This interview is more relevant now than ever, helping many people discern their calling. We appreciate @InThePews for conducting this insightful interview. Father did an excellent job guiding us to find our vocation in these challenging times.
This interviewer is obsessed with this priest's past. Give it a rest! You are asking this priest about a time when this priest was a teenager. It's the past; please don't insult this priest's intelligence and ask him mature questions. I felt sorry for this priest being badgered by this guy who needs to learn people skills & better ways to interview someone. The priest should have told him to move on.. :(
We're sorry you feel that way. The purpose of our interviews are to explore the past lives of our guests, and to see how God has shown himself in their lives. Fr. David Michael's experience would be relatable to young people who are discerning religious life. If you don't see value it in, perhaps one of our other interviews is for you. Have a good day and God bless!

Don’t you think that perhaps, this was the aspect of his life that they really wanted to showcase in order to help young people? Don’t you think that they agreed on what this less than 8 mins interview would center on? Many people living a celibate vocation had to give up relationships to pursue their call. Of note, many of those relationships were not immoral, just like Fr. pointed out here, it was a good catholic relationship, they went to daily mass together and did a lot of church stuff together.
