I worked on Kim's guitars from 94 to a year before she passed. She had 2 of those Gretsch guitars. Her fave was one she scratched on the head-stock, "Gretschy Poo"...What a doll, what a personality , what an enthusiast , what a voice. I miss her...
Finally a full show of the Muffs in HD. Thanks. If there's one thing I regret is that I've never seen Kim and the boys performe live. So sad she died of that damned disease.On my wall here in Amsterdam hangs her picture above an exact replica of her BST-1000 guitar. For me Kim lives on and nobody can take that away. She was and allways will be the greatest rock & roll girl on this planet..........Forever !!!!
I can't believe I just discovered this band, it was through a mistake whilst searching for someone else. It's not often that I just instantly take a liking to a new band like this. I had never heard of The Muffs until she passed away. I wish i had. Recently i discovered she was the original female vocals in NOFX's Lori Meyers. She seems like a total sweetheart. The kind of girl you'd like to have as a best friend. My gym playlist is full of their content now. That famous yell of hers brings a smile to my face

Love this!! Thanks for posting this a few years ago, just now came up on my computer while listening to Louis Jordon's Caldonia (swing), love many genras. But I'm a huge Muffs fan! Visited Kimberley's grave last year and told her thank you for for the music that has become a big part of my life, that I was sorry I did not know the Muffs when she alive. I then gave her some pretty flowers. I am currently getting back into playing music again and trying to learn by just listening. after 50 years of mastering (or trying to) Queen, I am now into learning the Muffs, goosebumps on the keys!!

There was definitely a decline in her voice preceding the ALS symptoms - I think it was the first sign before her wrist. All very sad. Long live the Muffs

hello, it is recorded with a canon 5d mark II, currently I am already recording with a canon 5D Mark IV with C-log at 4K In the future I want to buy the new canon R5C 8K. All my lenses are Canon and sigma Art. The edition is with Premiere Pro and the audio with Adobe Audition. The sound comes from three points on the camera itself, a Zoom H6 recorder with a directional stereo mic. Sometimes connected to the room's sound technician's table. On other occasions, the room itself provides me with the audio tracks, but this is only on special occasions.

This was about 2 years before she started suffering.
There was definitely a decline in her voice preceding the ALS symptoms - I think it was the first sign before her wrist. All very sad. Long live the Muffs

June 18, 2015 there were still no signs of his illness, it was around 2017 the first symptoms. passed away on October 2, 2019

In the future I want to buy the new canon R5C 8K.
All my lenses are Canon and sigma Art.
The edition is with Premiere Pro and the audio with Adobe Audition.
The sound comes from three points on the camera itself, a Zoom H6 recorder with a directional stereo mic. Sometimes connected to the room's sound technician's table.
On other occasions, the room itself provides me with the audio tracks, but this is only on special occasions.
