Very nice!! I live in NY and there are several estates here that I have been to, but never have had access to viewing all the work going on behind the scenes. Excellent presentation and thank you for letting us in on some of the detailed and intricate processes that happen to keep this historical monuments as part of our American living history. Bless you all!

My husband, sister and myself went to see Biltmore. It was really impressive. I'm glad that a certain part if the proceeds goes into the restoration of this beautiful mansion.

The portrait of landscaper Olmstead is interesting in itself. Olmstead and his business partner owned Fruitlands Nursery in Augusta Georgia. This nursery gained even more importance as The Augusta National which is the host of the Masters Golf Tournament.

Why not do an American-style Downton Abbey based on the stories of the Vanderbilts and those who came to stay at the Biltmore. Perhaps some of the writers like Fellowes came be contributing writers the world would love it. It would be more diverse than Diwnton, because Americans, Europeans, Native Americans, Asians, African-Americans, all have played some part of the history. Wealth, war, Christmas, tragedy over decades to the present.

I noticed that too. Almost disbelief. Did they not order enough fabric? Again? I think the camera was focusing on the figural carving but the miss match is what stands out. Dont you think the back would appear more opulent with a little more padding. It appears flat. The seat fabric on the medici sette clashes with the cut velvet also. They definitely need another set of eyes on these projects.

Perfect example of everything that's wrong with our values!
