Lovely and I’m so happy to see this. Very well done! As a woman in the arts I wish Lisa Rusk had been mentioned as the co-founder. She was a great inspiration to many of us.
I find it hilarious how a lot of bands on Touch & Go are heavy and abrasive, but in these interviews everyone is so mellow.
My favorite label. Thank you T&G for all the great (and life changing) music over the years.

nice work! HDV? touch & go is my favorite label, along with merge and epitaph. they, among others, are run with a similar business ethic that is based on simply not being an asshole to people in general. i've had the pleasure of working with many great indies, including t&g, and corey rusk is one of the most genuinely, smart and likable people anyone could meet.

Interesting not one mention of Dave, Tesco, or the fanzine, I know they turned the label over to Rusk pretty early on but I mean you figure they would mention the fanzine, early singles and what started it all.

A low down dirty shame Tesco Vee was swept aside. Too bad abou the Buttholes...the band who drew me to Touch and Go and discovered so many more great ones. Those records were out of print, though...and a bit pricey to replace.
What? No mention of the Butthole Surfers? Neither the storied partnership, nor the lawsuit debacle?
yep , what a load of bullshit .straight dealing ? honest ?? treat everyone fair , like a friend with no need for contract for bands just a handshake ? the bands are free to go elsewhere ?? oh really .. thats why they sued the butthole surfers twice !! when they wanted to release their own records
@@garethturner4811 Someone needs to do a documentary on THEM. I know about the books, but that's a legendary band that if you look around UA-cam, there are very few interviews with them? Frankly it pisses me off cause they way more interesting then other bands that weren't half as cool or talented as Butthole Surfers!
