Checking out to learn more about Granada since I'm currently applying for Erasmus program and I so wish to be one of the 16 students that will go and study/practice in this beautiful place🥺❤
We left links to a few good accommodation options in the description below the video! Definitely do Albaicin, Sacromonte and the Alhambra! Those 3 are an absolute must in our opinion. Any other activities are a bonus!
The Zirids never ruled in Andalusia. This region was dominated by the Umayyads of Córdoba, followed by the Moroccan dynasties of the Almoravids (1086-1147) and the Almohads (1147-1238). The Almoravids unified the Andalusian taifas and pushed back Christian kingdoms, while the Almohads established their capital in Seville, solidifying their control over Andalusia. The Zirids, however, only ruled in North Africa, mainly in Algeria and Tunisia.
We loved our time in Granada in 2019. Stayed at an apartment in the Albaicin with a terrace featuring stunning views of the Alhambra!
Sounds magical! 🤩🤩
Granada is a must-see when traveling through Europe. This city and the province of Andalusia are fantastic. Best regards from Germany🏆
