@@rocketman6323 hey did you see Sore Loser, Dig Dug, Badger, and Latch Key Kid's being from Houston? My old band Millhouse played a show at the abyss with Badger and the latchkey kids and we brought gob and then in another show we played at Fitzgerald's with sore loser Dig Dug and brown Lobster tank this was probably back in 1995
My old band Millhouse from San Antonio played at Fitzgeralds around 1995 with Brown Lobster Tank, Sore Loser, and Dig Dug. We also played The Abyss with Latch Key Kid's, GOB, Mr. Yuck, and then we brought another San Antonio band named 222.

July 13, 1997 seems accurate. There’s another video of the Groovie Ghoulies, an opening act -appears to be same night -less people in audience and more amps on stage, can see Kim’s Hi-Watt amp in their video. Also, The Muffs played Dallas on July 11, 1997 (on setlist site), so it makes sense-Ronnie is from Houston, so he probably got to hang with his family for a day. And to DC on July 19.
They should have made more of an effort to make people be able to hear the actual vocals better besides the screams. The rest of the mix is epic but still....
Kim's "wooooahhs!"are the best.
How about a show of hands from everyone whom loved Kim.
I just found out today, I can't believe she's gone. Totally loved her!!!
Makes me smile evert time I listen to her music. What a Gem!
both hands up!
👋👋👋
✋🏼The Muffs are great!
I met Kim in the ❤️90's
while on tour🚐...🎉
The Muffs will always remind me of driving up to Austin from San Antonio on a sunny and cool Saturday afternoon to go see shows at EMOS 👍👊.
I wore my Muffs t-shirt when I drove to Austin from Houston to go see The Chats live at EMOS on October 28, 2023. It was a great show.

No, sadly I didn't see any of those bands and it's sucks that Fitzgeralds's is gone now.@@1thess523
The Kim scream. The Kim smile. She lived a great life.
I'm from Houston, and this show was soon after my 17th birthday. Used to love going to Fitzgeralds. See you on the other side, Kim. ❤️🔥

I love it. No cell phones in the crowd. People engaged in what the fuck is happening. Miss you already, Kim.
Miss her. Thank you, Kim.
I miss you Kim. From Argentina 🇦🇷

Listen. Just so really cool.
nice show. not enough footage of fantastic Mr. McDonald. thanks
I always liked when she used that Hiwatt amp it was her best tone
I never knew she used hiwatt, all I could ever find is she used a fender vibrolux. I love that mosrite style guitar she had but can't find info on it
L💓ve The Influencial Sense of "60's Garage "Proto" Punk Rock" on this "Youngster" Era of Kim Shattuck & The Muffs.
Check an old San Antonio band called Big Drag because they had that very same style.
what a epic playlist
I would like to see the pics that Kim took at around 42:00.
I was probably at this show, but can't remember who they played with. Maybe the Groovie Ghoulies?
Wow, they were damn good.
Love Kim !!!!!
RIP Kim.
Hey question to the o.p.--Do you know the exact date of this gig? It looks like it was from '97, but I don't think it's listed on setlist.fm

@@surfercrow Groovie Ghoulies and the Muffs in the same show, must have been great.
What year was this show? I wish the crowd still was like this. I was at a muffs show last month and there was minimal movement.
Mid-late 90s, I think. Possibly earlier.
genial
i came only to watch Kids in America, and in the end I watched the whole video
That drunk yelling ,All right Chick lets go ! Lol @20mins Is lucky he didn't get the butt end of that GRETCH on his head. She was known for that. lol

Kim screaming sometimes just seems like going through the motions
