F1 would be a better place if Burnie would stop lining his pockets.
Hybrids have (and never where) a good idea for the whole grid.
Bring back refueling and non hybrid engine for the lower teams.
hybrids would have an efficiency advantage by using less fuel but they cost a lot more.
Also add another 4 or 5 engines per year and the teams will actually use the available track time (and be cheaper overall).

Simple. Much as I like the v6 hybrid power, bring back the v10 engines back, stop all this tire crap because it's boring to watch the most high tech car be sandbag because they need to save tires. If you want f1 to be back take a page from the wec championship. Funny how that is because the FIA over sees that too.

"1000bhp V8's would not be easy to implement".
We just need to pick up the current technical reg book, delete the articles concerning the current PU, paste the 2013 PU regs in its place, raise the rev limit. and put more emphasis on KERS.
It would be very easy to implement. All the manufacturers still have the 2013 V8's blueprints, and developing them to achieve the 1000hp mark would be way less costly in the long run than contuniung to develop the current, highly expensive PU's.

***** Not be easy to implement from a supply point of view. Mercedes and Renault and Honda would probably leave. So then all teams would have Ferrari engines (assuming they don't leave too) or would have to develop their own engines.

I agree that Honda would most likely leave the sport once again. But all the other suppliers would remain in the sport. Renault would be delighted with a reg change, Ferrari would not mind it either, and i think Mercedes is committed to the sport, long-term.

***** Renault were the ones who said they would leave. Mercedes would not want to lose their current advantage but yes, as I said Ferrari are the most likely to stay as F1 is such an important part of their brand.

I don't know when Renault said it. Both Renault and Redbull have been pushing for a regulation change since 2014.

***** No, Renault said they were going to quit the sport if the V6 turbo engines weren't coming into the sport. Renault want 1000bhp V6 engines to equalise the field as they have had a poor start to this new era.

If they lose Monza that is an absolute travesty. How can you not have an Italian GP? What the fuck is that? What kind of a total imbecile would even consider not having an Italian GP?
When the hell did they have 1000bhp V8s? I'm pretty sure the 2006-2013 engines were 700-800bhp and I'm pretty sure the cars didn't have 1000bhp in the 90s. Also, wtf? Give us the V10s back not the V8s.
