While Starfield has a lot of flaws in its exploration and needs more POIs and many more features. BGS has been listening to feedback and are adding stuff requested by the community which is good to see. If you didn't vibe with Starfield at launch, maybe wait a bit more for a revamped game with more mechanics, but Shattered Space is looking solid and the changes so far have been welcomed like survival mechanics, creations, vehicle and multiple bug fixes.
This game needs proper sandbox gameplay mechanics because of how rare and spread out the handcrafted content is. Instead of repeatedly presenting the same dungeons to the player, fleshing out sandbox gameplay mechanics by taking clues from games like mount and blade and Elite Dangerous can greatly benefit the otherwise bland and mediocre gameplay of Starfield.
this plus reducing load screens between space travel would make this game much better. like in system planet changes shouldnt need a load screen just have a travel animation of engaging a faster drive like NMS, and do the same for orbiting/landing on planets

When comparing to previous Bethesda games in this vein like Prey and Fallout that let you break down junk into useful components, this was a pretty big shock.
Protip, if you drop items in your ship they don't count toward your Cargo limit. They also fixed the bug where all your placed items go to cargo when you change the ship. Hoard away.

Starfield is an excellent game especially with mod support which is very rare for console gaming, all the hype towards its downfall are people who can’t play it, especially free with gamepass
@@SovettaParmetta CDPR has mod support, it's just that Bethesda's Creation Engine is much more mod friendly, and Cyberpunk is a wonderful game at launch, just buggy. You can't fix the core gameplay.

Project Zomboid, 7 days to die and green hell developers have been updated their games for longer than hello games did. The only things that make no man's sky different was the 60$ price tag and that the game was completely broken at launch.
