the fact that the WR seed has a bridge bastion really just shows how much further we can take this category. The seed itself doesn't feel too crazy, cube just played it like a beast. GGS

Nether enter was very fast. Fortress was very fast. End game was incredibly fast considering it's calculated. All of that more than makes up for the bad terrain to the bridge which is pretty much the only slow part of the seed. The bridge wasn't actually slow for a 20-obsidian run, average maybe.

@@samibchiri1442 He had a sub 5 blind in another run. If you combine that with divine then yes. Sub 6 could be possible too with sub 5 divine + 0 cycle
Crazy fact bout this run:
Few hours before the run, Brentilda himself predicted that someone will break his record in the next 24 hours and Cube did it... The curse of 9.36 was broken by Brentilda himself 😵

Seven seconds away from a sub-9, but atleast the Brentilda's Curse has been uplifted now. Also crazy how you achived this WR with a BRIDGE bastion (I was expecting something like housing or stables high roll).

Yeah bridge isn’t the fastest but these days with modern routes it’s decently fast and quite consistent
I was a expecting a godlike nether spawn but he spawned on a random ravine away from the fortress or bastion, the fact that he managed to pull a WR with this is crazy

It's weird how this game _(WITH random seeds)_ can be beat in 9 minutes, nethertheless, congrats on the big world record!!! so awesome :D
sub-7 is even possible because FSG is just RSG but with a guaranteed completable ruined portal fastion and 1st ring stronghold. If one of the runners roll a FSG seed then they can be on serious pace

i think the weirdest thing is that every wr starts out kind of non descript and even a little messy - this was certainly not a god seed but was played incredibly well - that nether fortress imho was pretty awful

Getting the new wr without a 0 cycle is actually insane to see
@platy Look up zero cycle on youtube. It's a newer method of killing the dragon that is very fast on average but doesn't always work and requires a lot of technical skill. camo6's 10:3x from a few days ago is the fastest zero-cycle run so far. Cube probably would have tried it here if he'd had one more explosive.

@@BlueCyann actually i rechecked, and he had 5 explosives crafted, and enough to craft a 6th. altough he didn't blow up his last anchor, the dragon already being dead
@@gaetanbouthors he didn't have enough to craft a 6th as he had 1 string and one wool, so not enough for a bed and only two glowstone dust so no anchor

Im not really deep in minecraft speedrunning, but remember watching previous WR i was impressed by tactical pauses, and other things wasnt that dynamic like in this run, all these wither skeleton hordes, endermen catches in boat, this all is really looks so impressive, this is diamond
