Pasadena is my favorite Crash Bandicoot character. She reminds me a lot of Jessie from Toy Story and Sandy from Spongebob. I wish we could get an animated Crash Bandicoot series so we can see more of her. That way, they can develop her personality a bit more. Same with other characters that need it. I thought her crush on Crash was cute.
Hate me all you want but I still like this game over Twinsanity. I won't repeat myself in this video. For those who want to see why I like this game, head over to his Twinsanity review. Critiques of mine: I will say this, the clashing mechanic should've been a rare power up OR have a cool down system (similar to Apex's ultimates). They should've added more enemies besides ninja penguins, infact do the ninja penguins serve Willie? No one knows. There should've been bosses for every hub world; Maybe have Willie as the final boss with two phases: Phase 1 is regular racing (no clashing). Phase 2 would be gunning him down with a weapon turrent. We needed more than 8 characters like Dingodile (flame thrower turrent), Tiny (Harpoon turrent), Polar (snow ball turrent), Pura (chop sticks turrent), N Tropy (clock bomb turrent), and Baby T (Bone turrent). The burp and fart jokes don't age well. There should've been more varied missions. Other characters besides Crash should've got more than two skins. Crash should've had Aku Aku or a health bar (either or I'm fine with). As an 11 year old in 2005, I used to think Tag Team Racing was a direct sequel to Twinsanity because of the Spiralmouth soundtrack and the fact that Cortex betrays Crash after the main villain has been defeated. Other than that, I sank A LOT of hours into Tag Team Racing trying to collect as many coins as I can. Whether that's completing races, mini games, or just replaying the Chicken Challenges so that coins respawn on the map. Before giving away my PS2 aling with my copy of CTTR to my coins in South America, I had well over 100 million coins. As a kid, I thought it was fascinating to try to reach infinity on the coin counter. But after taking a couple computer coding classes in college, I assumed that Radical Entertainment simply put a simple algorithm that sets the coin limit to inifnity rather than cap at a certain number. Would I ever recollect all those coins as an adult? Hell no, I don't have that kind of time like I used to. I can already do that in real life, it's called a Savings Account lol. Other than that, Crash Tag Team Racing was an awesome open world platforming racing for my time, but after being exposed to bigger much greater games, there's no need to sink that many hours. Hell, GTA 5 is a much better game to sink hours to. It has exploring, racing, and lots of stuff to by with your cash.
@@BillyBob_McSanchez to be fair, i highly doubt they will remake it. Game has the lowest sales out of all console entries. Besides, the remakes & Crash 4 (IAT) proved already that they went in a new direction already. And this might be a unpopular opinion, but i don't think open world/sandbox suits Crash Bandicoot's gameplay approach in general.
@Teh69thSpartan An open world Crash game can work. Just look at Mario 64, it's open world and doesn't play the same as Super Mario Bros on NES. The problem is that most Crash fans are scared of change. Then being scared of change is one of the reasons why it's hard to find a platformer that isn't Mario or Sonic.
@@BillyBob_McSanchez except in Mario's case, i'd say open world suits Mario however. Maybe even sonic too. But the reason why i don't think Crash fits as well in a sandbox scenario as opposed to these, is due to how Crash's moveset works compared to Mario's & Sonic. I feel like a open world Crash game would be as jarring as a linear Banjo. Some franchises work better as linear games than as open world ones, or the opposite.

Its a game that is supposed to be played on its release which was 2005. Of course certain content is outdated but through out your whole commentary on it I sensed a woke perspective against it. Humor is subjective and guess what, it was considered pretty fun back in the days where everyone was not easily offended and not living in a society were feelings matter more than reality. So for me, CTTR has a special place in my heart, and it came with many inspiring content. Its a game that came almost 20 years ago which is mind blowing to consider.
