttin in work.

They're fast but they're heavy, that much is known. Take a min to get moving looks like. I think 60 roll is best for it, not low roll. But then again, idk jack shit! I know he started coming for me top end. I know that.
Don’t get twisted . You need to drive one before you talk down on it. It weighs 4,200 pounds but it still moves! Straight line is what they’re made for

Know it would be different against modded v8 but most cars on the street aren't tuned.
The 392 stock is as fast as the hellcat - 0 to 60mph is the same in the street asphalt.
Is even been proved that they run the same 1/4 mile time in the street.
392 was built to kick ass and this 370z was built to kick his ass.

Dodges are heavy old cars with zero alloy anywhere, LOL. 370Z's have alloy doors, alloy hood, alloy hatch, alloy suspension, alloy engine cradle, carbon fiber driveshaft, and one of the best V6 engines ever made

AAM midpipe n resonated short tails. ISR headers. I changed the axel back to AAM S-line axelback. Short tails are nice and loud but too much drone for daily

Just beat a e85 fbo tuned gutted 370 z last night in my stock 2016 charger scat pack and also beat a fbo e85 tuned gutted gti the race right after so I guess it safe to say the driver of the cars matter

Yes but ran in sport mode to redline 7800 instead of 7500. If left in auto it shifts sooner

I get what you're saying but I don't really feel like it's much of an issue. The way I see it most people that are legit lining up from a dig and doing multiple rolls, their cars are probably not bone stock. They've done something whether it's FBO of just some CAI. The people keeping stuff stock will do like 1 roll maybe 2 and leave it at that unless they're driving something with a lot of power like a hellcat or ZL1 etc.

The Daytona is basically a slight improvement on the R/T trim level. It is nicer on the inside, and offers a few performance options that make it a slightly faster racer when moving in a straight line

All dynos read differently. Some lower some higher. Best used to find out powerband, and baseline hp then hp after mod or mods.
