    My only gripe before pulling the trigger on a pair of these were the grill conditions. You just solvd that issue for me. Thank you Sir!

    I have a mint pair of RL 35’s that I am going to restore the grilles. These reflex loudspeakers sound great. What a unique design they were. To bad B&O got out of the audio business. They jumped on the Bluetooth bandwagon with that ridiculously expensive 360 degree sound unit. All the bluetooth systems I have listened to sound terrible. The class D embedded amps sound so synthetic. I love my class D but these audio companies have stupid start up prompts and dreadful sound. Not home stereo quality. Poolside and beach junk.

    any suggestions on what type / where to find speaker fabric. I purchased speaker fabric on amazon and it is not flexible enough to fit the curve

    Great video, but I'd like to see is how you removed the rear clam-shell of the speaker from the main body - any tips???

    What model speakers did you replace the OEM speakers with?
    i just picked up a pair with stands for $100 bucks in great condition, but i want to upgrade them to sound more modern like you did. Any recommendations? thanks! 🙏🏻

    Better use gluespray on both the cabinet and fabric for the B&O logo embossing. Only one side the embossing eventually comes loose. What about the straps?

    • @hyuntaiklim8233
      @hyuntaiklim8233  3 роки тому

      Hi
      Yes. I agree to use gluespray such as 3M which would be better result than the normal fabric glue. You can buy the straps from ebay but I don't like the strap material and colour on the front of speakers that need to spand extra cost as well so I didn't do. Thanks ~

      @leslienelwan 3 роки тому

      Still, that particular place where the straps are the fabric will come loose especially when adhesive tape have been used.

    I have watched your video 10-15 times and now started the work, but a disappointing start. I have a problem in finding the right glue, not able to get the embossing correct as the glue do not stick it well in shape. I do not find craft one which showed you in Germany :(

    • @leslienelwan
      @leslienelwan 3 роки тому +1

      Gluespray should be done on both sides. If not after a while the embossing will dissapear. Fabric will come loose...

      A hint that will apply here: search videos on how to replace car interior roof fabric. Very similar principle with very similar materials. That will provide tips and tricks to get delicate fabric to stick and might even provide a good spray adhesive to use in this case. Cheers!
